Prayer To Cancel Hardship, Suffering And Loss In My Marriage

Malachi 2:13-16,  ”And this have ye done again, covering the altar of the Lord with tears, with weeping, and with crying out, insomuch that he regardeth not the offering any more, or receiveth it with good will at your hand. Yet ye say, Wherefore? Because the Lord hath been witness between thee and the wife of thy youth, against whom thou hast dealt treacherously: yet is she thy companion, and the wife of thy covenant. Hebrews 13:4  (NIV), ”Marriage should be honored by all, and the marriage bed kept pure, for God will judge the adulterer and all the sexually immoral.”

Amos 3:3  (NIV), ”Do two walk together unless they have agreed to do so?”

Whether you like it or not, there are tough challenges in marriage. These challenges are not met to cause breakups but to build husband and wife together, and to create the need to be more closer to God, in the atmosphere of love.

Sometimes, if you are experiencing a series of troubles in your home does not mean you marry a stranger or both of you are not compatible. Hardship or challenge may come in the areas of children, money, etc, the Bible says, do not fear or give up in the process. Only God has a final say!

Marriage is an institution between husband and wife. And God is the founder of marriage.  It is a covenant union of a man and a woman – the two becoming one flesh. He has commanded us in His word to be fruitful, multiply and replenish the earth. It has never be in God’s agenda for you to marry into problems (Jer 29:11).

God made man. He knew man needed a companion and support, so He said to Himself: It is not good that man should be alone; I will make a helper fit for him (Genesis 2:18).

The wisdom and power has been given to us to become victorious in our marriages. However, you must able to fight back every setback in marriage. Marriage is not a bad institute, but very sweet and wonderful. To cancel the yoke of hardship in a marriage full of problems then it takes prayers and fasting.

The moment you marry an unbeliever, a person who does not believe in God, go to church or pray can be a tool in the hand of the devil. It may not be too long when devil will start to use your partner against you, and marriage.

However, if you had made mistake in marrying the wrong man or woman, and you know that you marry him primarily because of his wealth,  you will surely face attacks and the next agenda is marital problem.

Being in a Christian marriage where there is absent of love, attention and understanding between husband and wife can be devastating and worrisome. Finding ways to divorce your partner because of one big hardship in the home is not a welcome development. Instead, you need to ask for God’s direction and wisdom.

God is always interested in a marriage that is properly set up. For example, if your marriage is not done properly, that is, no payment of bride pride, no church marriage,  it could also constitute your present problem and the greatest threat it will caused is: financial loss and permanent stagnation.

We should not allow the statement of ”It doesn’t matter” God sees our heart ” to overshadow us when the Bible clearly says, Psalm 7:14, ”Behold, he travaileth with iniquity, and hath conceived mischief, and brought forth falsehood. ” When little thing matters so much to God;

Galatians 5:17, ” For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would.”
