LOST OPPORTUNITY THROUGH DISTRACTIONS!!

We live in a world where there are several opportunities and distractions. Opportunities to make a good progression and marriage. So many people are what they are today due to their lost opportunities in the past. They had tried all the best they can to look for such opportunity, but unfortunately, they had missed it. Distraction is another tool that is ruling the world today. In the thickness of this distraction, God has been talking to the ears and minds of many people. Lots of people is yet to recognize the voice of GOD. The mistake of Adam and Eve is a good example of this message. Despite the good things God has bestowed upon them in the Garden of Eden, they missed their golden chance, and they were chased out of God’s presence (Gen 3:23). God was talking to them but they were fully distracted by the voice of the world (Satan).

There are lots of people that wants to do things on their way based on their own perception, and judgment, they left God out of the game plan. A woman does not want to marry the man because he is not too sound spiritually. God has been telling her, from confirmations to revelations that the man is going to be her future husband. She said no. She quickly replaced the voice of God to his own perception that such man can’t be her husband. When she pray about it, God was no more involve in such a prayer. She was forced into marriage and ended up marrying the wrong man who later kick her out of the marriage. Why? Because she ignored and disobeyed God’s revelation.

In Numbers 13 and 14, God asked the children of Israel to go and possess the Promised Land, a great opportunity. So they sent 12 spies to check it out and report back to them. Ten of them gave an evil report by stating all they saw physically and concluding that it would be impossible for them to take the land. On the other hand, Caleb and Joshua gave a good report by saying that the problems in the land were no match for the God of Israel. When they revolted against God and His servant Moses, God stepped in and plagued the 10 spies who brought the evil report and they died before the Lord. By the time the congregation realized their error they said they had sinned and were now prepared to go to the Promised Land as earlier instructed by God, but God said it was already too late. Their fate had been sealed! All who left Egypt from age 20 and above were to die in the wilderness without entering the Promise Land. Only the teenagers and children would make it. That is a classical case of missed opportunity in time.‎

So many mistakes in choosing life partner. So many make mistakes in selecting the rights kind of business to do. So many commits errors in finding themselves in pastoral line or wrong associates. So many makes mistakes in talking too much. Out of this, God is directing them the right course to follow on the pathway of their destiny. But because they are clouded by their own physical judgement and benefits, they fell into the wrong side.‎

There is a punishment when you missed your opportunities. There is a punishment when you do not allow God to lead you before taking your selfish decision. Distraction is when you are not abiding by what God is telling you concerning that situation. The reason many people have lost their opportunity is because they did not know that was their lifetime opportunity. So it becomes so hard to adjust themselves in life. When you loss your chances, it was due to the fact that you are ignorant. They went to different places for them to recover their lost opportunity in marriage, in business, in finances, in career, so what happened from their search for miracles? they became more frustrated and discouraged, or even confused by the bad responses they got from the mouth of those strange people.‎

No level of tears could turn the hands of the clock backwards. One lesson here is that the time you perform any assignment for God is very crucial to Him. If God asks you to do something, He also has the time that is right for you to do it. If you choose to do it at a time other than His time, it may not have the same desired impact or the missed opportunities might become irrecoverable or recovering such opportunities might come at a high cost. Whatever God instructs you to do, be in a hurry to do it except He instruct you otherwise. Remember, some opportunities can never be regained back. So think well before taking decisions.

Is the Spirit urging you to pray? Pray now! Be honest, is the Spirit of God urging you to marry the man or woman at this time? Is the Spirit of God telling you to abort your babies? Is the Spirit of God urging you to live a waywad life? Is the spirit urging you to fornicate in exchange of money and gifts? Is the spirit of God asking you to keep secrets from your spouse or family? Please if it is not God, suspend all you are doing and obey, if not, by the time you think you are doing the right thing, and by the time you say nobody owns your life except you, it might be too late beloveth. REPENT! Some people are sowing their seeds too late. Some prayers and fasting are done too late. Some acts of obedience are coming rather too late. Many people are surrendering too late. Some people choose their life partner too late. Don’t be a victim of opportunities lost in time! If you follow divine timing, you will never do anything too late. Distraction is a very terrible thing! A lost opportunity could be a last warning!

Brethren, have you lost your opportunity in the past? This was the case of a woman with the issue of blood. She lost everything – health, joy, wealth and glory. But the good news is that she got all she lost by touching the helms of garment of Jesus (Mark 5:25-34). I decree all your lost opportunities, swallowed by the distraction of the world shall be restored, in Jesus name.‎ Have you given your life to Christ today? If your answer is no, kindly ask God to forgive you and have mercy on you for missing the opportunities He has been asking you to take. #EvangelistJoshua
