DAY 31: A CRY AGAINST THE ARROWS OF THE WICKED

 

Psalm 51:1-2

Have mercy upon me, O God, according to thy lovingkindness: according unto the multitude of thy tender mercies blot out my transgressions.  Wash me throughly from mine iniquity, and cleanse me from my sin.

Psalm 91:5-6

Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night; nor for the arrow that flieth by day; Nor for the pestilence that walketh in darkness; nor for the destruction that wasteth at noonday.

Psalm 35:1-3

Plead my cause, O Lord, with them that strive with me: fight against them that fight against me. Take hold of shield and buckler, and stand up for mine help. Draw out also the spear, and stop the way against them that persecute me: say unto my soul, I am thy salvation.

INTRODUCTION

 

What Are the Arrows of the Wicked?

The Bible speaks about spiritual weapons that enemies use against God’s children. These are not physical arrows you can see with your eyes, but spiritual arrows that fly in the realm of the spirit. They represent curses, evil words spoken over your life, witchcraft activities, charms, and all forms of wickedness sent to destroy what God has given you.

These arrows are not random. They are carefully aimed at specific areas of your life; your destiny, your health, your marriage, your children, your finances, your peace of mind, and your relationship with God. The enemy studies you to know where to strike. He looks for your weak points and sends arrows directly to those areas.

 

How Do These Arrows Operate?

Some arrows are designed to cause sudden disaster. You are doing well today, and tomorrow everything collapses without warning. Other arrows work slowly to keep you stuck in one place. Year after year, you labour and struggle, but nothing changes. You remain exactly where you were five years ago.

These wicked arrows travel through different channels. Some come through evil dreams and nightmares. You wake up troubled, not knowing that something was planted in your spirit while you slept. Other arrows come through people close to you like friends, family members, coworkers especially people you trust who have been used by the enemy without your knowledge.

Arrows can also strike during the vulnerable seasons of your life. When you are grieving, when you are exhausted, when you are discouraged, these are the moments when the enemy releases his arrows because your guard is down and you are not spiritually alert.

There are several arrows in which the enemy uses to trouble people. We have the arrows of sudden death. These are sent to cut people down in their prime. Young men and women who should  have  many  years ahead of them suddenly die without warning. Healthy people collapse and never wake up. These are not natural deaths, they are arrows of premature termination.

We also have the arrows of sickness. Some sicknesses are not ordinary medical conditions. They are spiritual arrows lodged in the body. Doctors run tests and find nothing in their body. Medicine brings no relief to those under satanic torment. The person suffers for years with pain and weakness that has no natural explanation. This is often an arrow of affliction.

We also have the arrows of poverty. Many people work hard, sometimes harder than those who are prosperous, yet they remain perpetually broke. Money comes in and immediately disappears. Debts pile up like garbage. Opportunities slip away at the last minute. This is the arrow of poverty keeping hardworking people in financial bondage despite all their efforts.

We also have the arrows of mental disturbance.  These arrows can turn a peaceful marriage into a battlefield overnight. Couples who once loved each other deeply suddenly become enemies. Small disagreements escalate into major problem.  Children suffers the most as their parents tear each other apart. This is often the work of arrows sent to destroy godly marriages.

We also have arrows of confusion. Some people cannot think clearly or make sound decisions anymore. They choose paths that obviously lead to destruction, yet they cannot see it. They sabotage their own success. They push away their helpers. They make foolish choices that destroy their destiny. This is confusion caused by wicked arrows affecting the mind.

We also have the arrows of failure. Everything this person touches turns to dust. Businesses that should succeed collapse without clear reason. Projects that should work or prosper the person falls apart. Promotions that should come struggle or never arrive. This is the arrow of failure ensuring that good things die before they can produce fruit in your life.

We have arrows shot through dreams. The spiritual realm is very active while we sleep. Many evil arrows are planted through dreams. If you constantly have nightmares, if you see yourself in your old house, if you are always eating in dreams, if strange people visit you in dreams, or gunshot in the dream, these can be channels through which arrows are being fired into your life.

 

Why We Must Cry for Mercy

Here is the truth we must understand: we cannot save ourselves from these arrows by our own power or wisdom. You can be educated, wealthy, connected to important people, and still be destroyed by wicked arrows if God does not intervene. This is why we must cry out for mercy.

The Bible shows us repeatedly that God’s mercy is greater than any judgement or attack against us. When the children of Israel faced destruction from their enemies, it was not their military strength that saved them, but it was God’s mercy.

When King Hezekiah was sick unto death, it was God’s mercy that added fifteen years to his life. When Daniel was thrown into the lion’s den, it was the mercy of God that shut the mouths of those lions.

 

What Happens When You Cry for Mercy

When you genuinely cry out to God for mercy, several powerful things begin to happen:

First, God exposes the plans of your enemies. What was hidden in darkness comes into the light. You suddenly understand why certain things have been happening in your life. You see clearly who is behind your struggles. The schemes of the wicked are revealed, and once you can see them, they lose their power over you.

