WHAT IS DREAM?
Dream is a natural way of knowing what takes place in the spirit realm. It is a powerful tool which can be used to determine the future, today and the past. Dreams can be decoded from God, devil and man’s psychology. They tend to occur most often during sleep.
If you want to see supernatural things then dreams, visions and revelations will unveil the pictures to you (Daniel 2:28-29). Our dreams have a way of speaking mysteries of what is likely to happen. How To Know The Sources Of Your Dream
Dream is divided into 3 main categories. These includes:
1 DREAM FROM GOD: – Dream from God always make people normal, peaceful, stable, joyful, reasonable and sensible. Genesis 37:2-3. However, God reveals important things that should make a man great and prosperous in life. This kind of dream is a fulfilling one! It is a dream that is self-explanatory with the help of your emotional feelings. That is, you can easily decode what the Holy Spirit is trying to show in your dreams, visions and revelations.
Dream from God don’t usually need a special interpreter to help you with the meanings. Similarly, dream from the heart of the Holy Spirit gives you assurance that you are going to fulfill your destiny (Jer 29:11). The fact that it is a special dream from God, does not mean it will always be good.
For example, God can show you a particular person or animal that is planning to do you bad. The dreamer might wake up feeling so terrified, confused and fearful about the revelation, however, such a dream always lead to praises and testimony. The wonders of God can reveal good or terrible pictures that should destroy or warn you from being closed to certain people or places.
God is constantly speaking to people. But too often, they miss out on hearing God’s messages through dreams because they seek His guidance only occasionally – usually when they’re going through a crisis or facing a major decision. Then, with a dire need to hear from God, people become confused and frustrated when they did not understand it. They start to wonder how they can’t know when God is speaking to them in dreams.
God will use unusual means to get your attention when necessary, but His goal is for you to understand the symbol of those dreams so that the effect will not get hold of you. Usually, God speaks through what people have described as a “still, small voice” in a dream or trance to encourage or serve as evidence that the dream source is from God.
When there is problem, and the source of the dream is coming from God then He will give you power or solution to overcome the dreams (Gen 37:3-7, Num 12:6, Jer 23:28). It is written that God is not an author of confusion.
God spoke to Joseph through dreams. God spoke to people in dreams in order to instruct and guide them concerning what to do. God also speak to people in order to encourage or warn them (Job 33:14-16). God can use dreams to reveal the plans of your life, He did it in the case of Solomon (1 Kings 3:11-1). God can use dreams to pass serious message across. So be ready!
2. DREAM FROM DEVIL: – Dreams from the devil always makes people confuse, frustrate, unhappy, sorrowful, unstable, frighten, others are pains, anxiety. It is a satanic nightmares that gives tension and makes a person to overwhelm.
God may allow the devil to attack you in order for you to be stronger spiritually just like the case of Job. Since the dream from devil is not always good and peaceful, it is crucial for you to stand up and pray against such evil dreams.
However, the devil’s plan is to steal, kill and destroy your good dreams from manifesting. He does not want you to receive any peaceful or joyful dreams that will lead to your testimonies. By experience, you can learn to respond very quickly in prayers whenever you have nightmares.
When done, it will avert that evil attacks planning to locate you. The devil has used dream as a platform to enter into evil covenant with people in the dreams and lock up people in bondage, and to make sure that people are far away from their breakthroughs.
Dream from the devil seems to be the challenges of many people, they have orgnaize different prayers and fasting programme in order to nullify the effects of their dreams, but their dreams are still keeping them in bondage. When you keep having horrible dreams , you will face battles.
If you want to destroy evil dreams, you have to take the word seriously. Christians are sometimes open to attacks in their dream as a result of sin and bad attitude.
Example of the commonest satanic dreams are, eating in the dream, sex in the dreams, nakedness in the dream, snake dreams, lose of shoes in the dreams, dog dreams, river dreams, picking money off the ground are one of the bad symptoms of dreams from the host of darkness (devil).
3. DREAMS FROM MAN: Dream from man has to do with the state of the mind. This is the dream of man that often occupied people’s mind throughout the day. The man’s flesh has the ability to influence the physiological; state of man (Ecc 5:7). When a dream comes from man, God has nothing with it, neither the devil is behind such dream that emanates from the mind of man (Isa 29:8). For example, if your heart is obsessed with a particular thought, or event before you sleep, it is possible that such thought may be replayed in your dream. A person can sleep with a thought of food and during his sleep, he would begin to eat that same food in the dream
