EJOM DAILY DEVOTIONAL: July 3, 2026 -This Month Shall Work in Your Favour

Welcome to a new month, a month of showers of blessings and a season of fresh harvest. The fact that you are alive to witness another month is a great testimony of God’s mercy, faithfulness, and unfailing love in your life. Many people desired to see this day but could not.

Therefore, before asking God for anything this glorious month, pause and thank Him for preserving your life, protecting your family, and carrying you safely into another month. As you step into this new month, believe with all your heart that it shall work in your favour.

God has not brought you this far to abandon you. God has not brought you to this month to make you fail. But He has given you the grace to fulfil your purpose this new month. This month is filled with lots of opportunities and divine blessings. Refuse to enter this month with fear, anxiety, or negative mindset. But enter this month with faith, expectation, and confidence that God has already gone ahead of you.

Perhaps last month did not turn out the way you expected. Some of your plans may have remained unfulfilled. The doors you prayed for may have remained closed. You may have encountered some sort of disappointments, delays, rejections, or unexpected challenges.

I want to encourage you not to let yesterday’s experiences shape your expectations for today. Every new month is a fresh opportunity for God to begin a new chapter in your life. If you lost your job, believe that God is able to provide a better opportunity this month.

If your business experienced setbacks last month, believe that the Lord can still restore you this month. If you experienced disappointment in your relationship, marriage, ministry, career, or finances, don’t give up, hold on to God’s promises. The God who changes times and seasons is able to turn your situation around this month. Nothing is too difficult for Him.

Whatever mountain stood before you last month shall not stand forever. Every obstacle that has delayed your progress shall give way to the power of God. Every burden you carried into this month shall become lighter because the Lord Himself has promised to sustain those who trust in Him.

As you expect God’s favour this month, continue to pray faithfully, work diligently, walk in holiness, and remain obedient to His instructions. Divine favour often meets prepared people. If you don’t speak it, it will not happen. If God never said ‘Let there be light’, there wouldn’t have been light.

There cannot be a creative force until your mouth says something. So, if you believe that it is time to favour you, then you have to open your mouth and say it out. Every time you keep your mouth closed, you have closed your creative miracle. Psalm 5:12 -For thou, Lord, wilt bless the righteous; with favour wilt thou compass him as with a shield.

This means you are going to be clothed with favour in the morning, afternoon and night in the name of Jesus! When God favours a man, labour stops; labour continues where favour is absent. Labour cannot be equated with success. Israel labored for 430 years; so hard work does not equal success.

The Bible declares that God is able to do a new thing. This month, may He give you new hope where you almost gave up. May He strengthen your faith where discouragement tried to weaken you. May He fill you with fresh joy, fresh strength, fresh wisdom, fresh ideas, and fresh opportunities. May He breathe upon the works of your hands and cause them to prosper this month.

Isaiah 54:17 – No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their righteousness is of me, saith the Lord.

Favour is an expression of kindness towards an individual, either by a fellow man or by God. The demonstration of favour is usually unconditional. It comes whether that person merits it or not. Another word that is commonly used in place of favour is grace.

When God’s favour is at work in your life, you will be blessed even in foreign lands. In Gen 39, Joseph was so blessed in a foreign land though he was a slave in a foreign land. That is why I know that you will manage the company and economy of nation! People you never knew will send for you in the name of Jesus!

There are countless blessings that God has prepared for you this month. Some of them will come through opportunities you never expected. Some will come through divine connections, answered prayers, unexpected provisions, and open doors. As long as you remain obedient, prayerful, and faithful, you will see the goodness of the Lord manifested in your life.

When God places His favour upon a person, human favour naturally follows. Those who once ignored you begin to notice you. Those who could not help you will be forced to favour you this month. Divine favour has the power to accomplish what human effort alone cannot achieve.

From today, may the favour of God go before you in every place you enter. Whether you go to the north, south, east, or west, may favour speak on your behalf. May every application you submit receive favourable consideration. May every interview end with good news.

May every document bearing your name attract divine approval and human favour. May every meeting, conversation, and decision work together for your advancement.  Every day of this month is a gift from God. Every sunrise is another reminder that His mercy is still available.

Every new morning carries fresh grace, fresh strength, and fresh opportunities. Wake up each day believing that something good can still happen. Refuse to expect failure. Refuse to confess defeat. Let your words agree with God’s promises concerning your life.

This month, guard your attitude carefully. Do not allow anger, bitterness, fear, jealousy, or discouragement to take control of your heart. These things can rob you of the joy and peace God wants you to enjoy this month. Fill your heart with thanksgiving, because a grateful heart recognizes God’s hand even before the miracle becomes visible.

Be intentional about your relationship with God this month. Begin each day with prayer. Read and meditate on His Word. Commit your plans into His hands before making important decisions. Do not rely only on your experience or emotions. Seek God’s direction in everything you do.

A person who walks with God rarely walks into unnecessary trouble. This month is also a month to take steps of faith. There are prayers that require action. If God gives you an idea, work on it fast this month. If He opens a door, walk through it fast. If He places a burden in your heart, pursue it with diligence fast.

Faith is not merely believing that God can do something; it is responding in obedience when He gives you direction. In this new month, do not despise small beginnings. Do not be ashmaed of yourself. Some of the greatest testimonies begin with what appears to be a small opportunity.

A simple phone call, an unexpected meeting, a short conversation, or a single decision may become the turning point of your destiny. Never underestimate what God can do through ordinary moments. This month, be careful about the company you keep.