Second, God confuses the camp of your enemies. Those who gathered to plan your downfall turn against each other. Their arrows miss their target. Their weapons malfunction. Their evil counsel becomes foolishness. What they meant for your harm backfires and destroys them instead.

Third, God’s mercy turns the arrows back to the sender. This is the justice of Heaven. The very arrows they shot at you return to them multiplied. The pit they dug for you becomes their own grave. The trap they set catches them. This is what the Bible means when it says, “Their sword shall enter their own heart, and their bows shall be broken” (Psalm 37:15).

Fourth, God’s mercy heals and restores what the arrows destroyed. Broken health is restored. Dead marriages come back to life. Lost opportunities return. Stolen finances are recovered. Confusion gives way to clarity. Failure turns into success. This is the restorative power of divine mercy.

When you cry out sincerely, God hears you. The Bible promises, “The righteous cry out, and the Lord hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles” (Psalm 34:17). Your cry for mercy moves the heart of God. It activates His compassion. It releases His power on your behalf.

God will have mercy upon you. He will reverse every evil arrow back to the sender. He will frustrate every wicked plan against your life. He will turn your situation around and give you victory over every attack of the enemy.

Remember what the Word of God declares: “No weapon formed against you shall prosper” (Isaiah 54:17). This is not just a nice verse to quote, this is a covenant promise from God to His children. Every arrow shot at you must fail because you belong to God and His mercy covers you.

 

Stand on This Truth

Do not be afraid of the arrows of the wicked. Do not live in fear of what enemies might be planning against you. Instead, live in the confidence that God’s mercy is your shield and His faithfulness is your protection. Keep crying out to Him. Keep pleading the blood of Jesus over your life. Keep standing on His promises.

The same God who delivered Daniel from the lions will deliver you. The same God who protected the three Hebrew boys in the fiery furnace will protect you. The same God who turned Pharaoh’s plans against the Israelites into their greatest victory will turn your enemies’ plans into your testimony.

Cry for mercy, and watch God arise on your behalf. The arrows of the wicked shall not prosper against you in Jesus’ name!

 

CONFESSION

I declare that I am hidden in Christ Jesus, where no weapon of darkness can locate me. No weapon formed against me shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against me in judgment, I shall condemn. This is my heritage as a servant of the Lord.

Every arrow of the wicked fired at my life, my family, my destiny, my health, my finances, my marriage, my children, and my ministry is hereby nullified and rendered powerless by the precious blood of Jesus Christ. I am covered by the shadow of the Almighty God. I dwell in the secret place of the Most High, and I abide under His divine protection.

The angel of the Lord encamps around me and delivers me from every evil plot and satanic assignment. I am untouchable by the powers of darkness. I am unreachable by the arrows of the enemy. I am protected by the blood and surrounded by the fire of God.

Every evil arrow shot against me from the north, south, east, and west, I command you to return to your sender sevenfold. Every wicked archer assigned to my destruction, receive confusion and blindness now. Every altar where arrows are being fashioned against my destiny, be consumed by the fire of the Living God.

I am a child of God, purchased by the blood of Jesus. I walk in divine immunity. I operate under supernatural covering. My life is sealed with the blood. My destiny is secured in God’s purpose. No arrow of death, sickness, poverty, failure, or evil delay can prosper against me.

I declare that I shall not die but live to declare the works of the Lord. My going out and my coming in are blessed. My days are ordained for victory. My future is bright and glorious. Every satanic weapon targeted at me has failed. Every demonic assignment against my breakthrough is terminated.

I am more than a conqueror through Christ who loves me. I am victorious. I am delivered. I am protected. I am untouchable. The blood of Jesus speaks better things over my life than any curse, any arrow, or any evil pronouncement.

From this day forward, I walk in total freedom from every arrow of the wicked. My testimony shall be for the glory of God and the shame of the devil. It is done. It is settled. It is finished in Jesus’ mighty name. Amen!

 

PRAISE AND WORSHIP

Thank God for every evil arrow He has already intercepted on your behalf without your knowledge. Praise Him for dangers you never saw, accidents you never had, sicknesses that never manifested, and evil plans that never succeeded.

Glorify Him for battles He fought for you while you were sleeping, working, traveling, and going about your daily life. Worship the Lord as the God who frustrates the tokens of liars and makes diviners mad.

Celebrate Him as the One who makes the devices of the wicked of no effect. Praise Him as the God who turns the counsel of the ungodly into foolishness and causes every evil plot to backfire upon the plotter.

Lift your voice and declare the faithfulness of God over your life. Testify of His past deliverances.  Remind yourself of times when He came through for you, protected you, and turned your situation around. Let your faith be strengthened as you recount His mighty acts.

WORSHIP DECLARATIONS

As you worship, make these declarations with passion and conviction:

Lord, You are my Shield and my Exceeding Great Reward! You are my Fortress and my High Tower! You are my Strong Deliverer and my Rock of Refuge! You are the God who fights for me while I worship You! You are the God who turns my battles into blessings and my tests into testimonies!

