EJOM DAILY DEVOTIONAL: August 12, 2026 – When Your Enemy Dream Against You

Do you know that your enemy recently dream about you? Somebody somewhere did not sleep well last night because of you. While you were sleeping, somebody was in the dream realm, plotting, planning, and evil dreaming evil concerning your life.

Some people saw you stagnated in their dream. Some saw you going backward in dreams. Some saw you feeling sick in the dream. Some even saw where you died. Some saw the spirit of poverty following you everywhere you go. Some saw you crying without comfort.

Some saw you in the hands of policemen, arrested and disgraced. And after they saw all these things, they did not just wake up and forget it. No! They went ahead and started praying that what they saw should locate you. That is how wicked the human heart can be.

An enemy is not always somebody carrying a knife or a gun. An enemy is simply somebody who does not wish you well, somebody working quietly against your progress.

Some people will smile with you in the day, eat with you, laugh with you, call you their friend, but in the night, in their secret place, they are consulting powers against you. That is the tragedy of our generation. The battle is no longer physical, it has moved to the realm of the spirit.

Do not be afraid! Because while your enemy is dreaming evil against you, your God is not sleeping. Psalm 121 tells us that He who keeps Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep. So even as they are planning against you in the dark, God is already working in your favour.

That is why sometimes God will show you something in your own dream too. He will alert you to pray. He will warn you to be careful of a particular person. He will tell you in the spirit to distance yourself from somebody, not because that person is your enemy, but because God is protecting your destiny from unnecessary entanglement.

Understand this too, not everybody who withdraws from you or stop talking to you is your enemy. Some people simply cannot associate with you again because of what God is doing in your life. Your light has become too much for their darkness.

They are not fighting you, they just cannot stand near the glory of God upon your life. So do not curse everybody who leaves your side. Some left because God has pushed them out of your way. Others left because they could no longer hide their true colors once your light started shining.

Now, here is something you must understand about the wicked ones. When a witch or a wizard dreams evil against you especially dreaming you were being poisoned, involved in accident, sickness, or death, they do not just leave it in the dream.

They begin to work to make that dream become reality in your life. Something will start pushing them to do evil, and the spirit will whisper in their mind and say: ”let it happen to him or her”.

That is why some sudden accidents, some sudden sicknesses that doctors cannot explain, some sudden business collapses, have their roots in the the lives of people. That is why the Bible tells us to be sober and vigilant, because our adversary the devil is walking about like a roaring lion, looking for who to devour.

Let me tell you something that happened to me. One day the Lord showed me in a dream that a certain woman was about to be used for ritual purposes. I did not sit on it. I called her immediately and I warned her to be careful and to pray. Do you know what she told me?

She said she had received a similar warning herself in her own dream. Two witnesses, one testimony. That is how God confirms things when He wants to save a life. That is why you must never take your dreams for granted. That is why you must never ignore that inner alarm bell that goes off in your spirit.

Beloved, if you are not spiritually sensitive, the enemy can trade with your life without your knowledge. There is something called spiritual trade by barter. Some people barter destinies in the dream realm, they exchange virtues, they exchange glory, and the victim knows nothing until the manifestation begins to happen.

This is why you cannot afford to be careless in these last days. You must be alert. You must be vigilant. You must be prayerful in every single day. There are three categories of dreams you need to understand when it comes to enemy activities.

The third one is the dream of execution. This is the final stage, where they have already gathered the intelligence, they have already completed the transaction, and now they are moving to finish the job, either in the dream itself through chasing, killing, tying down, or drowning, or they begin to work it out physically through sickness, accident, sudden death, or long-term suffering.

Now here is the good news, and I want you to hold on to this. No matter what stage the enemy has reached in their evil plan against you, the blood of Jesus Christ can arrest it!

It does not matter if they are still investigating you, it does not matter if they have already done a transaction, it does not matter if they are already at the point of execution, the blood of Jesus is not limited by time or by stage.

When you plead the blood, you are not just stopping a future attack, you are also reversing every stage that has already taken place without your knowledge.

That is why I always say, do not wait until things become physical before you start praying. Do not wait until you see the sickness, the accident, the failure, before you cry to God.

