EJOM DAILY DEVOTIONAL: September 16, 2026 – Back To Sender Prayer

Beloved, back-to-sender prayer is ultimately a prayer for divine protection, reversal, judgement, and the frustration of evil. It is a warfare prayer declaring that whatever God has not ordained for your life will not prosper against you.

Back-to-sender prayer is a prayer to reject and return the arrows of wickedness directed against your life. It is a prayer of spiritual resistance, declaring that every burden, affliction, evil package, satanic manipulation, and destructive assignment directed against you will not find a resting place in your life.

According to this understanding of spiritual warfare, you are saying, “I refuse to become the final destination of this evil. I reject it, I resist it, and I place the entire battle under the judgment of God.”

You are asking the Lord to overturn the work of darkness and allow the consequences of wickedness to fall upon the wicked operation itself.

Isaiah 54:17 says, “No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgement thou shalt condemn.”

Notice that the Bible does not say weapons will never be formed. It says they will not prosper. The enemy may prepare the weapon, organise the attack and release the arrow, but God has already declared that it will fail.

There is something every serious believer must understand about spiritual warfare: warfare requires resistance. James 4:7 says, “Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.”

The Bible does not say entertain the devil; it says resist him. 1 Peter 5:8–9 says, “Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour: Whom resist stedfast in the faith.”

There is a spiritual resistance expected from every believer. James 4:7 says, “Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.” Notice the two responsibilities in that scripture: submission to God and resistance against the devil.

You cannot live in rebellion against God and expect to exercise spiritual authority effectively. At the same time, submission to God does not mean remaining passive when the powers of darkness attack you.

You submit yourself to God, and from that position of obedience, you resist the enemy. The enemy understands the power of spiritual arrows. Psalm 91:5 speaks about “the arrow that flieth by day.”

An arrow is not normally released without direction or purpose; it is aimed toward a target in mind. It may be an arrow of sickness, loss, anger, confusion, disappointment, shame, poverty, marital trouble, untimely death or repeated failure.

The enemy does not fire arrows because he wants them to decorate your life; he wants them to accomplish an assignment. An arrow of fear wants you to become afraid. An arrow of discouragement wants you to surrender.

An arrow of rejection wants you to believe that nobody will accept you. An arrow of shame wants to bring humiliation. An arrow of confusion wants to weaken your ability to make sound decisions.

An arrow of repeated failure wants you to conclude that success is impossible. But hear me today: the enemy may have an intention, but Jesus Christ has the final authority. Isaiah 54:17 declares, “No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper.”

The scripture does not say that a weapon will never be formed against you. It says the weapon shall not prosper. That means the existence of an attack does not guarantee the success of the attack.

A believer who understands spiritual warfare does not surrender his mind to fear whenever trouble appears. He rises in faith, takes the Word of God, prays and stands his ground.

When fear says, “Something terrible is about to happen,” faith responds with the promises of God. When discouragement says, “Give up,” faith says, “I will continue fight, hoping, or praying.”

When a troubling dream attempts to leave you terrified, you rise and declare that whatever is contrary to the purpose of God will not prosper in your life.

Psalm 64:7 says, “But God shall shoot at them with an arrow; suddenly shall they be wounded.” This scripture reminds us that God is not helpless when wickedness rises against His people.

Darkness may have its weapons, but heaven is not without an answer. The enemy may devise his plans, but God remains the ultimate Judge and Defender of His children.

Beloved, God is neither weak nor helpless. He possesses all power to defend His people, frustrate every wicked counsel and overturn satanic agendas. This is why back-to-sender prayer should not come from panic but from a prepared heart.

Back-to-sender prayer spiritually immunises you against the attacks of wickedness. Immunisation prevents an invading substance from controlling the body.

In the same way, a believer who lives in Christ, walks in obedience and exercises spiritual authority refuses to allow the works of darkness to settle in his life. The attack may be released, but it will find no resting place.

A soldier does not march onto a battlefield empty handed. He carries his weapon, he wears his armour, and he is fully trained or commanded to fire back the moment the enemy releases fire upon him.

Ephesians 6:11 tells us plainly to put on the whole armour of God, that we may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. Notice the word armour; armour is not decoration, it is combat equipment, designed for confrontation, not for passive suffering.

