You are welcome to our 2-day Marathon fasting and prayers that will take place on the 26th Saturday  to 27th Sunday, May 2018. It is 48 hours because, during this fasting you are not permitted to eat nor drink water until the end of the fasting, all to the glory of God.

This is a divine instruction., and there are many blessings attached to those who completed it successfully. Fasting is one of the ways of presenting our problems to the Almighty God for quick intervention. The time to start this fasting is 12:00 am on Saturday Midnight to 11:59 am Midnight, a night preceding Monday.

Please note: We advised pregnant women, nursing mothers, sick people to stay away completely from this unusual spiritual exercise. If you notice that you have, for example, Ulcer and other kind of strange illness, do not force yourself |study show that you will be allergic to food or water|.

There will be troubled when you start this exercise and give up in the process. Its better not to take it at all if you think you cant take it for 2 days at a stretch. Nevertheless, pray fervently and let God direct you whether to participate in it or not.

Psalm 86:5, ”For thou, Lord, art good, and ready to forgive; and plenteous in mercy unto all them that call upon thee.”

Hebrews 4:16, ”Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.”

Matthew 18:21-22, ”Then came Peter to him, and said, Lord, how oft shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? till seven times?” Jesus saith unto him, I say not unto thee, Until seven times: but, Until seventy times seven.”

Dealing With Sin Through God’s Mercy And Forgiveness

The cry of our Lord Jesus towards sinners is a very serious issue. The consequence of sin is eternal punishment. When the Lord told us to seek ye first the kingdom of God, it was for a purpose and that purpose is to allow us value the works of God. Some people think that the grace of God in our lives has covered our sins. A big lie! These are demonic thoughts to cause confusion and destruction in this endtime battles.

Do you struggle to live a Christian life? Do you ever look at the Scriptures and Jesus Christ principles and see that your life just doesn’t match? Do you ever wonder if the Christian life can really be beneficial to you? Do ever feel like you have disappointed God? Do you have any habits and sins that you have tried earnestly over and over again to overcome and you just felt that you cannot do it? Think no further, the mercy and God’s forgiveness can save you from this shame.

Sincerely speaking, if we can deal with our sins headon then we will not have any problems.  All through the life of Jesus, it was to set an example for living a righteous life. To live in a life of sin is easy, but to run away is hard.

The Bible also explained to us that without holiness, no man can see the Lord. This means that, no matter your status, title, wealth etc, if you are not broken or holy, all your efforts towards heavenly things will  be in vain.  Have you ever asked yourself this pertinent question? If I die today, where am I going to spend my eternity, heaven or hell?

The enemy wants to rob you of your salvation, your peace, your joy, your righteousness, your faith, your future, your family, your finances. If you are not a born again child of God, he wants you to stay that way and be comfortable with it. If he can prevent you from getting to Jesus before death, he has succeeded in his ultimate plan to kill you. He has some long range plans for people.

The mercy of God is so unique and powerful. That is why the Lord Jesus is expecting us  as children of God to love and care for others. However, He has warned us to flee away from sin, and also instructed us to repent and confess our sins. Without this, there will be no mercy and forgiveness.

For example, if you look critically at the problem of many today, you will discover that they have  strong root or connection with sin not even the devil as widely said.

Devil cannot stay in the life of a righteous person and begin to break his seed of fruitfulness, never.  Why? Because it would make him so uncomfortable to operate. The Bible says, The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much..

There is no way sinners can enter the kingdom of God and receive any divine assistance or forgiveness. To some people, it is hard for them to say bye bye to sin and its demonic attachment. But we find out that the more they are trying to separate themselves from such sin, the more reasons they will go back to it

In addition to this, you will also notice that God has left some people long time ago just because of their sins or parental disobedience and stubbornness to repent from their traditional sins. So what is left in them is the shadow of themselves. Can an unforgiving person receive forgiveness from God? The answer is clearly found in the book of Matthew  6:14.

It is sad to see some Christians after taking time to embrace the principle of our Lord Jesus, within a short period of time, you ‘ll see them going back to that old sin again and even upgrade it more due to the level of disappointments or frustrations they have faced with people.

This careless act often angers God and can put a person under severe divine punishment while on earth. It is the mercy of God that can break the curse upon a person. The mercy of God will not only open your heaven, but will give you the privilege of His mercies.

In His wisdom, God often allow us to go through a series of challenges that could make us to believe God has hidden his face from us. Such experiences are necessary for our spiritual growth and maturity. The fact that the devil is dealing with you through some sin or bad dreams does not mean that God has not shown you mercy.

Colossians 3:13, ”Forbearing one another, and forgiving one another, if any man have a quarrel against any: even as Christ forgave you, so also [do] ye.”

