Command Your Month – EJOM DAILY DEVOTIONAL: November 1, 2026
Beloved, welcome to the month of November 2026! Happy New Month!
I pray that this new month shall bring you closer to God, open doors of good opportunities, strengthen your faith and establish the good work of your hands, in Jesus’ mighty name.
Today is the first day of November, and it is another opportunity to thank God for the gift of life. Many people started the journey of this year with us, but not everyone has lived to see this day.
Therefore, before you begin asking God for anything, take a moment to appreciate Him for His mercy, protection and faithfulness in your life.
To command your month is to begin it with prayerful purpose, declaring your confidence in God and committing yourself to His Word. We depend on His authority and wisdom as we make our requests. Our declarations should express faith, humility, and a willingness to obey Him.
David said in Psalm 5:3 that he would direct his prayer to the Lord and look up. He brought his concerns before God with expectation. Follow that example today.
Speak to your heavenly Father about your family, work, health, finances, relationships, and spiritual life. Be specific about your needs, and remain attentive to the responsibilities before you.
If you do not command your month, your month will command you. If you do not set the agenda of your days in the spirit, the enemy will gladly set it for you. Many people simply wait to see what a new month will bring.
They hope it will be good, they wish it will be better, and they wait passively. But the children of God are not called to wait and see. We are called to decree and see.
God asked Job a profound question: “Hast thou commanded the morning since thy days; and caused the dayspring to know his place?”
This tells us that mornings can be commanded, days can be instructed, and seasons can be given direction. And the purpose is clear: “that it might take hold of the ends of the earth, that the wicked might be shaken out of it.”
Today, you are not going to beg your month. You are going to command it to work on your behalf. You are going to speak to November and tell it what to bring and what not to bring.
You will shake the wicked out of your days before they settle in. Get ready, because as you decree, it shall be established unto you.
From the very beginning, God created man to rule. Genesis 1:28 says, “And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion.” Man was not created to be a spectator in the earth. He was created to be a ruler.
Sin made man lose that dominion, but Jesus Christ came to restore it. Revelation 1:6 declares that He “hath made us kings and priests unto God and his Father.” And Ecclesiastes 8:4 tells us, “Where the word of a king is, there is power: and who may say unto him, What doest thou?”
You are a king in the spirit. Your words carry power. When a king speaks, things move. When a king decrees, the kingdom obeys.
Jesus said in Luke 10:19, “Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.” Notice: “over all the power of the enemy.”
Not some, not most of them, but all. That authority if use well can cover your days, your weeks, and your months.
And in Matthew 18:18, Jesus said, “Whatsoever ye shall bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever ye shall loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.”
Heaven is waiting for the believer to bind and to loose their success through their commands. Heaven backs up what you decree on earth according to the Word of God.
Isaiah 45:11 goes even further: “concerning the work of my hands command ye me.” God Himself invites His children to come boldly, take His promises, and speak them back with authority. This is not arrogance; it is covenant confidence.
Job 22:28 is our memory verse today: “Thou shalt also decree a thing, and it shall be established unto thee: and the light shall shine upon thy ways.”
A decree is not a wish. A decree is not a suggestion. A decree is an official, authoritative pronouncement backed by the power of a throne. When a king issues a decree, it becomes law in his territory.
Look at the children of Israel in the wilderness. God brought them out of Egypt with a mighty hand. He opened the Red Sea. He fed them with manna. He gave them water from the rock.
But what did they do with their mouth? They complained. They murmured. They said, “Would God that we had died in this wilderness!” (Numbers 14:2).
And God answered them in Numbers 14:28: “As truly as I live, saith the LORD, as ye have spoken in mine ears, so will I do to you.”
Do you see that? God gave them exactly what they said. A journey that should have taken them a short time took forty years. For forty years, month after month, they walked in circles.
Every new month came, and they were still in the same desert. Why? Because their mouth had already decided their future.
My brother, my sister, some people are still in the same place they were last November because of the words they keep speaking. “Nothing ever works for me.” “My family is cursed.” “I am always unlucky.”
“This country will not allow anybody to make it.” You keep saying it, and heaven keeps recording it. But there were two men in that same wilderness, Joshua and Caleb.
While others were crying, they said, “Let us go up at once, and possess it; for we are well able to overcome it” (Numbers 13:30). And guess what? Those two men entered the promised land. The same God, the same wilderness, the same month, but different mouths, different results!