If a soldier is given a rifle, boots, a helmet, and a shield, and he refuses to use any of it when the enemy advances, what happens next is not survival, it is defeat. And that is exactly what happens to many believers today who refuse to fire back spiritually.

The enemy begins to rule in the affairs of their lives. He begins to paralyze their faith, steal their peace, manipulate their relationships, and overwhelm every area of their existence, simply because the weapon that was given to them was left unused in the armoury while the battle raged outside.

The weapons of Christian warfare are not insults, physical violence, threats, revenge, or harassment. 2 Corinthians 10:4 says, “For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds.”

Therefore, when I say fire back, I am speaking about spiritual resistance. Fire back with prayer. Fire back with the Word of God. Fire back with faith. Fire back with righteousness. Fire back with fasting when appropriate. Fire back by refusing to surrender your mind to fear.

Fire back by standing upon God’s promises. Fire back by exposing lies with truth. Fire back by taking responsible action when evil appears physically.

The Christian’s ammunition is spiritual; the Christian’s battlefield must never become an excuse for fleshly retaliation.

Beloved, when darkness is resisted, it cannot simply be allowed to dictate the direction of your life. Imagine someone speaking a curse over you and saying, “You will never prosper.” You have no obligation to accept that statement as the final word over your life.

Your spiritual response is not to start exchanging insults with the person. Your response is to reject the curse and stand upon the Word of God. You can declare, “That word shall not become my portion.

Every word contrary to the purpose of God for my life shall fall powerless. I belong to Jesus Christ, and my future is in the hands of God.”

That is how a believer should respond. What you did is simple: You answer darkness with light, curses with the Word, fear with faith, and hostility with spiritual authority.

Consider this: if someone insults you or places a curse upon you, remaining silent in fear may leave your heart troubled. Yet responding with another physical insult will only create a fleshly quarrel.

The correct response is neither fear nor abusive retaliation. Your answer should come from the Word of God: “Every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn” (Isaiah 54:17).

1 Peter 3:9 says, “Not rendering evil for evil, or railing for railing: but contrariwise blessing.”Returning insults may satisfy the flesh for a moment, but it can drag you into the same behaviour you are confronting.

You have a right to reject evil words spoken against you. You have a right to cancel curses and refuse the expectations of wickedness. However, your warfare should remain spiritual. Instead of insulting the person, condemn the evil pronouncement.

Instead of fighting physically, enter your prayer altar. Instead of allowing bitterness to control you, place the matter before the righteous Judge.

Spiritual warfare is more powerful when your mouth remains under the government of Christ. You can reject every evil word spoken against you without becoming abusive yourself.

The battle is not won because you shouted the loudest at another human being; the battle is won when evil fails to control your destiny and also fails to corrupt your character.

Jesus said in Luke 6:28, “Bless them that curse you, and pray for them which despitefully use you.” This command does not prevent you from rejecting the curse.

You can pray for the salvation of the person while commanding every evil word spoken against you to become powerless. You can forgive the individual while resisting the spirit behind the attack.

Forgiveness protects your heart; spiritual warfare protects your territory from danger. When the enemy digs a pit for you, his intention is to destroy you.

Once God reveals the pit, wisdom demands that you avoid it and prayer demands that you neutralise its purpose.

You are not expected to see danger and walk carelessly into it. Ask God for discernment, take wise precautions and pray for every evil plan to collapse and perish by fire.

I speak prophetically to someone reading this devotional: the evil expectation of the wicked concerning you shall not become your conclusion. The pit shall not become your grave. The accusation shall not become your identity.

The weapon shall not prosper. The conspiracy shall not write the final chapter of your story. The God who preserved Daniel, remembered Mordecai, lifted Joseph and made a road through the Red Sea is still able to preserve His children today, in the name of Jesus.

Another powerful lesson comes from Numbers 23:23: “Surely there is no enchantment against Jacob, neither is there any divination against Israel.” Balak hired Balaam because he wanted Israel cursed.

Balaam discovered that he could not simply override God’s blessing upon the people. Numbers 23:8 records his question: “How shall I curse, whom God hath not cursed? or how shall I defy, whom the LORD hath not defied?”

This should strengthen the believer’s confidence. Another person’s hostility is not greater than God’s authority. Your security is ultimately rooted in your relationship with God, not in your ability to identify every person who may dislike you.

There are traps God can expose. There are arrows God can neutralize. There are conspiracies God can scatter. There are lies God can uncover. There are doors God can reopen. There are also situations God can reverse immediately.

