EPISODE 4 – DIFFERENT DREAMS AND THEIR MEANINGS

You are welcome once again to Different Dream Meanings and Prayers with Evangelist Joshua Orekhie. Today’s message is a divine reminder that your dreams are not ordinary. They are spiritual monitors showing the condition of your soul, your destiny, your battles and your breakthroughs. Many people ignore their dreams and fall into problems that God showed them ahead of time.

Dreams are messages, dreams are warnings, dreams are answers, dreams are deliverance, dreams are directions, dreams are spiritual mirrors that reveal what is happening around your life. When you understand the meaning of your dreams, you will stop falling into satanic traps. When you pay attention to your dreams, you begin to understand the movements of God and the strategies of the enemy.

The Bible says in Job 33:14–15 that “God speaks once, yea twice, yet man perceives it not. In a dream, in a vision of the night…” Meaning, God talks to you more than you think, but many do not pay attention. A dream ignored is a warning wasted. A dream understood is a destiny protected. Dreams are spiritual languages, and if you learn how to decode them, you will walk in victory, wisdom, and deliverance. Every dream has a message, and tonight God will open your eyes to understand the hidden meanings of your dreams so that you will not walk in darkness.

If you dream of being in a house surrounded by darkness, the dream reveals that you are in a season where the enemy wants to confuse you, isolate you, or hide your destiny from the light of God. The darkness represents spiritual blindness and attack. It means there are powers trying to cover your star and block your spiritual sight. God is showing you that you need to rise in prayer, because your breakthrough is close but the enemy wants to blindfold you spiritually. This is a sign that you must draw closer to God so that light will enter your life again.

If you dream of walking on a road that suddenly disappears, it means you are entering a season where the things you normally depend on will fail if you don’t seek divine direction. This dream means God wants to redirect your steps. The disappearing road represents human wisdom failing, relationships collapsing, or plans breaking down. God is calling you back to His path because the road you are following may not lead to the future He prepared for you.

If you see yourself inside a house that is leaking from the roof, this dream means there are spiritual openings or weaknesses in your life that the enemy wants to exploit. A leaking roof represents prayerlessness, wrong influence, sin, or a spiritual foundation that is being attacked. It also means that blessings, opportunities, or spiritual strength are being drained out of your life. God is warning you to strengthen your spiritual covering before the enemy penetrates further.

If you see yourself drinking clean water from a fresh stream, the dream signifies divine refreshing, healing and restoration. God is cleansing your spirit from old wounds and preparing you for a new season. Drinking fresh water is a sign that your destiny will experience renewal. It means God is reviving your spiritual life, giving you new strength and washing away every pollution that has slowed you down.

If you dream of holding a key but unable to open the door, it means you have the potential, the gift, the calling or the opportunity, but something is blocking full manifestation. It can mean limitation, delay or a demonic resistance against your breakthrough. The key is your ability, but the closed door is the opposition standing against your progress. God is showing you to persist in prayer until the door opens.

If you dream of driving a car but the brakes fail, this is a warning that you are moving too fast in an area of your life without proper spiritual caution. The dream indicates danger that can be avoided if you slow down and seek God’s direction. Failing brakes symbolize loss of control, emotional pressure, wrong decisions or spiritual attack targeting your movement. God is telling you to stop and pray before taking the next major step.

If you see yourself wearing new white clothes in the dream, it means purity, favour and divine approval. God is cleansing your past and clothing you with a new garment of honour. New white clothes represent a fresh season, open doors, answered prayers and divine acceptance. God is changing your story and giving you a new identity.

If you dream of talking with your childhood teacher, it means God is bringing you back to the foundation of your destiny. Something important from your past needs correction or attention. It may be a forgotten gift, a childhood dream, an unresolved issue, or a lesson God wants you to remember. The dream shows that God is restoring your foundation and reminding you of something that will help your future.