This month, decide which group you belong to. Are you with the murmurers, or are you with Joshua and Caleb?
Look at Elijah. He walked into the palace of Ahab, the most wicked king of his time, and he said in 1 Kings 17:1: “As the LORD God of Israel liveth, before whom I stand, there shall not be dew nor rain these years, but according to my word.”
Did you hear that? “According to my word.” Not according to the weather forecast. Not according to the prophets of Baal. Not according to the king. According to my word!
And for three and a half years, the heavens obeyed one man who stood before God. Then when it was time for rain, the same Elijah went to the top of Carmel, put his head between his knees, and prayed, and the rain came (James 5:17-18).
Notice the secret: “before whom I stand.” Elijah’s authority came from where he was standing. He was standing before God. That is why his word carried weight.
If you want your words to carry weight this month, you must stand before God. You cannot be standing with the devil on Saturday night and expect to command heaven on Sunday morning!
The Bible says in James 5:17 that “Elias was a man subject to like passions as we are.” He was not a superman. He was a man like you. If God backed his word, God will back your word too, if you stand where he stood.
Hear me well. The reason some believers command and nothing happens is because they are not under authority. They don’t submit to God. They don’t obey His Word. They don’t honour the covenant or prophetic grace.
They want demons to obey them just like that, but they themselves don’t obey God. When you are under the authority of Jesus, sickness must obey you, poverty must obey you, demons must obey you, and yes, your month must obey you.
Say to sickness, “Go,” and it will go. Say to blessings, “Come,” and they will come. Say to your days, “Do this,” and they will do it.
Look at how God created the world. Genesis 1:3 says, “And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.” God did not plead with darkness. He did not negotiate with the void.
He spoke directly to the earth, and the earth obeyed. You were made in His image, and you carry that same principle or DNA: your words create your world.
Proverbs 18:21 declares, “Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof.” Whatever you say about November, you will eat its fruit.
If you say, “This month will be hard,” you have already prophesied hardship over your life. If you say, “This month is my month of testimony,” you have released life into your days.
Numbers 14:28 is a sobering reminder: “As truly as I live, saith the LORD, as ye have spoken in mine ears, so will I do to you.” The Israelites spoke death in the wilderness, and God gave them exactly what they said. But Joshua and Caleb spoke victory, and they entered the promised land.
Romans 4:17 tells us that God “calleth those things which be not as though they were.” This is the language of faith. Do not describe November according to what you see; declare it according to what God has said.
Let us return to Job 38:12-13: “Hast thou commanded the morning since thy days; and caused the dayspring to know his place; That it might take hold of the ends of the earth, that the wicked might be shaken out of it?”
There is a spiritual principle here. The morning is the beginning of the day, and the first day is the beginning of the month. Whoever controls the beginning has a strong influence over everything that follows.
Exodus 12:2 shows that God Himself placed importance on beginnings: “This month shall be unto you the beginning of months.”
The powers of darkness understand this principle very well. That is why witchcraft operates in the early hours to attack. That is why many evil programmes are set at the beginning of months and years. They want to plant their agenda before you plant yours.
But today, you will arise and command your morning, command your day, and command your month. When you command the morning, three things happen according to this Scripture:
1. The dayspring knows its place. Your days come into divine order. Confusion is removed, and divine alignment begins.
2. Your morning takes hold of the ends of the earth. Your influence, your opportunities, and your blessings are extended. The dayspring of your life spreads to every corner of your destiny.
3. The wicked are shaken out. Every evil agent hiding in your days is shaken out before they can operate. You are not waiting for the enemy to attack before you react. You are shaking him out before he settles.
Somebody is saying, “Evangelist, but my enemies have already programmed this month against me. They have already issued their evil decree.”
Let me show you something in the book of Esther. Haman, the enemy of the Jews, got the king to sign a decree that on a particular day, all the Jews would be destroyed. In those days, the law of the Medes and Persians could not be changed. Once the king signed it, nobody could reverse it.
So what did God do? He did not cancel the first decree. He caused another decree to be written! The king told Mordecai and Esther in Esther 8:8: “Write ye also for the Jews, as it liketh you, in the king’s name, and seal it with the king’s ring: for the writing which is written in the king’s name, and sealed with the king’s ring, may no man reverse.”
The second decree gave the Jews power to stand and defend themselves. And on the very day the enemy planned to destroy them, the Jews had victory, and Haman was hanged on the gallows he built for Mordecai!
