HOT MIDNIGHT PRAYER POINTS

Midnight prayer is one of the greatest ways to undo the works of the wicked. The consistency of prayers facilitate our access to continuous guidance and protection. It is the platform for forbidding the enemy from having his way. Prayer facilitates open heavens (Luke 3:21). When the heavens have opened for you, no door can close against you.

We pray at midnight so that anything that has been stolen from any child of God can be abundantly restored. We pray so that the Lord will open the doors of favour and enlargement to us. We pray so that the roots of stubborn afflictions in our lives will dry up and die.

When we form the habit of praying all the time as the Bible admonishes us, then we get to know God the more and we are assure of victory. In 2 Thessalonians 5: 17 says, “Pray without ceasing.” That is to say, do not stop praying, including midnight prayers.  It may be easy for many to pray during the day but not at night.

The night hour is the period most human beings are not alert (Exodus 12:29). The destroyer visited Egypt at night. Laban changed Jacob’s wife at night – (Genesis 29:23 – 29). The midnight hour accommodates many powers that are numerous than the powers of the day.

The Psalmist said, “Thou shall not be afraid for the terror by night; nor for the arrow that fly by day. Nor for the pestilence that walked in darkness; nor for the destruction that wasted at noon day” (Psalm 91:5-6). Terror and pestilence are some of the powers of the night that one must confront and conquer.

I decree by the power in the name of Jesus, enemy altars, enemy idols and shrines that have refused your glory from rising and shining, let fire consume them today, in the name of Jesus (Judges 6:25-26).

• Arrows that will make people shake their heads in pity for me, go back to your senders, in the name of Jesus.