If you dream of climbing a ladder that keeps extending higher, it means God is lifting you gradually into greatness. The higher the ladder extends, the more your destiny is expanding. It shows spiritual growth, elevation, promotion and progress. Even though the journey may look long, God is telling you that you will not stop rising until you reach the top.

If you dream of someone calling your name repeatedly but you can’t see their face, this dream means your destiny is being summoned either for good or for evil. If you feel peace, it means angels are calling your attention. If you feel fear, it means the enemy is invoking your name for attack. God is revealing that you must rise in prayer to silence every evil voice calling your name in the spirit.

To understand your dreams is to understand the secret of your destiny. God is speaking, the question is: Are you listening? Every dream you remember is a message from heaven or a warning about your life. Whatever God has revealed to you in dreams, treat it seriously. Pray about it.

Ask for interpretation. Ask for clarity. Ask for direction. Every dream is a seed, if you respond well, that seed becomes a testimony. But if you ignore it, the enemy may gain ground. Stand firm, be prayerful, and allow the Holy Spirit to guide you. May your eyes be opened  and refreshed, in Jesus name.

DIFFERENT DREAMS AND THEIR MEANINGS

1. If you dream of seeing a long time friend, it means God is planning to restore back your old relationships, opportunities, or favor you once had. It could also mean reconciliation with someone in life or revival of something good that faded away. God is bringing something from your past to your remembrance. It could be a past lesson, relationship, unfulfilled promise, or unfinished assignment. The friend represents a period of your life that is being revisited. Such dreams may mean a familiar spirit is using that image to monitor or re-enter your life. Be prayerful and alert.

2. If you see your relative getting sick in the dream, This dream can be a spiritual alert that the person you saw (or someone close to them) may be under demonic attack of sickness, or manipulation. The enemy might be planning to afflict or weaken that person physically or spiritually. God is revealing the attack early to you so you can cancel it through prayer before it manifests in the physical realm. The sickness symbolizes collective family struggles or generational problems that must be broken.

3. If you see your mother-in-law trying to kill you in the dream, it points to satanic plans to end something vital in your life or family, it could be your joy, marriage, ministry, or breakthrough. It’s possible that the enemy wants to cause or trigger serious issues between you and your in-law, making you feel she’s the one attacking you. If you are under her threat, please see a pastor URGENTLY.

4. If you see yourself making use of a dirty toilet in the dream, it may symbolize a situation in your life that is bringing embarrassment, guilt, or shame to you. The dirty toilet signifies the powers that does not want you to have rest or peace of mind. It’s possible that you are under a curse or sin that is messing up your life. There may be some powers that have hindered from being blessed or favoured by people. The dream indicate a need to free yourself from the trouble fighting you. Pray for mercy and forgiveness of sin.

5. If you see someone stealing your bag in the dream, it means the enemy is trying to rob you of something precious, your destiny, blessing, progress, or opportunity. Losing it means an enemy has successfully stolen your glory or progress. Or about to take away something or someone close toy you. However, if you catch the thief or recover it from the person, it means God has recovered all your lost virtues and glory. Keep your belongings safe and watch over them.

6. If you see vulture or crow flying in the dream, represents monitoring spirits and spiritual surveillance. There are powers keeping watch over your progress, waiting for a moment of your downfall or vulnerability. Seeing them flying above you can signify death, sickness, attack, tragedy, or misfortune approaching. God may be warning you ahead of time about a demonic plan against you so you can pray to neutralize it before it manifests physically in your life. The vulture or crow may signify a bad person you need to cut off your life. Read Psalm 91.

7. If you dream of seeing yourself in your former school, God may be bringing you back to your former school in the dream to remind you of early spiritual lessons or values that you have neglected. It could also mean God is revisiting your foundation to correct or restore something that went wrong when you were younger.

Maybe academic, emotional, relationships or spiritual. However, this dream shows that your destiny is being dragged backward, to old levels you’ve already passed in life. The dream can also mean the spirit of repetition is at work in your life. You keep facing the same problems, mistakes, or failures again and again. Pray very well.