Glory to God! If the enemy has written something against your month, you have the right to write a counter decree in the Name of the King of kings, sealed with the Blood of Jesus! And what is written in the Name of Jesus and sealed with His Blood, no witch, no wizard, no herbalist, no evil altar can reverse!
Colossians 2:14 says Jesus blotted out “the handwriting of ordinances that was against us… and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross.” Every handwriting against you this month is nailed to the Cross!
Isaiah 49:2 says, “And he hath made my mouth like a sharp sword.” Psalm 149:6 says, “Let the high praises of God be in their mouth, and a twoedged sword in their hand.”
When God wanted to arm you for battle, He did not give you a gun. He gave you a mouth filled with His Word. Your mouth is your weapon. But a sword in its sheath cannot fight. A soldier who never draws his sword will be killed with his sword hanging on his waist.
Many Christians have the Word, but they never speak it. They have a Bible on the table, but no Word in their mouth. They read Psalm 91 but never say, “No evil shall befall me.” They read Isaiah 54:17 but never say, “No weapon formed against me shall prosper.”
2 Corinthians 4:13 says, “I believed, and therefore have I spoken; we also believe, and therefore speak.” Faith that does not speak is like a car that never leaves the garage. Draw your sword this month! Open your mouth and speak the Word!
And remember Isaiah 55:11: “So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please.” When the Word of God leaves your mouth in faith, it will not come back empty. It will go and do the work of fear!
David understood the importance of the morning. He said, “My voice shalt thou hear in the morning, O LORD; in the morning will I direct my prayer unto thee, and will look up” (Psalm 5:3).
Moses prayed, “O satisfy us early with thy mercy; that we may rejoice and be glad all our days” (Psalm 90:14). Notice that he asked to be satisfied early so that all his days would be filled with joy. What you do at the beginning affects the rest.
This is why the first day of the month is so important. It is like the morning of the month. When you rise up today and pray over your month, you are commanding the morning of November.
You are causing the dayspring to know its place. You are shaking the wicked out of your month before they can settle into it. Do not allow the enemy to take the first day of your month. Take it for God.
Jesus said in Mark 11:23, “whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.”
Notice that Jesus did not say, “Pray to God about the mountain.” He said, “Say unto this mountain.” That is, command the mountain to shift for you. There are times to talk to God about your problem, and there are times to talk to your problem about your God!
Many believers enter a new month carrying mountains from the last one: debts, sicknesses, delays, broken relationships, legal battles, family issues. You do not have to carry them quietly into November.
Speak to them with your authority, command them to move, and command them to be cast into the sea.
When the storm came upon the disciples in the boat, they were shouting, “Master, carest thou not that we perish?” But Jesus stood up and spoke to the storm.
Mark 4:39 says, “And he arose, and rebuked the wind, and said unto the sea, Peace, be still. And the wind ceased, and there was a great calm.”
Jesus did not pray about the storm. He talked to the storm. The same Jesus said in Mark 11:23 that you too should “say unto this mountain.”
When Zerubbabel was facing a great mountain of opposition in rebuilding the temple, God told him in Zechariah 4:7: “Who art thou, O great mountain? before Zerubbabel thou shalt become a plain.”
This month, ask your mountain, “Who are you?” Who are you, sickness, that you want to stop me? Who are you, poverty, that you want to tie me down? Who are you, delay, that you want to hold my destiny? Before me, you shall become a plain! Somebody shout Hallelujah!
When Jesus spoke to the fig tree, He said, “No man eat fruit of thee hereafter for ever” (Mark 11:14), and by the next morning the tree had dried up from the roots. His word did not fail because He spoke without doubt.
When God called Ezekiel into the valley of dry bones, He did not raise the bones Himself without involving the prophet. He said, “Prophesy upon these bones, and say unto them, O ye dry bones, hear the word of the LORD” (Ezekiel 37:4).
As Ezekiel prophesied, there was a noise, a shaking, and the bones came together. Then God told him to prophesy to the wind, and breath entered the bones, and they stood up as an exceeding great army.
Beloved, there may be dry areas in your life as you enter this month: a dry marriage, dry finances, dry spiritual life, a dry career or dry hopes. God is telling you to prophesy to them. Speak the Word of the Lord over them, and watch life return.