You must also understand that sometimes the greatest “back to sender” victory is not that something terrible must happens to another person. But the greatest victory is that what they intended against you completely fails.

They expected you to collapse, but you remained standing. They expected the accusation to destroy you, but the truth prevailed. They expected the setback to finish you, but you recovered.

They expected you to become bitter, but you became wiser. They expected the door to remain closed, but God opened another one.

Romans 12:21 says, “Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good.” Do not allow another person’s wickedness to determine the condition of your heart.

You can resist evil without becoming hateful. You can establish boundaries without carrying bitterness. You can seek justice without seeking revenge. You can pray warfare prayers without turning every human being around you into an enemy.

Beloved, whatever God has not planted in your life does not have to remain there. Whatever weapon has been fashioned against your peace, family, health, career, business, marriage, children or calling must bow to the authority of God.

Your prayer today should be: “Father, whatever evil has been designed against me, let it fail. Whatever belongs to darkness, let it return empty and powerless. Let no evil assignment find fulfilment in my life. Preserve me, defend me and establish Your purpose concerning me.”

You are not praying because you are afraid of the enemy. You are praying because you believe in the authority and protection of God.

The weapon may be planned against you, but it shall not prosper. The trap may be prepared, but you do not have to fall into it. The evil counsel may be spoken, but it does not have the final word. God has the final word over your life.

God specialises in divine reversal. He can turn an evil verdict into a testimony. He can make the trap prepared for you expose the people who prepared it.

He can use the conspiracy meant to bury your destiny as a platform for your promotion. This is why back-to-sender prayer must be prayed with faith rather than fear.

A person may plan wickedness against another person, the person would think their wickedness will stop or destroy the person, but when the person is righteous and prayerful,  what happens?

God will arise, and frustrate the evil person and disappoint them. The believer therefore has biblical grounds to ask God to frustrate wicked devices and preserve the innocent from the trap prepared against them.

Beloved, spiritual warfare should never turn Christians into hostile people. Ephesians 6:12 settles the matter: “For we wrestle not against flesh and blood.” Your neighbour is flesh and blood. Your colleague is flesh and blood. Your relative is flesh and blood.

Your spouse is flesh and blood. Your mother-in-law is flesh and blood. Your pastor is flesh and blood. Your former friend is flesh and blood. This is why suspicion must never become the foundation of warfare prayer.

A troubling dream does not automatically prove that the person seen in the dream is physically responsible for your problem. A prophecy should not become permission to attack somebody.

Let God judge what you cannot see while you deal responsibly with what can actually be established. Back-to-sender prayer gives no permission to become hostile toward people.

Ephesians 6:12 says, “For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world.” Your real battle is spiritual.

Avoid attaching the names of relatives, neighbours, colleagues or friends to an attack without clear evidence. A disturbing dream alone is insufficient grounds to condemn a person.

Ask God for discernment and direct your prayers against the works of darkness. The prayer is this: “Lord, wherever this evil came from, let it fail.

Whoever is responsible, bring that person to repentance. Let every satanic power behind the operation be disgraced, and let Your righteous judgment prevail.”

When God fights for you, you have no need to become violent, abusive or vengeful. The Lord knows how to expose what is hidden, frustrate evil plans and defend the innocent. Your assignment is to remain prayerful, obedient and spiritually alert.

The Bible contains several examples of evil plans returning upon those who designed them. Haman constructed gallows for Mordecai, but he was eventually hanged upon the same gallows.

Daniel’s enemies arranged for him to be thrown into the lions’ den, yet God delivered Daniel and exposed the wicked conspiracy against him.

The men who accused the three Hebrew children expected the fire to consume them, but God preserved His servants while the flames destroyed the soldiers who carried out the wicked command.

Psalm 7:15–16 says, “He made a pit, and digged it, and is fallen into the ditch which he made. His mischief shall return upon his own head.”

Wickedness carries the seed of its own destruction. This Scripture reveals a powerful spiritual law: evil can return upon the head of the one who designed it.

The wicked may dig the pit, organise the conspiracy and release the arrow, but God can reverse the entire operation. When people continually dig pits for the innocent or the righteous, they may eventually fall into those pits themselves.

Mordecai did not need to fight Haman physically. Daniel did not attack those who conspired against him. The three Hebrew children did not threaten the king’s soldiers.

