Fasting is a spiritual exercise that connects us with God. Fasting involves abstaining from food or water to draw closer to God and to position ourselves to receive his guidance and blessings. Fasting leads to a breakthrough.

Nehemiah fasted and prayed.

The devil does not want you to be free from that problem
The devil does not want to get guidance and direction from God
The devil is trying to kill/ weaken your spiritual life and thereby prevent your victory ahead
The devil wants to distract, discourage you feel you feel there is no need to fast again
The devil wants to stop you from testifying.

PRAYER

Powers that do not want me to testify and celebrate, you are liars, die in Jesus name
I refuse to give up in my prayers and fasting, my problems and enemies shall give up in Jesus name
I come against every power that does not want me to fast in Jesus name.