Joshua went even further. In the middle of a battle, he commanded the sun: “Sun, stand thou still upon Gibeon; and thou, Moon, in the valley of Ajalon” (Joshua 10:12). And verse 13 says, “the sun stood still, and the moon stayed.”
If Joshua could command the sun and moon to obey him, you can command a month to align with God’s purpose for your life!
Beloved, there are battles you must win this month. There are assignments you must complete. There are enemies that must not escape. And God is giving you grace to command your days so that time does not run out before your victory is complete.
Every day of this month shall be long enough for every assignment God has given you, and every battle shall end in your favour.
Elijah stood before King Ahab and declared, “As the LORD God of Israel liveth, before whom I stand, there shall not be dew nor rain these years, but according to my word” (1 Kings 17:1). Notice the phrase, “before whom I stand.”
Elijah’s authority came from his position before God. And for three and a half years, the season obeyed the word spoken by the prophet. Then, on Mount Carmel, Elijah prayed again, and the heavens released rain.
Elisha faced a city under siege. The famine was so severe that people were paying huge amounts of money for things that had no value, and some had even resorted to unthinkable acts to survive.
In the middle of that hopeless situation, Elisha declared, “Hear ye the word of the LORD; Thus saith the LORD, To morrow about this time shall a measure of fine flour be sold for a shekel, and two measures of barley for a shekel, in the gate of Samaria” (2 Kings 7:1).
In one day, the economy of the city changed. The enemy fled, and food became abundant and cheap, exactly as the prophet had spoken.
Beloved, a word from God spoken in faith can change a season in twenty four hours. Whatever you went through last month, a new word can turn the situation around this month.
When God’s word is released over your November, your finances can turn, your health can turn, your family can turn and your destiny can turn.
Commanding your month is not magic. It is not about speaking whatever you desire and forcing God to do it. It is not about trying to control God or treat Him like a servant. God is sovereign, and His will is supreme.
James warns against arrogant planning that leaves God out: “Go to now, ye that say, To day or to morrow we will go into such a city, and continue there a year, and buy and sell, and get gain: Whereas ye know not what shall be on the morrow… For that ye ought to say, If the Lord will, we shall live, and do this, or that” (James 4:13–15).
So when we command our month, we are not commanding God. We are commanding circumstances, mountains and the powers of darkness, in alignment with the will and Word of God.
John said, “And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us” (1 John 5:14). Our decrees must be rooted in the promises of God, not in our selfish desires.
Also, commanding your month with your mouth must be followed by walking right with your feet. Joshua commanded the sun, but he also fought the battle. Elijah declared rain, but he also went up to pray and sent his servant to look seven times.
Before you command the month, you must also learn to command yourself. Many times the greatest resistance to our progress is not the devil, but our own flesh, our own emotions and our own habits.
David knew how to speak to his own soul. He said, “Bless the LORD, O my soul: and all that is within me, bless his holy name” (Psalm 103:1).
When he was discouraged, he asked his own soul, “Why art thou cast down, O my soul? and why art thou disquieted in me? hope thou in God: for I shall yet praise him” (Psalm 42:5). David did not allow his emotions to control him. He commanded his soul to praise and to hope.
Beloved, as you command your month, learn to call those things which be not as though they were. Do not only speak about what you see; speak about what God has promised.
If you are waiting for a child, call yourself a parent according to the promise. If you are in debt, call yourself debt-free according to the promise. If you are sick, declare your healing according to the promise. This is not denying reality; it is declaring a higher reality, the reality of God’s Word.
This month, command your gates. Command every gate of your life to be lifted up for the King of glory to come in. Command every gate the enemy has been using to be shut.
Possess the gates of your enemies, so that they cannot enter your life, your family or your destiny. Guard what enters through your eyes and ears, and watch what comes out of your mouth.
Paul said, “But I keep under my body, and bring it into subjection” (1 Corinthians 9:27). He did not let his body rule him; he ruled his body.
Beloved, this month, command your soul. When you feel lazy, command yourself to rise and pray. When you feel discouraged, command your soul to hope in God. When your flesh wants to sin, bring it into subjection.
When your emotions want to explode in anger, command them to be still. A person who cannot command himself will struggle to command his month.
“The hand of the diligent maketh rich” (Proverbs 10:4). If you decree financial breakthrough but remain lazy, your decree will be frustrated by your laziness.
If you decree peace in your home but keep speaking harsh words to your spouse, your decree will be cancelled by your actions. Let your decrees be backed by holiness, diligence, wisdom and obedience.