The relationship between God’s mercy and forgiveness  is a delicate balance. If your life misses this balance, you will struggle throughout your spiritual walk and destiny. If  you seek more after flesh or material things more than God Himself, you will not receive his blessing.

There are many negative symptoms that can prevent a person from pertaining in the mercy of God. They are as follows:  Lies, murderer, abortion of babies/pregnancy, curses, evil covenant, professional stealing, false prophecy, masturbation, indecent dressing, unforgiveness, hatred, false marriage etc.

The purpose of this  marathon fasting is nothing but to cry out to God for total transformation of our mind and to be spiritually-minded (Romans 8:6-10]. No wonder the Bible put it clearly this way:

Galatians 5:17-21, ” For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would. But if ye be led of the Spirit, ye are not under the law. Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are [these]; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told [you] in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.”

James 1:2-4, ”My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations; Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience. But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing.”

Then how do you know that God has shown you mercy?

• When your major problems are solved.
• When you are no longer committing a particular sin.
• When all hopes are restored.
• When there is full recovery in your life.
• When God has finally answered your prayers.
• When difficult things become so easy.

Step to stay out of sin

• Surrender your life to Christ and be His true friend.
• Be ready to fight sin to the core and be conscious of your spiritual life.
• Ask for the fresh fire of the Holy Ghost.
• Speak in tongues if necessary to activate your spiritual gift.

Seven Things To Avoid During This Fasting

God has given us the ability to resist sin. The followings are the things you should try and avoid in this fasting and prayers Galatians 5:19-21. These includes:

1. Fighting.
2. Stealing.
3. Provocative Anger.
4. Eating little food and drinking little water.
5. Indecent dressing.
6. Sexual immorality
7. “And when you fast, don’t make it obvious, as the hypocrites do, for they try to look miserable and disheveled so people will admire them for their fasting. I tell you the truth, that is the only reward they will ever get. Matthew 6:16.NLT.

SELF-DECLARATION

Lord Jesus, I come before you in the name of Jesus. I acknowledge that I’m a sinner and also know that I have sinned against you and humanity.

O Lord, have mercy upon me and forgive me of all my sins, in the name of Jesus. Let your precious blood shed on the Cross of Calvary save me from divine punishment of sin.

O Lord, I am determined to surrender everything to you. As from today, let your fear grip my heart and make a whole completely. I ask for Your grace to hate sin and reject the properties of the works of darkness in my possession, in the name of Jesus.

You said in your Word that sin is an abomination unto you. So therefore I confess from my sins and repent from it. If Your mercy and love has departed from me on the day I committed this sin, Father, help me to overcome the temptation of sin in my life.

Help me to be broken within and without and help me to focus first of your kingdom and his righteousness. I do not want to be a Christian absent of your divine power and protection. Create a clean heart in me and make me a pathway of your mercy.

Father, if my names have been taken out from the book of life, by your mercy, write my names in the great book of life. Help me O Lord not to repeat same sin again. So help me God, in Jesus name. AMEN!!!

Congratulations for taking this strong declaration with me!!! The host of heaven are rejoicing over your step of faith by confessing your sins.

Ensure that you do not go back to your old way of life so that anger of God will not be brutal on you. God is ready to show you mercy but promise not to disappoint and frustrate the power of His mercy and forgiveness in your life.

Matthew 17:21, ”Howbeit this kind goeth not out but by prayer and fasting.”

Matthew 4:1-11, ” Then was Jesus led up of the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted of the devil. And when he had fasted forty days and forty nights, he was afterward an hungred. Morning Session

1. Mercy of God open my heavens, in the name of Jesus.
2. Let the blood of Jesus cleanse all my sins away, in the name of Jesus.
3. Romans 10:10, Lord, I confess my sins (name them) and bring repentance before You now, in the name of Jesus.
4. I render every ancestral sin fighting against my salvation impotent, in Jesus name.
5. Father, forgive me for the sin that I have committed consciously or unconsciously, in the name of Jesus.
6. Father, the sin that my mouth has committed since I was born, forgive me with the power of your mercy, in the name of Jesus.
7. You spirit of iniquity and stubbornness, get out of my blood system, in the name of Jesus.
8. Father, give me the grace not to fall short into sins again, in the name of Jesus.
9. If there is anything in me or in my possession currently that is not of God, I don’t want it anymore, depart by the blood of Jesus, in the name of Jesus.

14. Through the blood of Jesus, I surrender everything to God, in the name of Jesus.
15. Every curse of secret sin rooted in my life and destiny, be broken, and flushed out completely by the blood of JESUS.
16. The sin of fornication, out of my life and destiny, in the name of JESUS.

18. Whatever belongs to the devil: sexual immorality, impurity, lust, evil desires and greed, be declared dead in my life, in the name of Jesus.

