EJOM DAILY DEVOTIONAL: July 9, 2026 – Nothing Is Too Hard for God
One of the greatest weapons Satan uses against believers is discouragement. He wants you to believe that your situation is beyond solution, that your case cannot be solved, and that God has forgotten you.
The devil whispers to your spirit, “It is too late,” “There is no solution,” “You have prayed enough,” or “Nothing will ever change.” But God asks a very important question in Jeremiah 32:27: “Is there any thing too hard for me?” The answer is an emphatic No!
When Abraham was almost one hundred years old, God promised him a son. Humanly speaking, the promise was impossible. Sarah had already passed the age of childbearing. Everything about their bodies said it could never happen. Even Sarah laughed because she considered the promise unrealistic.
Then God asked a question: “Is any thing too hard for the LORD?” (Genesis 18:14). Months later, Isaac was born exactly as God had promised. God did not reduce Abraham’s age before performing the miracle. He did not make Sarah younger. Instead, He simply demonstrated that His power is above natural limitations.
Perhaps your age worries you. Perhaps your business has collapsed. Perhaps your marriage is under attack. Perhaps you have been believing God for children. Perhaps you have been unemployed for years. Perhaps every door appears closed. Never conclude that God has finished with you simply because people have written you off.
People may say your case is impossible, but God has the final word. Many times, we become prisoners of human reasoning. We begin to calculate our future based on our salary, family background, qualifications, or present circumstances. Yet God does not work according to human mathematics.
One touch from God can completely rewrite your story. The Bible is filled with situations that looked impossible until God intervened. The children of Israel stood before the Red Sea with Pharaoh’s army pursuing them from behind. There was no visible escape. Fear filled the hearts of the people.
Human wisdom saw only death. But God made a way where there was no way. The sea divided, dry ground appeared, and the same waters that became a highway for God’s people became a place of judgment for their enemies. There are people who have already accepted defeat before the battle is over.
They have stopped applying for jobs because they believe nobody will employ them. They have stopped praying for their marriage because they think they will not get married. They have stopped believing God for healing because they feel there will be no healing.
They have stopped expecting promotion because they have experienced too many disappointments.bThis is exactly what the enemy wants. The devil knows that once he can steal your hope, he has attacked your faith.
Once your faith becomes weak, your prayers become powerless because the Bible says, “Without faith it is impossible to please Him” (Hebrews 11:6). As long as you are alive, God is not through with you. Never allow your present condition to determine your future expectation.
Your current situation is only a chapter of your story, not the end of it. God has the power to change your story overnight. One encounter with Christ ended thirty-eight years of stagnation. It does not matter how long your problem has lasted. Whether it is three years, ten years, twenty years, or even longer, time cannot limit God.
The God who created time is not controlled by time. Many people also make the mistake of limiting God to one method. They tell themselves, “Unless this particular person helps me, I cannot succeed.” Some believe, “If I don’t travel abroad, I cannot prosper.” Others think, “Unless I inherit my father’s property, I can never make it.”
Be careful not to put God inside your own small box. God has countless ways of blessing His children. He can send help from unexpected places. He can use a stranger to bless you. He can open a door where everyone else sees only a wall. He can cause someone who has never met you to remember your name.
He can give you favour where others experience rejection. That is why your confidence should never be in people. Your confidence must remain in God. The Bible says in Psalm 75:6-7, “For promotion cometh neither from the east, nor from the west, nor from the south. But God is the judge: he putteth down one, and setteth up another.”
If your promotion comes from God, nobody can stop it. If your marriage is ordained by God, no enemy can destroy it. If your breakthrough has been appointed by heaven, no witch, no occult power, no household enemy, and no evil altar can cancel it. They may delay it for a season, but they cannot stop what God has determined.
That is why you must never surrender to fear. Sometimes, before your breakthrough comes, your circumstances may even appear to become worse. Do not panic. Your present struggle may simply be preparing the stage for a greater testimony. It may be tempting to interpret interpret temporary silence as God’s absence.
God may be working behind the scenes on your behalf while you see nothing happening. Another reason many believers struggle to experience the miraculous power of God is because they allow what they see to become stronger than what God has spoken.