And finally, do not be discouraged if not everything you decree happens the way you expected. Keep trusting God. Sometimes He has a better plan than the one you spoke. Your decree is an act of faith, but God’s will remains the final word.
Commanding your month also means planning your month with God. The Bible says, “Commit thy works unto the LORD, and thy thoughts shall be established” (Proverbs 16:3). And again, “A man’s heart deviseth his way: but the LORD directeth his steps” (Proverbs 16:9).
As you begin November, sit down with God and ask Him what He wants you to accomplish this month. Write it down. God told the prophet Habakkuk, “Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it” (Habakkuk 2:2).
A month without a plan will easily be wasted. But a month that has been committed to God, written down and prayed over will be fruitful.
Remember also that God’s eyes are upon your month. Moses described the Promised Land as “A land which the LORD thy God careth for: the eyes of the LORD thy God are always upon it, from the beginning of the year even unto the end of the year” (Deuteronomy 11:12).
Beloved, from the beginning of this month to its end, the eyes of the Lord shall be upon you for good. There is a difference between noise and authority. Not everyone who shouts has authority.
For your commands to carry heavenly backing this month, certain things must be in place:
1. You must be in Christ. Authority flows from relationship. The sons of Sceva tried to use the name of Jesus without knowing Him, and the evil spirit answered, “Jesus I know, and Paul I know; but who are ye?” (Acts 19:15). You must be born again.
2. Your words must align with God’s Word. Isaiah 44:26 says God “confirmeth the word of his servant, and performeth the counsel of his messengers.” God confirms words that agree with His Word. Do not decree what God did not promise; decree what is written.
3. You must live in obedience. 2 Corinthians 10:6 speaks of “having in a readiness to revenge all disobedience, when your obedience is fulfilled.” Your obedience gives power to your warfare. Sin weakens authority.
4. You must speak in faith and without doubt. Mark 11:23 says, “and shall not doubt in his heart.” Doubt neutralises decree. Speak and believe.
5. You must be consistent. Do not command your month on the first day and forget it by the fifth. Keep speaking. Keep declaring. Keep enforcing your decree in prayer every day.
WHAT TO COMMAND INTO NOVEMBER
As you step into this month, here are areas you must deliberately command:
1. Your Health. Command your body to function in divine health. “I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the LORD” (Psalm 118:17).
2. Your Finances. Command doors of provision to open. “But thou shalt remember the LORD thy God: for it is he that giveth thee power to get wealth” (Deuteronomy 8:18).
3. Your Going Out and Coming In. Command safety on every road and journey. “The LORD shall preserve thy going out and thy coming in from this time forth, and even for evermore” (Psalm 121:8).
4. Your Family. Command peace, unity, and protection over your home. “As for me and my house, we will serve the LORD” (Joshua 24:15).
5. Your Destiny Helpers. Command divine connections to locate you. Like Pharaoh’s butler finally remembered Joseph, command that you shall not be forgotten.
6. Your Spiritual Life. Command fresh fire, a deeper hunger for God, and a stronger prayer life.
7. The Enemy’s Agenda. Command every evil plan against your month to be shaken out and scattered. “No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper” (Isaiah 54:17).
Deuteronomy 11:12 says the land God gave His people is “A land which the LORD thy God careth for: the eyes of the LORD thy God are always upon it, from the beginning of the year even unto the end of the year.” The eyes of the Lord are upon your November from the first day to the last.
Beloved, commanding your month is not a one-day event. It is not enough to pray powerfully on the first day and then forget God for the rest of the month. Elijah did not pray once for rain; he prayed seven times until a cloud appeared (1 Kings 18:43–44).
Daniel prayed for twenty one days until the angel broke through (Daniel 10:12–13).
God said through Isaiah, “I have set watchmen upon thy walls, O Jerusalem, which shall never hold their peace day nor night: ye that make mention of the LORD, keep not silence, And give him no rest, till he establish, and till he make Jerusalem a praise in the earth” (Isaiah 62:6–7).
Command your month today, but also command every morning of this month. Pray over every week. Declare the Word daily. Keep watch over your month until God establishes every good thing He has promised.
Commanding your month is not the same as cursing people. Some believers misuse their authority by speaking curses and death over people they consider enemies.
But James warns, “Therewith bless we God, even the Father; and therewith curse we men, which are made after the similitude of God. Out of the same mouth proceedeth blessing and cursing. My brethren, these things ought not so to be” (James 3:9–10).