20. I erase by the blood of Jesus, all the marks of satanic punishment on the surface of my destiny, in Jesus name.
21. Oh God of mercy I have come to you in my shame, have mercy on me and remove my garment of shame In Jesus name.
22. You sin of rebellion/pride/lust, burning in me from time to time, die now. I receive mercy now by the blood of Jesus.
23. Lord Jesus, I have sinned against you by destroying my body in sin of fornication and adultery, may your mercy wipe away my sinful life In Jesus name.
24. Father break every yoke of satanic stronghold upon my life by your hands of mercy In Jesus name.
25. Father visit the foundation of my life that every contrary spirit working against me from my foundation be destroyed by your mercy, in Jesus name.
26. Father by your mercy, let every satanic stagnancy that has worked against my greatness in life, be destroyed by your mercy, in the name of Jesus.

1. Jesus thou son of David have mercy upon my marriage,  in Jesus name.

3. O God, let you mercy pardon my sin, in the name of Jesus.
4. Father, deliver me from the power of sin and grant me the grace to overcome them, in the name of Jesus.
5. Father by your power visit my entire body once again, in the name of Jesus.
6. Lord as I take this fasting, let your mercy cast away every problems that have confronted me in life, in Jesus name.
7. Whatever is confronting the word of God in my life, today I speak to you begin to work for my glory, in the name of Jesus.
8. Father give me the needed grace and power to cry unto you for a change of unprofitable lifestyle, in Jesus name.
9. Anything that belongs to me that the enemies have taken legally, mercy of God, bring it to me, in Jesus name.

Tempted to eat or drink water at this stage could destroy your fasting labour. Think deeply!

Night Session

Scripture to read: Genesis 32:24-28.

1. By the mercy of God, let there be a way for me in the wilderness, in Jesus name.
2. Every power robbing me of the mercy and favour of God, your time is over, release me and die‎, in Jesus name (Pray it well).
3. My Father, show me the secret of my problem, in the name of Jesus.
4. Father, let the sin of my parents depart from me, in the name of Jesus.
5. I am rising up, no power shall pull me down, in the name of Jesus.
6. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness. Purify me O Lord.

8. Any power that says prayers and fasting cannot solve my problems, you are a big liar, whether you like it or not, my testimony has already started, in Jesus name.

1. Holy Spirit intervene in my situation, in the name of Jesus.
2. God of wonders, manifest the power of your forgiveness upon my life, in the name of Jesus.
3. Father, let the heavens declare your mercy upon my situation, in the name of Jesus.
4. Father, help me to obedient to your words, and instructions, in the name of Jesus.
5. Father, help me to bear the Cross Christ lays upon me, in the name of Jesus.
6. Jesus Christ, the Son of the Living God, revisit my requests today, in Jesus name.
7. God will bless them that bless me and curse them that curse me this year, in the name of Jesus.
8. Let every sin committed in my relationship with ex, clear away for God’s mercy, in Jesus name.
9. I receive the grace to always live in the will of God and please heaven first, in the name of Jesus.
10. O God my Father, promote me beyond my wildest imagination, in the name of Jesus.

19. As the Lord lives, I shall plant and reap wonderful harvest in Jesus name.
20. By your help, the enemies will not mess up my destiny in Jesus name.
21. Any area of my life following wrong directions, I command you, adjust and be normalized in Jesus name.
22. Every area of my life, be withdrawn from any evil control in Jesus name.
23. O God without You, I am nothing. Help me to love you, fear you and keep your commandment, in the name of Jesus.
24. Psalm 32:5, ”I acknowledge my sin unto thee, and mine iniquity have I not hid. I said, I will confess my transgressions unto the Lord; and thou forgavest the iniquity of my sin. Selah.”
25. Every inherited sin tormenting me with punishment of the sins of my parents and ancestors, be erased by the blood of Jesus, in Jesus name.
26. Psalm 51:2, Wash me throughly from mine iniquity, and cleanse me from my sin.
27. Every filthiness or dirtiness in my spiritual eyes, be washed off by the blood of Jesus.
28. I release my life from every collective covenant of sudden death in Jesus name.

Bathing gives you strength during this kind of fasting! Take a shower to regain your inner strength.

Afternoon Session

Scripture to read: Philippians 3:7-11.