If you continue to compare your problem with your own strength, you will become discouraged. But if you compare your problem with the power of God, your faith will rise.Stop saying, “My problem is too big.” Instead say, “My God is greater than my problem.” Stop saying, “Nothing is working in my life.” Instead declare, “God is making a way for me.”
Stop saying, “I don’t know anyone.” Instead say, “God knows everyone, and He can connect me to the right people.” Your words matter because they reveal what you believe. The Bible tells us that death and life are in the power of the tongue (Proverbs 18:21).
Every day, choose to speak words that agree with God’s promises instead of words that strengthen fear and unbelief. There are people who cancel their own miracles by speaking negatively. They pray in the morning and then the voice of darkness spend the rest of the day saying, “It can never happen.”
They fast and then tell some people, “Nothing good ever comes my way.” Such words are not in agreement with the God they are praying to. If you truly believe that nothing is too hard for God, let your speech reflect your faith.
Beloved, there are also times when God allows impossible situations to remain for a while so that no man will take His glory. If Lazarus had recovered before Jesus arrived, people could have explained it away as a natural recovery. But after four days in the tomb, everyone knew that only God could receive the glory.
Sometimes your testimony is delayed because God wants the miracle to be so obvious that nobody can deny His hand. The God who is never late is also never in a hurry. He knows the exact day your testimony will bring Him the greatest glory. Perhaps you have prayed for many years over the same issue.
You may be asking, “O Lord, when?” Keep trusting Him. The God who remembered Hannah has not forgotten your name. The God who opened the prison doors for Peter is still opening impossible doors for you today. The God who turned water into wine can still transform ordinary situations into extraordinary testimonies.
Many believers know that God is powerful, but few truly believe that His power can change their own situation. Faith begins when you stop looking at the size of your problem and start looking at the greatness of your God. Your challenge may be real, but God’s power is greater than your challenge.
There is absolutely nothing too hard for God to do. What is impossible with men is possible with God. The yoke may be heavy, but God is ready to lift the burden and give you peace. Perhaps people have mocked your faith. They laugh because they cannot see what God has shown you.
Let them laugh. Noah looked foolish while building the ark, until the rain came. Hannah was misunderstood while praying, until Samuel was born. Blind Bartimaeus refused to keep quiet despite those who tried to silence him, until Jesus restored his sight.
Their perseverance became their testimony. Your own testimony is also coming unless you believe. In Jeremiah chapter 32, the prophet Jeremiah found himself in a very strange situation. He was in prison while the city of Jerusalem was under siege by the Babylonian army. Everything looked utterly hopeless.
Yet, in the middle of that crisis, God told Jeremiah to buy a field. Jeremiah obeyed, but his heart was deeply troubled. He prayed, reminding God of His greatness, and asked, “Is there anything too hard for thee?” God’s answer to Jeremiah was simple and direct: “Behold, I am the LORD, the God of all flesh: is there anything too hard for me?”
Notice that God did not argue or explain Himself; He simply reminded Jeremiah of who He is. Beloved, sometimes the answer to your problem is not a long explanation, it is simply remembering who your God is. He is the God of all flesh. That means every human, family, business, medical, and marital situation is completely under His control.
Many times, we focus on the size of our problems and wonder if they will ever go away. We look at our circumstances and falsely conclude that prayer isn’t working and that we need to seek worldly alternatives. Never allow your situation to become bigger than your faith.
Are you having problems in your relationships? God can intervene. Is your marriage going through a difficult season? God can still restore peace, love, and joy. Have you been abandoned, rejected, or betrayed by someone you trusted? God can heal your broken heart and restore your confidence.
Are you currently battling sickness? Jesus Christ is our Great Physician. Are you struggling financially? The God who fed Elijah using ravens and provided for thousands with just a few loaves of bread is still able to supply all your needs.
Have you been waiting for the fruit of the womb? Remember Sarah, Hannah, Elizabeth, and many others whose stories were transformed by the power of God. The God who opened their wombs has not changed.
Are you looking for a job? God knows exactly where your blessing is. One phone call, one recommendation, one interview, or one divine connection can change your story forever. Whatever your situation may be today, never conclude that it is beyond God’s power. There is no case too difficult for Him to handle
The Bible says in Jeremiah 33:3, “Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and shew thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not.” God is inviting you to call upon Him. He is not asking you to carry your burdens alone; He is saying, “Bring them to Me, and I will give you rest.”