Jesus taught us to bless those who curse us and to pray for those who despitefully use us (Matthew 5:44). We command circumstances, mountains and the powers of darkness, but we bless people.
Our authority is against the works of the devil, not against human beings for whom Christ died. When James and John wanted to call down fire on a Samaritan village, Jesus rebuked them, saying, “Ye know not what manner of spirit ye are of.
For the Son of man is not come to destroy men’s lives, but to save them” (Luke 9:55–56). So use your authority wisely this month. Bind the enemy, but bless people. Command situations, but pray for souls.
IN CONCLUSION (THE WAY OUT)
Surrender your life to Jesus Christ. You cannot command what you do not have authority over. Authority begins at the Cross. Confess Jesus as Lord today (Romans 10:9-10).
Dedicate the month to God. Give Him the first hours of November in worship, prayer, and, if possible, a thanksgiving offering. Firstfruits sanctify the rest (Romans 11:16).
Write your decrees. Habakkuk 2:2 says, “Write the vision, and make it plain.” Write down what you are commanding into this month and speak it daily.
Watch your words. For the next thirty days, refuse to speak negatively about your life, family, or future. Let your words agree with your decrees.
Enforce your decree daily. Pray every morning, command every day, and stay in the Word. A decree that is enforced becomes a testimony.
ALTAR CALL
Before we pray, I must tell you the truth. Everything I have preached this morning works only for those who belong to Jesus. The sons of Sceva tried to use the Name of Jesus without knowing Him, and the evil spirit beat them and they ran away naked (Acts 19:13-16).
If you have never given your life to Jesus, or you have backslidden, this new month is your opportunity for a new beginning. Pray this prayer with me from your heart:
“Lord Jesus, I come to You today. I confess that I am a sinner. Forgive me and wash me with Your precious Blood. I believe You died for me and rose again. Come into my heart and be my Lord and Saviour. From today, I belong to You. Write my name in the Book of Life. Thank You, Jesus, for saving me. Amen.”
If you prayed that prayer, welcome to the family of God! Now you have authority. Now your words carry weight. Find a Bible believing church and grow in the Lord.
🔥 PROPHETIC DECLARATION
In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, I take authority over the month of November 2026! I command the morning of this month to know its place in my life! Every wicked power hiding in my days is shaken out now! I decree that November is my month of open doors, divine favour, and uncommon testimonies! My health is secured, my finances are blessed, my family is protected, and my going out and coming in are preserved! Every mountain before me is removed and cast into the sea! Every dry bone in my life receives life! No weapon formed against me this month shall prosper! I decree it, and it is established unto me, and the light of God shines upon my ways! November, hear the word of the Lord: you shall favour me, in Jesus’ mighty name. Amen!
DAILY REFLECTION – ASK YOURSELF
- What kind of words have I been speaking over my life, my family and my future?
- Have I been describing my mountains or speaking to them in faith?
- What does God want me to accomplish this month, and have I written it down?
- Are my desires for this month aligned with God’s will and Word?
- Am I ready to back my prayers and decrees with diligence, holiness and obedience?
WISDOM FOR TODAY
The month will not wait for you to decide what to do with it. Speak to it in the morning, plan it with God, work it with diligence and you will see His goodness at the end of it.
PERSONAL CHALLENGE
Beloved, today I challenge you to sit down with God and write a short plan for November. Write down what you believe God wants you to accomplish this month in your spiritual life, family, health, work and finances. Beside each item, write one Scripture that supports it.
Then, every morning this week, before you pick up your phone or start your day, spend a few minutes speaking those Scriptures over your life and your day. Speak to every mountain you are facing, and command your day in the name of Jesus. Finally, watch your words this month. Whenever you catch yourself speaking negatively about your life, stop, correct it, and speak what God says instead.
EVANGELISM CHALLENGE
Many people are entering this new month with fear, hopelessness and negative expectations, because they do not know the God who holds the future. Reach out to one person today and wish them a happy new month.

AFRICAN PROVERB
“Tomorrow belongs to the people who prepare for it today.”
Meaning: The future does not simply fall into the hands of those who wait for it; it is shaped by those who prepare for it. As you begin this new month, prepare for it in prayer, plan it with God and speak His Word over it. The person who commands the morning and prepares the way will walk into a month already blessed by preparation.