8. If you see a baby born with teeth in the dream, it can mean that a child or person is coming with a gift, luck or blessing. It also means that the child carries grace of leadership, indicating the birth of a prophetic ministry, a divine gift, or a new season of anointing and the expansion in your life . This also denote unexpected breakthrough and favour to come.

9. If you dream of a big dog jumping on you, It is a warning that something or someone is trying to overpower you, control you, attack you or spiritually attach itself to you, to drag you backward. Sometimes God allows such a dream to awaken your vigilance and encourage you to pray. Someone is angry with you and the person is having issues with you. Pray!

10. If you dream of wearing an oversized cloth, God may be showing that He is preparing you for a bigger assignment or calling. The “oversized cloth” means you have entered a season where you must grow spiritually, mentally, or in character to fit the new level. However, it may also mean the enemy has placed a garment that doesn’t belong to you, a garment of delay, reproach, shame or confusion. The enemy sometimes covers a person’s destiny with the wrong “spiritual outfit” to make them invisible to helpers. Pray.

11. If you dream that you were listening to a sermon in your former church, it means that God is speaking to you through a pastor. He may be using the image of your old church or pastor teach, warn, or reawaken your conscience. Pay attention to the message of the sermon in the dream. Was it about repentance, faith, prayer, or deliverance? That is what the Holy Spirit wants you to focus on now.

Sometimes, the devil can use your old church setting to monitor your spiritual life or to bind you to old covenants that still speak against your progress. This is especially true if you once left that church because of false doctrine, manipulation, or spiritual bondage. Pray for fresh anointing and divine direction for your current spiritual journey.

12. If you dream of receiving phone call, it means a person, God, angels, or the Holy Spirit trying to pass a message to you. A phone call in dreams can represent news coming your way either good or bad. If you felt joy during the call, expect good news or answered prayers soon.

However, if you heard a serious or warning tone, God may be alerting you to an upcoming danger, a relationship to avoid, or a step to delay. The Lord uses dreams to speak before something happens.

13.  If you dream of being unable to cross the river, The dream reveals that you are close to breakthrough, but something is blocking your advancement. A river you can’t cross may symbolize the spirit of delay, holding you in one spot. You keep trying, but the same barrier keeps repeating itself. There’s a big breakthrough waiting for you on the other side, cry out to God to take you to your Promised Land.

14. When you dream of being bitten by a frog, it means someone close may be pretending to be friendly but spiritually attacking or monitoring you. Be alert and prayerful. If you are being bitten by a frog on the leg, it means the enemy is trying to slow your movement or progress. You may be trying to move forward but unseen forces are trying to hold you down through manipulation or fear. Pray!

15. If you see yourself dead in a coffin in the dream, it means demonic attempt to terminate your life or purpose before your time. It means that the enemy has caged you and this is making things difficult for you. They want to make sure you never rise or to remain in that problem helpless. Pray against delay, death, sickness and loss of good things.

16. If you see someone falling from a building in the dream, it means something or someone is losing his position, authority, or influence. If the person was a friend or relative, the dream may be showing that he or she is about to face a setback in life unless prayer is involved. God may be warning you to pray for that person (or for yourself) to remain steadfast. Pray for mercy, protection, and divine intervention for anyone under attack.

17. If you see yourself falling in love with a celebrity in the dream, God may be preparing to place you in places of influence where you will connect with great people. You may be wishing to connect with people that will guide and build you. Be careful with the people you love to connect with and don’t allow them take advantage of your vulnerability.

18. If you dream of catching a goat, it means that you will deal with a stubborn enemy that has been troubling or hindering your blessing. The goat is a household enemy sent to monitor and scatter your plans. For others, catching a goat means pregnancy, baby, breakthrough, achievement, success, celebration and promotion to come. Pray!