Sometimes we pray, but even as the words leave our mouths, our hearts are full of doubt. We say, “Lord, I know You can do it,” but deep down we are thinking, “Maybe my case is different.” Faith does not speak like that. Faith believes God’s Word above every human report.
When God gives you a promise, hold on to it fast. Too many people have stopped expecting miracles simply because they have been waiting for so long.
They have prayed for years, attended countess prayer meetings, and listened to many sermons, yet they have not seen the breakthroughs they expected. If that describes you, I want to encourage you today: do not allow delay to destroy your faith.
Delay is not denial. The God who answered yesterday is still answering prayers today. Heaven has not gone silent, God has not forgotten your name, and your file has not been misplaced before Him. His timing may be different from ours, but His promises never fail.
Beloved, let’s be honest: some situations look impossible only because we are viewing them through our natural eyes. We measure our problems by what we can see, touch, and calculate. But faith does not operate by sight. Faith operates by the Word of God.
The moment you begin to measure your problem by the greatness of your God, instead of measuring God by the size of your problem, everything changes. Furthermore, some situations remain difficult because of spiritual opposition and manipulations.
There are cases where sickness, delay, barrenness, poverty, and confusion are not just natural occurrences, but are being actively sustained by demonic powers working against your destiny. This is why targeted prayer and spiritual warfare are necessary
It is not enough to simply hope. You must rise up, take authority, and command every satanic hindrance to bow to the name of Jesus! There are times when God deliberately allows human help to fail so that we learn to depend completely on Him.
When the Israelites stood before the Red Sea, there was no human solution available. The sea was in front of them, Pharaoh’s army was closing in behind them, and the mountains surrounded them. Humanly speaking, they were completely trapped.
But when God stepped in, He made a way where there seemed to be no way. That is the God we serve; He specializes in doing the impossible. Sometimes, God will bless you through people you have never even met. He can move the heart of a stranger to favor you.
He can cause someone to remember you after many years. He can make your name appear before kings, employers, investors, or destiny helpers. Nothing is too difficult for Him. Remember the man who sat by the pool of Bethesda for thirty-eight years.
Everyone had concluded that his situation was permanent. But the day Jesus arrived on the scene, everything changed in a moment. It takes only one encounter with God to completely rewrite a story that has remained stuck for decades. Lazarus had been in the grave for four days.
To everyone around him, the situation was over, and they were already focused on the smell coming from the tomb. But Jesus was not moved by public opinion. He stood before the grave and called Lazarus by name, and death had to release him because the voice of God is greater than any impossible situation.
Do not allow your present circumstances to talk you out of what God has spoken over your life. If God says you will be fruitful, believe Him. If He says He will restore your home, believe Him. If He says your healing has come, receive it with thanksgiving, and if He says your season of delay is over, begin preparing for your testimony!
Never allow people’s opinions to become your reality. Critics may say you are too old to get married, but what does God say? Doctors may say you cannot have children, but what does God say? Economists may say your business will never recover, but what does God say?
The only report that matters is the report of the Lord. The enemy wants you to focus on your limitations, but God wants you to focus on His ability. Moses looked at his inability to speak, but God looked at the nation He was about to deliver through him. Gideon saw himself as the least in his family, but God called him a mighty man of valor.
Jeremiah thought he was too young, but God had already ordained him as a prophet to the nations. God never chooses people based on their limitations; He chooses them based on His purpose and supplies the grace they need.
Perhaps you have been crying secretly because of a situation no one else knows about. You have smiled in front of people while carrying heavy burdens in your heart, wondering, “Lord, when will my own testimony come?” Be encouraged.
God sees every tear you have shed, hears every silent prayer, and knows every pain you have endured. Nothing about your life is hidden from Him, and whatever He has spoken concerning your life will surely come to pass. If He says you shall be the head and not the tail, believe it.
If He says you shall lend and not borrow, believe it. If He says your latter end shall greatly increase, believe it. Do not argue with God’s promises just because of your present condition. Do not stop expecting good news. Wake up every morning believing that today could be the day God answers your prayer.
