EXPOSITORY TEACHING FOR ALL MINISTERS OF GOD – The OPERATIONS OF The GIFTS OF The SPIRIT versus The FRUIT OF THE SPIRIT-

Dear friend, this expository Teaching is specially designed for all Ministers of God – Man Of God worldwide, and every seasoned, matured Christian who is aspiring to become a Minister of the gospel in this end time which is witnessing a global deception from the kingdom of darkness! We are on a very crucial matter Indeed. We are on a very special teaching here – THE GIFTS OF THE SPIRIT versus THE FRUIT OF THE SPIRIT! These two things are different and they have different functions in our lives.

In 1Cor 12:7-10, we read about the Gifts of the Spirit “But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to every man to profit withal” Verses 8-10 list the 9 Gifts of the Spirit which include – THE WORD OF WISDOM, THE WORD OF KNOWLEDGE, FAITH, D GIFTS OF HEALING, THE WORKING OF MIRACLES, PROPHECY, DISCERNING OF SPIRITS, DIVERSE KINDS OF TONGUES and THE INTERPRETATION OF TONGUES.

They are 9 altogether. These Gifts are distributed to the members of the Church as the Holy Spirit wills. The Gifts are released for the benefits and the profits of the Church, the brethren. The purpose of these Gifts is to enable the Church to function optimally on the earth! It is to enable the Church exercise authority over the kingdom of darkness and to set the captive free! The Gifts is for power demonstration in the body of Christ to enable the Minister of God perform well and minister effectively. The Gifts are Not for personal aggrandizement or selfish purpose but to benefit the entire congregation, the body of Christ, and to prepare believers to enter heaven at last! 1Cor 14:4-6, 12, 17, 24, 26, 31. Rom 12:3, 1Cor 12:7. On the other hand, in Gal 5:22,23, the Holy Spirit has also listed the 9 Fruit Of D Spirit “But the Fruit of the Spirit is Love, Joy, Peace, Long suffering, Gentleness, Goodness, Faith, Meekness, Temperance : against such there is no law” This is also 9 altogether. The purpose of the Fruit of the Spirit is to manifest the nature and the character of God while we live on this earth. And the nature of God is what the Holy Spirit has listed above – love, Joy, peace, longsuffering etc. The purpose of this Fruit is to enable the Minister of God operate with humility, love of God, patience and self control. Note, the Gifts of the Holy Spirit and the Fruit of the Holy Spirit operate in mutuality! That is, if one is operating only on the Gifts of the Spirit without manifesting the Fruit of the Spirit, such a Christian or Minister is not balanced. In fact, such a Christian or Minister is operating at a Loss! That is, you will not be able to make it to heaven on that day. This is a major problem that many Ministers of God are having in the body of Christ today. They know how to demonstrate the power of God through the Gifts of the Spirit but they don’t know how to manifest the Fruit of the Spirit which carries the nature of God! And no matter how you demonstrate the power of God, casting out demons, opening the eyes of the blind, raising the dead, cleansing the lepers etc without love, patience, humility, self control etc you are of all men most miserable! There is no benefit for you and for heaven. Note, the Gifts of the Spirit is to enable the Ministers of the gospel on this earth demonstrate power over ugly situations and to live a victorious Christian life here, while the Fruit of the Spirit is the ‘Visa’ you need to enter heaven! Many Christians and Ministers of God don’t know this deep revelation!

Read 1Cor 13:1, “Though I speak with the Tongues of men and of angels, and have not charity (Love), I am become as sounding brass, or a tinkling cymbal” verse 2 says, “And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge, and though I have all faith so that I could remove mountains, and have not charity, it profiteth me nothing” You see, this is very clear especially for those who think they can demonstrate the power of God without the manifestation of the Fruit of the Spirit and get to heaven. It is impossible! Look, you can demonstrate the Gifts of the Spirit powerfully on this earth and still go to hell fire and remain there with Satan for ever, but you can’t manifest the Fruit of the Spirit and go to hell. This is the basic and fundamental Truth!

You can demonstrate the power of God, raise the dead, open the eyes of the blind and still go to hell at the end of your mission on earth but you can’t manifest the love of God, humility, patience, longsuffering, self control which is the nature and the character of God and still go to hell! Never!! Many Christians and Ministers of God today are carried away because of the power that is flowing through them and so they became proud, arrogant and pompous to the extent that they are no longer humble before God and submit to the authority of their Superiors or fathers in the faith! This is a very pathetic and lamentable situation! That is why God, In His wisdom, has given us the Fruit of the Spirit to calm us down so that we will not allow pride or arrogance to spring up in our lives thereby destroying our good works. Look, any body operating with the Fruit of the Spirit can never be proud! Such a humble Christian will not see anything to be proud of, since everything – power demonstration, Gifts of the Holy Spirit, miracles etc all belong to God. Again, The Bible says all these works we are doing for God today shall be tested by fire. That is, fire will be used to try our works on the last day. Any work that is not done with love, humility and the mind of Christ will be burnt off!

Many Christians and Ministers of God are going to suffer loss on that day seriously, if at all their souls will be saved from hell. See 1Cor 3:13-15. Today you see many Christians operating with the Gifts of the Spirit without the Fruit of the Spirit! No Gentleness, No self control or self discipline and as a result you hear many so called ministers of God, Bishops and pastors in the house of God sleeping with their members in deep immorality! Yet they are demonstrating the power of the Holy Spirit but they are Committing deep atrocities! Well, the summary statement in what we are sharing here is that, in as much as we need the Gifts of the Holy Spirit to preach well, teach well, pray powerfully, cast out demons, perform miracles, see visions, prophesy accurately, have discernment of the Spirit etc, all these should be done in the context of the Fruit of the Spirit which is love, Joy, peace, longsuffering, Goodness, faith, Meekness, Gentleness and Temperance, which portray the nature and the character of God to avoid running the race and working for God in vain!