God Himself arose, defended His people and overturned the evil verdicts. When God fights for you, the trap prepared for you can become the instrument through which your enemies’ plans are exposed and defeated.

A woman once dreamt that someone poured faeces over her body. She felt powerless to confront the person and woke up without cleansing herself in the dream.

Shortly afterward, her colleagues began avoiding her, her boss began to have wrong emotion about her and unfortunately she eventually lost her job because the management claimed it wanted someone more competent.

She gave the dream strength to overwhelm her. She initially ignored the dream, believing it would have no effect upon her life. When she contacted our ministry, we interpreted it as an attack of shame and rejection.

She was placed on seven days of midnight prayers to cancel the attack and send every evil arrow back to its source. By God’s mercy, she later secured a better job.

Beloved, dreams are sometimes one of the ways God reveals that an evil arrow has been fired. When such a warning comes, rise in prayer and cancel its assignment before it manifests.

One of the enemy’s greatest weapons is fear. He wants you to become frightened by every negative dream, strange feeling or threatening word.

Fear makes an attack appear more powerful than it is. Faith, however, reminds you that Jesus has already defeated principalities and powers.

Colossians 2:15 says, “And having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a shew of them openly, triumphing over them in it.” You are not fighting for victory; you are standing in the victory Christ has already secured.

Whenever you wake from an evil or disturbing dream, rise and pray immediately. Reject every negative transaction or evil exchange represented in the dream, and cancel every ungodly agreement or spiritual claim made against your life.

Stand upon the authority of God’s Word and declare boldly that your body, family, marriage, children, career, business and destiny belong to Jesus Christ.

Whatever God has not planted in your life must be uprooted, and every evil assignment directed against you must lose its power, in Jesus’ name.

Plead the blood of Jesus and command every evil arrow to return empty. After praying, refuse to spend the day in fear. Trust God and continue with your responsibilities.

Spiritual warfare should leave you stronger, more peaceful and more confident in God not suspicious of everyone around you.

Back-to-sender prayer should make you bold spiritually and peaceful physically. You can pray like a warrior at midnight and still greet people peacefully in the morning. You can bind evil in prayer without abusing anybody physically.

You can reject wicked arrows without threatening anyone. You can ask God to frustrate evil plans while still leaving room for offenders to repent. This is the beauty of spiritual warfare: you fight without becoming fleshly.

I want somebody to understand something today: you are not helpless. You are a child of God, and you have been given spiritual authority to resist the works of darkness. If an arrow of fear has been fired against you, reject it.

If discouragement has overwhelmed your mind, rise with the Word of God and declare that you will not surrender. If the enemy wants you to believe that your situation can never change, remind yourself that the enemy does not have the final authority over your life.

If someone has spoken negative words concerning your future, refuse to build your identity around those words. What another person says about you cannot replace what God has spoken concerning you.

If a false accusation has been raised against you, pray for vindication, present the truth where necessary and seek appropriate justice. Prayer does not make you powerless; prayer should strengthen you to respond with faith, wisdom and courage.

If there is a genuine threat against your life, take responsible measures to protect yourself. If there is a repeated problem you cannot explain, pray seriously and investigate the possible practical causes.

If you wake from a disturbing dream, take it to God immediately instead of allowing fear to occupy your heart. Reject every evil representation of the dream, stand upon the promises of God and ask the Holy Spirit for discernment concerning any action you need to take.

Beloved, whatever the enemy throws at you, refuse to surrender your faith, peace and destiny. You may have been attacked, but you are not defeated. You may have experienced rejection, but rejection does not have to become your identity.

You may have suffered a setback, but a setback does not have to become your permanent condition. You may have been falsely accused, but a lie does not automatically become the truth.

David said in Psalm 35:1, “Plead my cause, O LORD, with them that strive with me: fight against them that fight against me.” That is the language of someone who knows he has a Defender. David faced Saul, betrayal, false accusations and enemies, yet God preserved him.

He learned that some battles required courage, some required running away from danger, some required waiting, and some required leaving judgement completely in God’s hands. Spiritual warfare requires the same discernment today.

Back to Sender means living with the consciousness that you belong to God and that your life is hidden in Christ. For example, when an arrow is fired against you spiritually, your response should not be fear. Your response should be prayer.