Start every single day by shutting the door against every investigation, every transaction, and every execution of darkness.

When you cover yourself with the blood of Jesus in the morning, you are telling the kingdom of darkness, “You cannot study me today, you cannot trade with my destiny today, you cannot execute any evil plan against me today.”

Beloved, let me tell you something that will help you for the rest of your life. Not every bad dream you hear about is meant to scare you, some of them are meant to prepare you.

There is a difference between a dream that comes to torment you and a dream that comes to inform you. The devil brings dreams to paralyze you with fear, but the Holy Spirit brings dreams, or interprets dreams, to arm you with wisdom. That is why after teaching like this, some people will now be afraid to sleep at night. No! That is not the goal.

The goal is that you should sleep with confidence, knowing that you serve a God who never sleeps, and that you carry authority to command your own night.

Let me also settle something in your heart today. Not everybody who has ever seen you in a bad dream is a witch or a wizard. Sometimes, God allows a genuine, praying brother or sister to see something concerning you, not because they are your enemy, but because they are your covering.

That was the case with the woman I told you about. I was not her enemy, I was the one God used to warn her. So when somebody comes to you and says, “I saw you in a dream, please be careful,” do not immediately conclude that person wants to harm you.

Test the spirit. Watch the fruit of that person’s life. A true watchman will warn you and pray with you, not gloat over what they saw. However, be careful also, because the enemy is clever.

Some agents of darkness will come to you disguised as a “prophet” or “dreamer,” telling you fabricated dreams, just to plant fear in your heart or to manipulate you into following a wrong instruction.

This is why discernment is not optional for the child of God. Every dream report you receive from another human being, take it to God in prayer before you act on it. Let the Holy Spirit bear witness in your own spirit.

If God is truly speaking through that dream, your spirit will agree with it. If it is manipulation, your spirit will resist it, even if you cannot explain why.

Now, I want to speak to somebody today about the spirit of unnecessary fear. Beloved, since you started hearing about enemies dreaming against people or you keep having dream about someone you know, you have started sleeping with one eye open. You have started suspecting your own family members, your own coworkers, your own church members.

Beloved, that is not the spirit of discernment, that is the spirit of fear, and God has not given us that spirit. Discernment leads you to pray. Fear leads you to isolate yourself and live in torment.

Let me also remind you, the enemy does not have unlimited power. Every witch, every wizard, every occultist, every agent of darkness operates under a delegated, and limited authority. They cannot do whatever they like to a child of God who is covered by the blood and who is prayerful.

Job 1:10 tells us that even the devil complained to God that he could not touch Job because God had put a hedge around him, his household, and everything he had. That hedge is still available today.

That hedge is the blood of Jesus, the name of Jesus, and a consistent prayer life. When that hedge is up, no dream, no covenant meeting, no coven gathering can penetrate your life without your permission.

Beloved, I want to take you back to the scriptures, because everything I am teaching you today is not from my own imagination, it is rooted in the Word of God. Let us look at the story of Joseph.

Genesis chapter 37 tells us that Joseph had dreams, real dreams from God, showing his future greatness. But do you know what his brothers did when they heard those dreams?

The Bible says in Genesis 37:8, “And they hated him yet the more for his dreams, and for his words.” They did not just hate him, they began to plot against him. Verse 18 says, “And when they saw him afar off, even before he came near unto them, they conspired against him to slay him.”

Watch this pattern, beloved. Sometimes, it is not that the enemy dreamed evil against you first, sometimes it is because God showed you something great, and the people around you could not carry the weight of your future, so they turned into enemies of your destiny.

That is why some of you must be careful who you share your dreams, your visions, and your plans with. Not everybody deserves to know what God is doing in your life.

Now let us also look at Daniel. Daniel chapter 6 tells us that when Daniel excelled above the other presidents and princes, they could not find any fault in him, so they said among themselves, “We shall not find any occasion against this Daniel, except we find it against him concerning the law of his God.”

Watch this, beloved. When they could not attack him physically or find a genuine fault, they went spiritual, they used the system, they used manipulation, they used a decree to set a trap for him.