Expect divine favor, strategic connections, unexpected blessings, open doors, and total restoration. God often surprises His children when they least expect it. Remember, God’s promises do not depend on how you feel; they depend entirely on His faithfulness.
Feelings may change, but God never changes. People may fail you, but God never fails. Many believers make the mistake of praying and then immediately speaking words that cancel out their prayers. After saying, “Lord, provide for me,” they turn around and say, “Nothing good ever happens to me.”
After praying for healing, they confess defeat. After asking for favor, they keep expecting rejection. Your mouth must agree with your prayers. Jesus said that when you pray, believe that you receive, and you shall have it. That means faith begins before you see the physical manifestation.
Faith thanks God before the answer becomes visible. When a genuine servant of God speaks under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit and declares God’s promise over your life, do not respond with doubt. Receive the word with faith. Do not say, “Let’s wait and see.”
Instead, say, “Lord, I thank You because Your Word cannot fail in my life.” Thanksgiving is one of the highest expressions of faith. You are not pretending when you thank God before the miracle appears. You are acknowledging that God is faithful to perform what He has promised.
Think about Abraham. The Bible says he did not stagger at the promise of God through unbelief but was strong in faith, giving glory to God. Why was he praising God long before Isaac was ever born? Because he believed that what God had promised, He was also able to perform.
That is how faith works. Faith celebrates before the celebration becomes visible. Beloved, stop measuring God’s ability by your present circumstances. Your bank account cannot limit God, your medical report cannot stop Him, and your age cannot hinder Him.
Your family background cannot frustrate His plans, and your past mistakes cannot cancel His mercy when you genuinely repent. No matter what report you have received, no matter how long the battle has lasted, and no matter how impossible your situation appears today, remember that your case has not gone beyond God’s power.
The final verdict does not belong to man; it belongs to the Lord. Therefore, hold fast to His promises, walk in obedience, and anchor your soul in faith. The God who specializes in impossible situations has not changed. He is still opening doors that no human power can shut, raising the poor from the dust, and restoring troubled homes.
The day is coming when those who laughed at your faith will celebrate your testimony. The people who thought your story had ended will witness the beginning of a glorious new chapter. Keep your eyes fixed on Him, refuse to give up, and watch your tears transform into songs of joy, for with God, all things are absolutely possible!
Prophetic Declaration
I decree in the mighty name of Jesus that nothing shall be impossible for me because my God is the God of all possibilities. Every mountain standing before my breakthrough shall become a plain. Every closed door shall open by the power of God, and every impossible situation in my life shall turn into a glorious testimony.
I declare that every sickness shall receive divine healing, every delay shall come to an end, every yoke shall be broken, and every burden shall be lifted. The Lord shall restore my joy, my peace, my health, my finances, my family, and everything the enemy has stolen from me. Amen.
Daily Reflection
Ask Yourself:
- Have I been limiting God in my life because of what my natural eyes can see, or because of what people have told me?
- What impossible situation do I need to surrender completely to God instead of worrying about it?
- Am I allowing fear to control my faith, or am I standing firmly on God’s promises?
- Can I recall a time when God did what seemed impossible in my life? How does that strengthen my faith today?
- What practical step of faith do I need to take today to demonstrate that I truly believe nothing is too hard for God?
Wisdom for Today
“Never allow the size of your problem to make you forget the greatness of your God.”
Personal Challenge
Identify just one situation in your life right now that you have considered impossible. Instead of worrying or speaking negatively about it, spend this week praying over that specific area and declaring God’s promises every single day.
Evangelism Challenge
This week, encourage someone who has lost hope because of a difficult situation. Share with them one Bible promise about God’s power, pray with them, and remind them that nothing is too hard for the Lord. Your words of faith may be the encouragement they need to keep trusting God for their miracle.

Closing Reflection
No matter how hard life may seem today, never lose hope. Your present challenge is not your final destination. The God who brought you this far will not leave you. Hold on to His promises, remain steadfast in prayer, and keep trusting Him even when you cannot see the way forward.
Every storm has an end, every trial has an expiration date, and every burden has a Deliverer. You are coming out stronger, wiser, and with a testimony that will glorify God. With Him, nothing is impossible.
