Somebody says, “I AM USED TO SIN. REPENTANCE IS HARD FOR ME.’

1 Corinthians 6:9-11, ”Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind, Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God. And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God.”

Just as a Christian can loose the experience of genuine repentance and his sanctification, a man can loose his salvation and holiness.

Genuine repentance is what God honours the most than repentance done out of levity.  The kind of repentance must believers are practicing today, it is nothing but a deception.

You cannot genuinely repent from your sin and be having problem with sin. You cannot repent from your sin and be stealing. Sin can rob off the salvation of Christians.

Acts 3:19, ”Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord;”

Before you can gain the full support of your heavenly Father, you must have genuinely repented from the sins of your past. It is through repentance you can now have the new refreshing of the Holy Spirit.

The day you genuinely repent from you sin is the best day of your life. It is an important day in heaven. Heaven welcomes you and open the way of your salvation.

God really wants to use you and that’s why He wants you to repent of all your sins and ensure that you walk into the path of righteousness.

1 John 1:9, ”If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us [our] sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.”

There is a law in heaven and the law is: You must confess and repent from your sin. These two statements works together to ensure if we are truely born again.

You may have been a prayer warrior, pastor, believer etc, but as far as God is concerned, it is necessary to deal with the old man in you.

A lot of people have been in satanic bondage through sin. When a person is practicing sin, there is no way such a person can see God.

The Bible is a spiritual guide for every Christian. God is seriously  against the word sin. He hate sin with passion and separate Himself from people that practice it (1 Peter 1:16). 

The Bible also says, the wages of sin is death. This means that there is a great penalty for those that commit sin and finds it hard to repent from them.

Repentance without action is disaster. God has declared in His word that sin is an abomination unto Him. If you are a genuine Christian whose agenda is to make heaven and fulfill God’s command, then you must make efforts to avoid the spirit of sin and other properties.

WHAT SIN CAN DO TO YOU AS A CHRISTIAN?

(Gal 6:7)

• Sin can take away the grace of God from your life (Rom 6:15)
• Sin can bring punishment from God
• Sin brings a separation between God and man
• Sin can delay your salvation hour
• Sin will not allow you to enjoy wealth
• Sin can crucify you
• Sin can make all your prayers to be in vain
• Sin can lead to sickness and untimely death
• Sin can bring serious pollution to your body
• It can open the door to evil dreams
• Sin can make you to be so stingy in tithe, sowing
• Sin would gurantee you a ticket to hell fire
• Sin would make you smell in the nostril of God etc

What’s the point of disturbing God to forgive you of your sins? What’s the point of repenting from your sins? And what is the point of crying to God for mercy, only  to see you going back to that sin.

Stranger within you does not want you to leave that sin. In fact, it is through that sin your major spiritual attack is being rooted from and taken in action. The Bible says, the hope of hypocrite shall perish.

Some people can never change until God break and re-build them again. Some would continue to disturb God when He is not ready to help them. Only God knows why these people are into sin despite their prayers and deliverance from church and or mountain.

John the Baptist cried out, repent, believe on the son of God and you shall be saved.”

Many believers have not fully realized the implications of sin and hence they go about committing more sins to themselves. A lot of people takes God’s mercy for granted in exchange of sin.

They usually have this notion that whenever they sin, God would always forgive them of their sin which is right. They should not forget that the Almighty can have mercy and withhold it for obvious reasons.

I want to ask you a very open question

For example, If your daughetr told you that she has committed  an abortion in her past life , and gave you several reasons for taking such a mistake. As a father or mother, you forgive her.

The next time, she commits another abortion with another guy and she walks up to you and explained the reasons and you forgive her and the next time, you discovered  that she has committed another abortion with another man. What would you do?

Hmmm, right? That’s how God view sin. Disturbing God with sin over and over again, it makes God to cast you away from His presence and take His precious Holy Spirit away from you.

Some people finds it difficult to avoid sin for one day, if you are such a person, you need double deliverance from God.

For example, when you ask God to have mercy on you to the extent of telling God that anytime you commit that particular sin, He should punish you straightaway. Then by your ignorance, you forget the covenant you  made with God.

It is wonderful to go for deliverance. It is great to cry out to God for mercy, but then, you should find out why that spirit of sin does not to let you go. Sin is a bondage.

If a pastor gives you some assignments to do, and you say you can’t do it, you are given the devil the chance to manipulate your spirit. If your parents are telling you to dress decently and you say, they should leave your life alone, then you are nurturing the spirit of sin.

When God ask you to pay your first fruit and you reduce the money and use other part of the money for your business purposes, you are digging your financial life. That’s why some people are poor or wretched in life because of the spirit of greedy.

When God told you loud and clear and even confirm it to people that, that man or woman is your destiny partner, you said, this person don’t worth it. You are the one delaying your marital breakthroughs.

People’s problem is not money, marriage, it’s not even prosperity, but sin is the major problem. Sin is a big institution that has different departments. This sin has obviously denied many people of their freedom, blessings and favour.

If you see a man, the reason he is bondage, it is because of sin. If you see a woman the reason she is not marry, it is because of the spirit of sin. GENUINE REPENTANCE IS HARD TO THEM.

How can someone be praying to God and yet be thinking about sex? How can someone be fasting and yet be thinking how to fornicate a woman?

How can a woman just come back from a prayer retreat and the next thing is to run her mouth against someone?

How can someone goes out from church and redirect his movements to a dancing party and hide his Bible ? How can someone be lying to God and a man of God?

Can such a person inherit the kingdom of God? There’s a big problem of sin in the world today. What kind of sin that you are practicing that has become your god? Please Tackle it and be free today.