When darkness says, “Receive sickness,” your spirit should answer, “I reject it in Jesus’ name.” When darkness says, “Receive failure,” answer, “I reject it in Jesus’ name.” When darkness says, “Receive confusion and fear,” answer, “I reject it in Jesus’ name.”

When darkness says, “Receive shame,” answer, “I reject it in Jesus’ name.” When darkness says, “Receive backwardness,” answer, “I reject it in Jesus’ name.” Whatever heaven has not planted in your life has no right to establish itself there.

Christianity is a life of love, but it is not a life of spiritual carelessness. Jesus taught us showing love towards people, and the same Scripture also commands believers to resist the devil.

James 4:7 says, “Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.” Resistance means that when darkness tries to attack you, you don’t keep silent, and that means you refuse to surrender your ground. you

There are believers today who recognizes an attack but become passive about it. They dream troubling dreams repeatedly and remain silent and pretend nothing happen.

They notice destructive patterns developing in their life and simply accept them. Gradually, fear begins to increase, prayer life begins to decrease, delay begin to hinder their progress, and gradually the enemy attempts to gain influence over their thoughts.

Beloved, silence before spiritual oppression is not the same thing as peace. The enemy wants to paralyze your faith until you become afraid to pray. He wants to steal your peace until every unusual situation frightens you.

He wants to manipulate your emotions until you begin making decisions from fear. He wants to overwhelm you until you start believing that nothing can change. But the Word of God says in Luke 10:19, “Behold, I give unto you power… over all the power of the enemy.”

You have been given spiritual authority to stand against darkness and overcome them in the name of Jesus. There are times when you must rise and say, “Enough is enough.

Whatever God has not planted in my life shall be uprooted. Every evil arrow fired against me shall become powerless. Every satanic burden placed upon me shall be removed.

Every trap prepared for me shall fail.” The enemy should never be permitted to determine the atmosphere of your life.

 

IN CONCLUSION – FIRE BACK IN THE SPIRIT

Beloved, the message today is simple but powerful: when evil comes against you, refuse to become spiritually passive. Put on the whole armour of God.

Take the shield of faith. Take the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God. Stand in prayer. Resist fear. Reject every evil burden. Refuse every destructive identity.

Ask God to frustrate every wicked plan, expose hidden traps, overturn false accusations, preserve your household, and execute righteous judgement against them according to His wisdom.

When an arrow is fired against you, your immediate response is spiritual resistance, not physical warfare. When a pit is prepared, ask God for discernment so that your feet will not enter it.

When a conspiracy is organised against you, ask God to expose it to you. When negative words are spoken into your life, refuse to allow them to govern your future.

When wickedness rises against you, stand upon Isaiah 54:17 and declare that the weapon shall not prosper. When darkness appears around you, remember that “greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world” (1 John 4:4).

Back-to-sender prayer is ultimately a prayer for divine protection, reversal and the frustration of evil. It is declaring that what God has not ordained for your life will not prosper against you.

Instead of feeling concerned of who may be responsible for your problems, concentrate on strengthening your relationship with God, walking wisely and let your conduct be right.

Do not spend your life looking for enemies everywhere. Spend your life looking unto Jesus. Pray against evil, but keep your heart clean. Resist spiritual opposition, but correct your own mistakes.

Today, stand confidently upon Isaiah 54:17. Declare that every weapon formed against you shall fail. Every trap prepared against you shall be exposed. Every evil intention shall be frustrated by fire.

Therefore, arise in prayer and declare with holy boldness: Every arrow of wickedness directed against my life, I reject you in the name of Jesus. Every evil package assigned against me, I refuse to carry you in the name of Jesus. Every pit prepared for my feet, I shall not enter you in the name of Jesus.

 

 

 

 

PROPHETIC DECLARATION

I decree over your life today that every weapon formed against you shall not prosper, in the name of Jesus. Every arrow of wickedness fired against your peace, health, marriage, children, finances, career, business, ministry and progress shall fail to accomplish its evil purpose, in the name of Jesus.

Every trap prepared for your feet shall not capture you. Every evil expectation concerning your life shall be disappointed. Every wicked counsel taken against you shall come to nothing, and every conspiracy designed to bring you down shall be frustrated by the power of God.

I declare that you shall not become the victim of another person’s wicked expectation. You shall not carry a burden God has not appointed for you. You shall not enter the pit prepared for you. You shall not become the destination of an evil arrow.

