Dream About People Bowing To You

Genesis 37:9  And he dreamed yet another dream, and told it his brethren, and said, Behold, I have dreamed a dream more; and, behold, the sun and the moon and the eleven stars made obeisance to me.

Spiritually, it can mean that there is a calling upon your life like Joseph that will make others recognise you, listen to you, or even depend on you. It is similar to the experience of Joseph in the Bible, where he saw people bowing to him before his destiny manifested physically.

They have perceived your elevation, and they are bowing to study you, to locate you, to resist you when God is about to lift up a person; a dream like this is one of the clearest indications.

The higher God takes you in life, the more targeted you become in the spirit. That’s why Mordecai’s promotion angered Haman. This is why the enemy tries to abort destinies before they manifest.

If you carry this dream, it means God has called you to carry a solution to people, nations, or a generation. The Joseph’s anointing is characterised by suffering and shining; being misunderstood before being celebrated. You’re a solution carrier.

People bowing to you also speak of spiritual authority being released. This is God saying that your voice shall carry weight in your family, your church or ministry, your workplace, or your nation.

People will align with your assignment. Leaders will honour your counsel. What you bind shall be bound. And what you loose shall be loosed.

It means the right people will know you, honour you, and serve a plan of God through your life. This dream is announcing a season where people of influence, resources, and power will bow their gifts towards your vision. Opportunities you did not apply for will come looking for you.

The bowing may not only be about your personal promotion, but it may also reveal that you’re called to stand in a gap for others. If you see these, please know that there is a season to move in tall through prayer and self-exaltation.

In some cases, it can mean you’re desiring recognition in the flesh instead of waiting on God. You may hear people speaking against your destiny. You may hear voices that say you’re too small, too late, not qualified, too sinful for God to show mercy, then the hand of God.

God does not change His mind based on people’s opinions of you. What He has called you, called good, no one can call cursed. What He has ordained for elevation, no accusation can pull to the ground.
Silence every voice that contradicts the dream. God’s will for my life.

5. Every enemy pretending to honour me while planning evil, be exposed in Jesus’ name.
6. O God, let my promotion come from You alone, not from manipulation, in Jesus’ name.
7. My power assigned to misuse my glory, die in Jesus’ name.
8. I receive grace to handle honour and promotion without falling into sin or temptation, in Jesus’ name.
9. Every spirit of pride that will bring me down after lifting, die in Jesus’ name.