Surround yourself with people who strengthen your faith, encourage your purpose, and inspire you to become better. Avoid voices that constantly speak doubt, fear, and negativity into your life. Your environment has a powerful influence on your expectations and decisions.

This month, expect divine connections. God may bring people into your life who will encourage you, advise you, pray with you, open doors for you, or become part of your destiny. Treat every person with kindness and respect because you never know whom God has chosen to bless you through. At the same time, pray for discernment so that you will recognize the right relationships and avoid those that would distract you from your purpose.

There is something powerful about beginning a month with the right mindset. Many people enter a new month carrying the weight of fear, expecting the same disappointments they experienced before to happen again. They have already concluded that nothing good will happen because they have been disappointed many times.

But God is saying, “Do not allow your past to prophesy over your future.” Every new month gives God another opportunity to demonstrate His power in your life. Do not speak negatively about this month. Your words matter.

Stop saying, “Nothing good ever works for me,” The Bible says that life and death are in the power of the tongue. Fill your mouth with words of faith. Declare that this month will favour you. Declare that God will order your steps, establish the work of your hands, and surround you with His favour. Let your confession agree with God’s promises rather than your circumstances.

This month, refuse to waste the opportunities God will bring your way. Some people pray for open doors, yet when those doors appear, they hesitate because of fear. Others allow procrastination to rob them of divine opportunities. If God gives you an idea, develop it.

If He sends someone to help you, appreciate the person. If He opens a door for learning, growth, or service, embrace it wholeheartedly. Divine favour often comes disguised as simple opportunities. Also be careful not to allow little distractions to steal your focus.

Every month has enough challenges to compete for your attention. The enemy would rather keep you busy with unnecessary arguments, worry, and discouragement than allow you to concentrate on your God-given assignment. Learn to invest your time in things that add value to your spiritual life, your family, your work, and your future.

Another key to enjoying God’s favour this month is forgiveness. Never carry bitterness into a new season. Forgive those who offended you and release every hurt into God’s hands. Bitterness weighs down the heart, but forgiveness creates room for peace. You cannot move freely into the future while dragging the heavy baggage of yesterday.

Do not measure God’s goodness only by material possessions. Some of His greatest blessings come in the form of good health, peace of mind, divine protection, wisdom, spiritual growth, and a closer relationship with Him. If you have these treasures, you already have reasons to rejoice. Continue thanking Him, and He will add many more blessings to your life.

As the days of this month unfold, expect God to exceed your expectations. He is able to restore wasted years, redeem lost opportunities, heal broken hearts, strengthen weary hands, and make a way where there seems to be none. Nothing about your situation is beyond His power. The God who brought you into this month has already gone ahead of you.

Make this month a month of discipline. Manage your time wisely. Be faithful in your responsibilities. Honour your commitments. Avoid unnecessary spending. Develop healthy habits that will improve your spiritual, emotional, and physical well-being. God’s favour does not replace responsibility; it empowers responsible people to accomplish extraordinary things.

Make room for kindness and generosity. Be willing to encourage someone, help someone, pray for someone, and show the love of Christ. Sometimes the favour you are praying for begins with the favour you extend to others. God often uses compassionate hearts as channels through which He releases greater blessings.

Expect divine surprises. God has a way of blessing His children when they least expect it. A prayer you have prayed for years may receive an answer this month. The door you have been knocking may suddenly open this month. Someone may remember you for good this month.

From today by the favour of God, nobody fights against you and succeed! Everyone ganging up against you is already on the floor is the name of Jesus! They shall come in one way and shall flee in 7ways! From this day, anyone pursuing you, my God will pursue them in 7ways in Jesus name!

In Gen. 26, Isaac prospered where the Philistines were dying of hunger; I prophesy to you, in the midst of economic crisis, you will be going up! You will be favoured above every other person! Favour will make you prosper in that strange land! By the supernatural favour of God, things will turn around for your sake!

When God’s favour comes, laws are suspended; that is why I know that today’s favour will change your story! Natural laws will be suspended for your sake in the name of Jesus. Amen!!!

Above all, refuse to limit God. He is able to do exceedingly, abundantly above all that we ask or think. Your present situation does not determine your future. Your past failures do not cancel God’s promises. Your current limitations do not restrict His power. If you remain faithful and continue trusting Him, this month will become a testimony of His goodness.

Prophetic Declaration

I prophesy over your life that this month shall work in your favour, in the mighty name of Jesus. Every day of this month shall bring you good news, divine opportunities, and fresh testimonies.

I decree that wherever you have experienced rejection, you shall receive acceptance. Wherever you have experienced delay, you shall receive divine speed. Wherever you have experienced disappointment, the Lord shall give you joyful surprises.

May the favour of God go before you and speak for you in places where your name is mentioned. Men and women shall arise to support your destiny. Those who have the power to help you shall not rest until they become instruments of your breakthrough.

• What expectations am I carrying into this new month – faith or fear?
• Have I surrendered my plans to God and allowed Him to direct my steps this month?
• Am I still dwelling on last month’s disappointments instead of believing God for a fresh beginning?
• What practical steps can I take this month to position myself for God’s favour and blessings?
• Will my words, actions, and attitude this month reflect confidence in God’s promises or doubt in His ability?

This month, begin each day by declaring God’s promises over your life. Refuse to dwell on past disappointments, and take at least one faith-filled step each day toward the goals God has placed in your heart.

This month shall end with joy, favour, and undeniable testimonies.
