Your Dream And Your Interpretation (Part 1)

Dreams and visions have always been one of God’s ways of speaking to people. For instance, in 1 Kings 3:5, the NLT says that night the Lord appeared to Solomon in a dream, and God said What do you want? Ask and I will give it to you; this is a dream of inquiry. In Genesis 31:24, the Bible SAYS, BUT THE PREVIOUS NIGHT God had appeared to Laban the Aramaen in a dream and told him, I am warning you, leave Jacob alone, this is a warning dream from God.

In Genesis 40:5-8, NLT, while they were in prison, Pharaoh’s cup-bearer and baker each had a dream one night, and each dream had its meaning. When Joseph saw them the next morning, he noticed that they both looked upset. Why do you look worried today? He asked and they replied, we both had dreams last night, but no one told us what they mean. Interpreting dreams is God’s business, Joseph replied.

Go ahead and tell me your dreams. The chief cup-bearer and the chef baker had a disturbing dream; they find it difficult to interpret their dreams, and they don’t even know whether their dream is good or bad. When they approached Joseph in prison, right there, the spirit of the Lord came upon him to interpret the chief cupbearer’s dream; luckily, it was a good dream.

In vs. 12, the bible says, This is what the dream means, Joseph said, The three branches represent 3 days. Vs. 13, within 3 days, Pharaoh will lift you and restore you to your position as his chief cup-bearer. In vs. 14, Joseph said this, and please remember me and do me a favour when things go well for you, mention me to Pharaoh, so he might let me out of this place.

I pray for you, may your gift take you out of captivity in Jesus’ name. May you not suffer the punishment you don’t deserve in Jesus’ name. It is good to dream, but dangerous not to know the meaning; it is even risky to forget every activity or picture that took place in your dream. In the Old Testament, even the wicked people, including Pharaoh and Nebuchadnezzar, were looking for someone who could interpret other dreams.

Your dream is your destiny, your dream reveals the secret plan of your enemy, and your dream reveals the love of God towards you. God took this assignment of dreams seriously because he knows that if people do not understand their troubled dreams, many terrible things would happen to the dreamer or their loved ones.

For example, you may have a dream about someone you don’t know, and God could be using that dream to tell you to pray for your loved ones as something bad is coming to harm the person. Until the spirit of God is upon you, you may find it difficult to dream, recall your dream, or understand the purpose. I pray that any power that is using strange people to fight you in the dream shall be destroyed. We are going to look at some people’s dreams tonight with their interpretations.

Victoria writes: There’s a man whom I did not accept his proposal in real life, but saw myself getting married to him in a dream. It appears that you are confused about whom to choose to marry. God is telling you not to be confused, He’s trying to tell you that the man you rejected his proposal is your husband to be. You may not like him now, but the man will be there to give you a better life when you get married to him, but you still need to pray more.

Pamela writes: I am a single woman, but I had a dream that I was a widow. You need to pray hard with fasting to cancel every arrangement of the enemy against your future marriage. This dream is a clear indicator that you are going to experience serious attack in your future marriage when you get married. The enemy is trying to make you a widow. The enemy will use you against your husband; it is a manipulative dream. Pray against the powers that want to put you in mental shame.

Grace writes: I had a dream that bad boys came and shot 3 of us, but the bullets could not penetrate my body; the two ladies died. What does it mean? God is trying to warn you to be careful of some friends you move with in life. God is trying to tell you to separate yourself from people. When the bullet could not penetrate your body, it means what the enemy is trying to project into your life will backfire. The truth is that you don’t have good people around you; this dream shows that God’s protection is actively at work in your life. Be prayerful.

Oluchukwu writes: I saw lots of lizards in my room, and I was killing them. What does it mean? It means that you have enemies in the house you are living in. These people are not in love with you. Some of the things you do will attract more anger, hatred, and attacks against you. Alternatively, God may be trying to reveal to you that there is are unclean spirit tormenting your life, thereby causing setbacks in your life. If you killed those lizards, it indicates your war against the wicked; you will surely overcome if you don’t relent in your prayers.

Gbemi writes: I dreamed of buying pepper in the market while I was fasting. The pepper has been prepared by the enemy to abort your prayer and fasting and to terminate the blessing you are trying to get through prayers. The dream signifies the spiritual attacks of the enemy against your life and destiny. Pray against an embarrassing situation.

Toyin writes: I had a dream that one of my pastors vomited on a cloth spread on the floor, and I was cleaning it up. Cleaning it up is to solve the problem at hand. The dream shows that the enemy is draining out the virtues of a person. This is the plan of the enemy to weaken him, afflict him with sickness, and attack his calling and ministry. Pray against sickness, death, and shame.