I magnify You for Your protection over my life! I glorify You for every arrow You have deflected! I praise You for covering me when I was unaware of danger! I worship You for angels You have assigned to guard me in all my ways! I exalt You for the blood of Jesus that speaks better things over my life!

You are faithful! You are mighty! You are awesome in battle! You are terrible to my enemies but wonderful to me! You are the God who never fails! You are the God who always delivers! You are the God who specializes in impossibilities!

I celebrate You, Lord! I honour You! I adore You! I worship You in spirit and in truth! Let my praise be a weapon of warfare! Let my worship confuse the camp of my enemies! Let my thanksgiving build a wall of protection around my life!

1. O Lord, by Your mercy, intercept and destroy every arrow of the wicked fired against my life, in the name of Jesus.

2. Father, let every arrow shot at me day by day or by night miss your target, in the name of Jesus.

3. O God of mercy, uproot and extract every evil arrow already lodged in my life, in the name of Jesus.

4. Father, let every arrow programmed against me through words, curses, or bad dreams, be cancelled, in the name of Jesus.

5. O God of mercy, protect my going out and my coming in from every arrow of the wicked, in the name of Jesus.

6. Father, by Your mercy, cancel the arrows of the wicked fired to delay my breakthrough and testimony, in the name of Jesus.

7. Father, by Your mercy, expose the source of hidden attacks and disarm them, in the name of Jesus.

105. Every arrow causing me to labour without results, be extracted and consumed by fire, in the name of Jesus.

138. Every arrow preventing me from fulfilling my God-ordained purpose, be consumed by fire, in the name of Jesus.

139. Every arrow sent to make me die without fulfilling my purpose, miss your target and die, in the name of Jesus.

140. Every arrow keeping my star from shining and my light from manifesting, be broken, in the name of Jesus.

141. Every arrow of family patterns and evil cycles working in my life, be destroyed forever, in the name of Jesus.

142. Every arrow of worry and anxiety programmed to steal my peace, be consumed by fire, in the name of Jesus.

143. Every arrow stealing my joy and replacing it with heaviness, backfire now, in the name of Jesus.

PRAYER ASSIGNMENT

1. Anointing with Oil (5 minutes)

• Take consecrated olive oil in your right hand
• Anoint your forehead, palms, and feet
• As you anoint yourself, declare loudly:

“By the power in the blood of Jesus, I cover myself with divine protection. Every evil arrow assigned against my life, my family, my destiny, and my purpose is hereby nullified. I am anointed, I am untouchable. No weapon formed against me shall prosper.

I am hidden in Christ Jesus where no arrow of darkness can locate me. This oil seals me with divine immunity and supernatural shielding. Let the fire of God surround me and make me unreachable by the kingdom of darkness. In Jesus’ mighty Name, Amen!”

2. Declaration of Psalm 91 (10 minutes) Read Psalm 91 aloud with faith and authority. After reading, personalize it by declaring:

“I dwell in the secret place of the Most High. I abide under the shadow of the Almighty. The Lord is my refuge and my fortress. The terror by night CANNOT locate me. The arrow that flies by day MISSES its target. The pestilence that walks in darkness HAS NO ACCESS to me.

The destruction that wastes at noonday IS POWERLESS over my life. A thousand may fall at my side, ten thousand at my right hand, but it SHALL NOT come near me. I am covered by His feathers. I am protected under His wings. His truth is my shield and buckler. I SHALL NOT be afraid!”

3. Morning Warfare Prayer (5 minutes) Pray aggressively:

• Nullify every arrow prepared for you during the night
• Command every evil plan against your day to scatter
• Declare divine protection over your going out and coming in
• Plead the blood of Jesus over your entire day

DAILY EVENING PROTOCOL (Before Sleep)

1. Evening Anointing (3 minutes)

• Anoint your forehead, chest, and palms with oil
• Declare:

“I seal this day with the blood of Jesus. Every evil arrow fired against me today has failed. Every eye evil assigned to my life has been blinded. As I sleep tonight, I am covered by the blood of Jesus and surrounded by the fire of God.

My dream life is protected. My spirit man is alert. No evil arrow can reach me in the midnight hour. Angels of God encamp around my bed. I rest in perfect peace and divine security. In Jesus name. Amen!”

2. Nighttime Declaration of Psalm 91 (10 minutes) Read Psalm 91 aloud again, then declare:

“Because I have made the Lord my dwelling place, NO EVIL shall befall me. NO PLAGUE shall come near my dwelling. He has given His angels charge over me, to keep me in ALL my ways. In their hands they shall bear me up, lest I dash my foot against a stone. I shall trample upon the lion and the cobra. The young lion and the serpent I shall trample underfoot. Because I have set my love upon Him, He delivers me. He sets me on high because I know His Name. I call upon Him and He answers me. He is WITH ME in trouble. He delivers me and honors me. With long life He satisfies me and shows me His salvation!”

3. Prayer Over Your Sleep (5 minutes)

• Cancel every evil dream and nightmare
• Close every satanic gate that opens at night
• Command every monitoring spirit to lose access to your sleep
• Declare peaceful, protected, prophetic rest