According to Psalm 124:7, your soul shall escape as a bird out of the snare of the fowlers; the snare shall be broken, and you shall escape. Wherever wickedness has said, “This is where you will stop,” the mercy of God shall make a way for you.

Every negative word that has produced fear in your heart shall lose its influence. Every false accusation shall encounter truth. Every secret manipulation shall be exposed. Every deliberate obstruction against your legitimate progress shall encounter divine intervention.

Every Haman preparing a gallows for an innocent Mordecai shall encounter the righteous judgment of God. Every Pharaoh determined to return you to yesterday’s bondage shall not succeed.

Every lion prepared to consume you shall lose its ability to harm you. Every fiery furnace prepared to destroy you shall become another testimony of God’s preserving power.

I decree that the God who remembered Mordecai shall cause your forgotten good works to be remembered. The God who lifted Joseph from prison to the palace shall open doors beyond the reach of human manipulation.

The God who shut the mouths of lions for Daniel shall silence every situation demanding your destruction. The God who divided the Red Sea shall create an escape where the enemy expected you to be trapped.

From today, fear shall no longer rule your decisions. Suspicion shall not control your relationships. Bitterness shall not possess your heart. Another person’s wickedness shall not turn you into a wicked person.

You shall fight spiritually while walking physically in wisdom, righteousness, peace and love. God shall give you discernment to recognise traps, wisdom to avoid them, courage to take responsible action, and spiritual strength to stand when warfare becomes intense.

Every evil package you have consciously or unknowingly carried through fear, negative words, condemnation, intimidation or manipulation, I declare that its hold over your life is broken.

You belong to Jesus Christ. Your life is hidden with Christ in God. You shall live and not die. You shall rise and not be buried beneath your battles. You shall finish what God has given you grace to begin.

May the Lord expose what you genuinely need to know, close every dangerous door, reveal every hidden trap, frustrate every wicked device, and give you victory without allowing hatred to enter your heart.

May every evil plan concerning you become powerless, and may the counsel of God alone stand concerning your life.

You shall escape at last. You shall recover all. You shall advance further. You shall testify again. The weapon shall not prosper, the trap shall not capture you, and the evil expectation shall not become your portion, in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen.

 

 

PERSONAL CHALLENGE

Today, examine how you respond whenever you sense opposition, experience a disturbing dream or encounter circumstances that trouble your spirit. Have you become careless about prayer because you assume everything will simply disappear on its own? Have fear and discouragement weakened your ability to stand upon the promises of God?

Make a decision today to become more spiritually alert. If you recently had a troubling dream, write down everything you can remember and prayerfully examine it without jumping to conclusions or accusing anyone. Bring the matter before God and declare that anything contrary to His purpose for your life will not prosper.

Also identify one negative word, fear, burden or recurring thought you have been carrying because of something somebody said or did to you. Write it down privately. Beside it, write a Scripture that speaks against that fear.

If somebody told you that you would never succeed, write Philippians 4:13. If fear of death has troubled you, write Psalm 118:17. If you feel surrounded by opposition, write Isaiah 54:17. If you feel trapped, write Psalm 124:7.

Then spend at least fifteen minutes praying over that area. Reject fear and surrender the situation to God. Ask Him to reveal whether there is also a responsible step you should take to overcome the situation.

If there is a practical problem requiring correction, begin correcting it. If there is a serious threat requiring appropriate assistance, seek it. If the problem is something beyond your control, commit it to God and refuse to spend the entire day worrying about it.

Finally, examine your own heart. Make sure there is nobody you are deliberately trying to hurt, frustrate or destroy. If there is someone you have wronged, begin taking appropriate steps toward repentance and correction. Let evil stop with you.

 

 

EVANGELISM CHALLENGE

Today, reach out to someone who is living in fear because of opposition, negative words, troubling circumstances or repeated attacks. Share Isaiah 54:17 with the person and explain that the believer’s confidence is not in fear of enemies but in the power and protection of God.

Encourage the person to surrender their life completely to Jesus Christ rather than living under fear, superstition or constant suspicion. If they have not received Christ, share the message of salvation with them and invite them to trust Jesus as Lord and Saviour.

Pray briefly with the person, asking God to give them peace, wisdom, protection and courage. Remind them that spiritual warfare should draw them closer to Christ, not deeper into hatred and fear.
