You are very fortunate when you dream of someone telling you to pray, because it means God is sending someone to encourage you to pray. Because with prayer, you can come out of that problem.
This can be a time for you to organise a prayer programme. The reason for this dream could be alerting you to something bad that is coming, or a sign that you need to increase your prayer energy.
It could be a sign that the spirit of God is coming to hear and answer your prayer. God is reminding you that prayer is the key to your victory, protection and breakthrough.
Prayer is the channel through which we communicate with God and receive direction, strength and answers. Prayer opens the door to success. But when prayer becomes weak, many areas of life can become vulnerable.
That’s why the Bible encourages believers to pray continually and remain spiritually alert. A dream where someone instructs you to pray may indicate that God is calling you to a deeper level of spiritual connection with Him.
Sometimes believers become busy with daily activities and gradually reduce their prayer life. When this happens, God may use a dream to remind them to return to the altar of prayer.
Prayer reconnects us to the power and presence of God. This type of dream can also serve as a warning signal. There may be spiritual battles ahead that require prayer.
In many cases, God reveals danger before it happens so that his people can pray and cancel it. The instruction to pray in a dream can therefore be an invitation to take spiritual action before problems arise.
The Bible says in Matthew 26:41 that we should watch and pray so that we will not fall into temptation. Another meaning is that the dream may be a call to intercession. Sometimes God places people in our dreams to tell us to pray because someone around us needs spiritual support. It may be a family member, a friend, or even someone who needs prayer coverage.
Intercession is one of the ways God uses believers to bring healing, protection, and deliverance into people’s lives. This dream can also mean that your breakthrough is connected to prayer. Some blessings are released only through constant prayer and persistence.
Many people stop praying too soon, but God may be reminding you through the dream that the answer to your situation lies in continuing to pray.
It’s also possible that the dream is revealing a spiritual assignment. God sometimes raises people to become prayer warriors. If you repeatedly have dreams where someone tells you to pray, it may be a sign that God is drawing you into someone to encourage them in prayer.
Prayer changes situations. Many battles are lost in the place of prayer. When believers pray, chains are broken, doors are opened, and divine help is released.
Therefore, if you receive such a dream, it should not be ignored. Instead, it should motivate you to strengthen your prayer life and seek God more intentionally.
Remember that prayer is not only about asking God for things. It is also about fellowship, thanksgiving, worship and surrender.
A strong prayer life brings peace, direction, and divine protection. So when you are told to pray either in a dream or in reality, please don’t delay. Do it quickly. Because you may not know if the angel that takes your prayers to God is around to listen to you. Pray without seasoning, without worry.
