PRAYER: O Lord, keep my heart low before You even when You lift me high in life, in Jesus’ name.

The Bible says in James 4:6, God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace unto the humble. This means that pride can shut divine doors while humility opens the door to God’s grace.
Sometimes this dream is a warning from God. God is warning you to stop living in pride because pride destroy a person’s life and destiny.
A person may be walking in pride without realising it. Pride can appear in different ways: refusing correction, looking down on others, boasting of achievement, or believing that success came only by personal effort rather than by God’s grace.
When God notices such attitudes, He may send a dream as a gentle correction so that a person can adjust their heart before pride leads to a fall.
The Bible says in Proverbs 16:18, Pride goeth before destruction and a haughty spirit before a fall. Before God lifts a person to a higher level, He often trains the person in humility.
Many people pray for elevation, but elevation without humility can destroy destiny. That’s why when God use you, first work on your heart. Joseph went through many humbling experiences before becoming a ruler in Egypt.
The dream of someone telling you to be humble is reminding you to depend more on God. Sometimes people become strong, successful or influential, and gradually they begin to rely on their own wisdom rather than seeking God.
The message “be humble” in a dream may simply be a reminder to stay connected to God and recognise that every blessing comes from Him.
You may be showing up pride and ego, and the person was used by God to caution you to be humble and desist from pride. Being humble can attract more favour and peace of the Lord.
A humble person acknowledges God in everything. They treat others with respect, accept correction, and give glory to God for every success. Jesus himself demonstrated humility even though He was the Son of God.
The Bible says in Philippians 2:8 that, being found in the form of a man, he humbled himself and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross. When a believer practices humility, God releases honour, favour, and promotion.
So when someone tells you you need to be humble, do not ignore the message. Take time to reflect on your life, your attitude toward others, and your relationship with God.
Ask the Holy Spirit to search your heart and remove every trace of pride. When you walk in humility, you position yourself for divine lifting. God’s promise is clear:
Those who humble themselves will be exalted. The path of humility may look small and quiet, but it leads to greatness in God’s kingdom.
So when you see someone telling you to be humble, it might be the voice of the Holy Spirit, urging you to be careful and humble yourself so that his protection and mercy can be for you. Resist pride, and embrace humility so that your blessing can last long.