1. Every evil dedication to the spirit of satanic bondage, be destroyed in Jesus name.
2. Blood of Jesus, open up the good gates shut against me, in the name of Jesus.
3. Blood of Jesus, restructure my foundation, in the name of Jesus.
4. Let every lost opportunity begin to come my way this year, in the name of Jesus.
5. O! Lord prevent me and my family from making any costly mistakes that will lead to sorrow and tragedy in Jesus name.
6. The mercy of  God that ends misery, locate me and my children, in the name of Jesus.
7. Every power that wants me to labour in prayers in vain, be wasted by fire, in Jesus name.
8. Merciful God, I confess the sins of my parents and ancestors, I plead that you do not use them against me, in the name of Jesus.
9. I break the hold and power of the foundational arrows upon my life, in the name of Jesus.
10. O God arise, do something new and wonderful in my life, in the name of Jesus.
11. Perfect all that concerns me O Lord, in the name of Jesus.
12. Deliver me O Lord from the spirit of unforgiveness, in the name of Jesus.
13. O Heaven! Mail to my life, letters of Divine Help in Jesus name.
14. Any power in my foundation that stands as a hindrance to God’s favour in my life; scatter in the name of Jesus.
15. O Lord, grant me speed to recover all my losses, in the name of Jesus.
16. Father, I decrease for Christ to increase in me, in the name of Jesus.
17. Lord let your mercy and love silence every opposition in my life in the name of Jesus.
18. Every strongman setting me for eternal punishment, be destroyed by fire, in the name of Jesus.
19. I receive the anointing to finish well and strong, in the name of Jesus.
20. Blood of Jesus destroy the weapons of the enemy now, in the name of Jesus.
21. Any power assigned to make me die in my problem; die in the name of Jesus.
22. Father, turn the strength of my enemies to weakness, in Jesus name.
23. Every cloud of confusion hanging over my destiny; fade away by fire, in Jesus name.
24. I shall excel. No power shall demote me, in the name of Jesus.
25. Every astral projection into my dream life causing  defilement; be arrested by fire in Jesus name.
26. Blood of JESUS and loose myself from every collective evil covenant curse, in the name of Jesus.
27. Father have respect for my giving and use it to open great doors for me, in the name of Jesus.
28. Father, let me always have heaven attention, in the name of Jesus.

Be very vigilant here. Satan may want to attack you to test the kind of arrows that will destroy the glory of your fasting and prayers.

Night Session

Scripture to read: 1 Samuel 2:12-17.

Turn the following Bible verses into prayers.

1. 2 Samuel 24:14, ”And David said unto Gad, I am in a great strait: let us fall now into the hand of the Lord; for his mercies are great: and let me not fall into the hand of man.”
2. Psalm 51:1-2, ”Have mercy upon me, O God, according to thy lovingkindness: according unto the multitude of thy tender mercies blot out my transgressions. Wash me throughly from mine iniquity, and cleanse me from my sin.”
3. Psalm 25:6-7, ”Remember, O Lord, thy tender mercies and thy lovingkindnesses; for they have been ever of old. Remember not the sins of my youth, nor my transgressions: according to thy mercy remember thou me for thy goodness’ sake, O Lord.”
4. Psalm 90:17 , ”And let the beauty of the Lord our God be upon us: and establish thou the work of our hands upon us; yea, the work of our hands establish thou it.”
5. Ephesians 5:11-12, ”And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them. For it is a shame even to speak of those things which are done of them in secret.”
6. Any power I don’t know that is monitoring me about, be terminated by fire, in Jesus name.
7. Father, let my enemies be clothed with double shame and frustration, in Jesus name.
8. O Lord, open my spiritual eyes to see your plan for my life, in the name of Jesus.

14. Satanic dreams placing embargo and siege on my work, be cancelled, in the name of Jesus.
15. I terminate by fire, every journey to vanity, in the name of Jesus.
16. Every demon fighting against my destiny, I anoint them to kill themselves, in the name of Jesus.
17. O God, turn the counsel of evil counselors against me to foolishness, in the name of Jesus.
18. I come against every programme of satan against me, in the name of Jesus.
19. I overcome the spirit of impatient and procrastination by the blood of Jesus, in Jesus name.
20. Every evil imagination of sorrow affecting the plans of God for my life, expire, in the name of Jesus.
21. I close all doors opened for the enemy to afflict my life and family. By your mercy O Lord, forgive me, restore me and heal me of all physical and spiritual challenges in the name of Jesus.
22. Let the mark of the blood of Jesus wipe off every mark of delay on my body……………*mention others, in the name of Jesus.
23. Blood of Jesus swallow every serpent and scorpion assigned to swallow my hopes, in the name of Jesus.
24. O God my Father, I lay my marital plans, financial woes at your feet, guide and me lead through to good success, in the name of Jesus.
25. Prophecy good things into your life for 10 minutes.
26. Any power that wants to hinder my help from getting to me, die, in the name of Jesus.
27. Inherited foundational problem that troubled my life before marriage and is still troubling my life and marriage, die by fire, in Jesus name.
28. You inherited foundational battle, hear the word of the Lord, leave me and my children alone and die, in the name of Jesus.