19. If you see someone putting a weapon to your head in dream, it could mean that someone is trying to attack you or terminate one’s destiny. The enemy wants to “end” you prematurely, but God is exposing their plot to you now so you can cancel it through prayer. The enemy is trying to silence you. The truth is that, someone is ready to threaten you. Be careful and vigilant.

20. If you see yourself eating a lot of cake in the dream, it can mean a coming season of blessing and celebration. You may soon rejoice over answered prayers, good news, or success. Cake represents sweetness; too much of it means you may be losing control of something. This dream means you’re indulging too much in something that feels good but isn’t healthy, physically, financially, or spiritually. Pray!

21. If you dream that you were attacked by snake, It could reveal that someone from your family or close circle is working against you. Someone might be envious of your blessings or position. God could be showing you that an enemy is about to rise or attack you physically, financially, or emotionally. They may be using gossip, or manipulation to fight you behind the scenes. Pray!

22. If you are being chased by a shadow in the dream, The shadow may symbolize the spirit of fear or torment sent to disturb your peace (2 Timothy 1:7). It may also mean there is a bloodline curse or unbroken covenant still monitoring or following you until it is destroyed by the blood of Jesus. It could also mean your prayer fire is going down, giving demons room to follow you unchallenged. Pray against monitoring spirit.

23. If you see your sister~in~law died in the dream, This dream may represent an end of a certain connection, influence, or relationship between you and her. Death in the dream does not always mean physical death, it often means change, transition, separation, sin, obstacles or the end of a season. It can indicate family conflict, quarrels, or misunderstanding that may arise or already exist. The dream may be a call to settle issues quickly in your family before they grow.

24. If you dream of watching a train, it means you are observing or waiting for something to happen in your life perhaps a new opportunity, relationship, or change. It might signify that God is preparing you for this next level, but you need to get ready and fully aligned with it. It may also means that you are observing other people’s success or progress. It’s a sign to pray for grace to stay on track of your destiny.

3. Every spirit of delay holding me in one spot, I command you to break and release me now in Jesus’ name.

4. By Your mighty hand, O God, push me into my next level without hindrance in Jesus’ name.

5. I declare that no river of limitation shall drown my destiny; I cross over victoriously in Jesus’ name.

6. Every pretend friend hiding wickedness in their heart against me, O Lord, expose and disgrace them in Jesus’ name.

7. Father, let every monitoring spirit assigned to slow my progress be destroyed by fire in Jesus’ name.

8. O God, deliver my feet from every spiritual attack that wants to hinder my movement in Jesus’ name.

9. I refuse to be manipulated or slowed down by any unseen force in Jesus’ name.

10. Every secret attack against my advancement, I command it to expire permanently in Jesus’ mighty name.

11. I command every spirit of premature death targeting my life to be destroyed by the blood of Jesus.

12. O Lord, let every coffin prepared for me or my loved ones catch fire and burn to ashes in Jesus’ name.

13. I decree that my life and purpose shall not be caged; I break out now in Jesus’ name.

14. Father, cancel every plan of sickness, tragedy, and loss programmed against my destiny in Jesus’ name.

15. I shall not die but live to declare the works of the Lord in the land of the living in Jesus’ name.

16. Father, uphold my life and the lives of my loved ones; none of us shall experience downfall in Jesus’ name.

17. Every spiritual attack targeting my position or authority, let it scatter by fire in Jesus’ name.

18. O Lord, protect anyone connected to me from sudden tragedy or setback in Jesus’ name.

19. I declare that the plans of the enemy to bring me down shall fail completely in Jesus’ name.

20. Lord, let Your mercy intervene for anyone facing a spiritual or physical attack in Jesus’ name.

48. I command my prayer fire to rise again and silence every demonic presence in Jesus’ name.

49. Lord, let every spirit of conflict or misunderstanding in my family be resolved peacefully in Jesus’ name.

50. I reject every spiritual attack programmed to cause division among my relatives in Jesus’ name.

51. O God, break every negative season or influence trying to rise against my family.

52. Father, protect every family member from spiritual and physical harm.
