Dream Of Hearing God’s Voice
John 10:27: My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:
PRAYER: I will not hear God and ignore it in Jesus’ name.
POSITIVELY
1. It means God is trying to speak to you directly.
2. It means God is about to answer your prayers
3. It means you are receiving guidance, instruction or clarity about your next steps
4. It means God is about to reveal something important to you.
5. God may be alerting you to a trap, a danger, a wrong decision or a relationship that will cost you greatly.
6. It means God is pleased with you or your direction.
7. It means it is a clear sign that God is with you in your situation. Even if things look difficult, you’re not alone
8. The voice can be a direct response to something you have been praying about. God may be confirming I have heard you. Be patient. I am working on it.
9. If you lost something, this dream can mean God is about to restore what was taken from you.
10. God may be speaking to you to warn you ahead of danger, guide you away from evil, and secure your destiny.
Negatively
- It may mean you’re ignoring God’s order or instruction in real life.
- It can be a warning that you’re about to make a wrong decision.
- It may be seen as confusion between God’s voice & other voices.
- It can mean the enemy is mimicking a voice you’re familiar with to mislead you. If the voice brings confusion, fear or contradicts the Bible, then it is not from God, because God’s voice brings clarity, peace and truth.
If you hear a voice correcting or warning you, it may mean you are going in the wrong direction.
If you rarely pray or study the Word but hear voices in dreams, it may show that your spiritual life is weak. This will make you open to wrong advice.
You must not accept every voice you hear in a dream as God’s voice. You must spiritually discern them. Many people have been misled because they did not test what they heard. God’s voice is consistent with His words. If the voice pushes you to fear, it might not be from God.
You must rise and begin to pray for discernment so that your spiritual ears are not hijacked.
What to do
- Increase your quiet time with God
- Study the bible clearly
- Avoid distractions and sin that can blunt spiritual sensitivity.
- Ask God for the spirit of discernment.
Instruction: Engage in 3 days of fasting and prayer, 6 a.m.- 3 p.m. Say, O Lord, help me to hear you clearly.
PRAYERS
1. O Lord, open my ears to your voice clearly in Jesus’ name.
2. Every confusion between God’s voice and the voice of the enemy, clear it away in Jesus’ name.
3. Father, give me grace to obey every instruction you give me in Jesus’ name.
4. Holy Spirit, speak to me in a way I will understand, in Jesus’ name.
5. Every power blocking my spiritual hearing, die in Jesus’ name.
6. I reject every false instruction from the enemy, in Jesus’ name.
7. Any spirit impersonating the angel of God in my dream, be exposed in Jesus’ name.
8. My ears shall not hear the voice of the enemy, but only the voice of God, in Jesus’ name.