This tells us that when the enemy cannot reach you directly, they will look for an indirect way, sometimes through your dream life, sometimes through influencing people around you, sometimes through systems and structures.

But notice what happened to Daniel, he was thrown into the lion’s den, yet the Bible says in Daniel 6:22, “My God hath sent his angel, and hath shut the lions’ mouths, that they have not hurt me.”

That is your testimony too. Whatever den the enemy throws you into, spiritually or physically, God will shut the mouth of every lion assigned to consume you.

There are certain evil dream projects that will not loosen their grip through prayer alone, they require fasting as well. Jesus Himself said in Mark 9:29, concerning a stubborn spirit, “This kind can come forth by nothing, but by prayer and fasting.”

Beloved, if you have been praying against a particular recurring evil dream pattern and it has refused to stop, it may be time to add fasting to your prayer. Deny your flesh for a day, two days, three days, as the Lord leads you, and use that time to press hard in prayer against that stubborn pattern.

Some patterns are stubborn because they have been fortified over many years, sometimes from your family line, sometimes from a personal covenant you did not even know you entered into. Fasting breaks the stubbornness. Fasting humbles the flesh so the spirit man can rise in dominance.

Beloved, one practical instruction I want to leave with you is this, let the Word of God be the last thing that enters your spirit before you sleep, not the news, not social media, not an argument, not a troubling phone call. Psalm 1:2 speaks of the blessed man who meditates on the law of the Lord day and night.

When your mind is saturated with the Word before you sleep, your spirit man goes to rest already armed, already alert, already positioned for victory even while your body rests.

This is why some believers who read the Bible or listen to worship music before bed testify of peaceful, victorious, revelation-filled dreams, while those who sleep off arguing, worrying, or watching disturbing content open themselves to a troubled dream life.

But I decree over your life today, in the name of Jesus Christ, every evil dream project fashioned against you shall not stand! Every witch and wizard trading with your destiny in the dream realm shall be exposed and disgraced!

Every poison prepared for you in the spirit shall never locate your body! Every accident planned against you shall be cancelled by the blood of Jesus! You shall not die, you shall live to declare the works of the Lord!

Rise up today and take your prayer life seriously. The enemy is not resting, so you cannot afford to be careless. But greater is He that is in you than he that is in the world. Stay alert. Stay prayerful. Stay covered by the blood.

1. Heavenly Father, I thank You for the gift of life and for preserving me throughout the night, in the name of Jesus.

2. Father, I thank You for every unseen battle You fought for me while I slept, in the name of Jesus.

3. O Lord, thank You for dangers You prevented, traps You exposed, and troubles You did not permit to reach me, in the name of Jesus.

4. I commit myself and my household into the hands of God this morning; let Your presence surround us throughout this day, in the name of Jesus.

5. Every evil expectation concerning my life and family shall not prevail, in the name of Jesus.

6. Every negative imagination concerning my progress, scatter and come to nothing, in the name of Jesus.

27. O Lord, deliver me from trusting people blindly simply because they speak kindly to me, in the name of Jesus.

29. I reject and cancel every dream of sickness projected upon my body, in the name of Jesus.

30. I refuse to spend this day expecting something terrible to happen because of a frightening dream, in the name of Jesus.

31. Every negative word spoken to frighten, manipulate, or intimidate me shall not control my decisions, in the name of Jesus.

32. O Lord, give me wisdom to distinguish between a genuine warning and an attempt to create fear, in the name of Jesus.

33. Every dream intended to plant fear, confusion, hopelessness, or suspicion in my heart, I reject its influence, in the name of Jesus.

38. Father, give me wisdom to know when to speak, when to remain silent, and when to seek appropriate help, in the name of Jesus.

39. Every door God has genuinely appointed for me shall not be closed through manipulation or deception, in the name of Jesus.

40. Every friendship deliberately maintained for the purpose of gathering information to harm me, let wisdom expose it, in the name of Jesus.

41. Father, teach me what to share, whom to trust, and where to establish boundaries, in the name of Jesus.

42. O Lord, deliver me from revealing sensitive matters to people who have not demonstrated trustworthiness, in the name of Jesus.

43. Every malicious use of information concerning my private life, plans, family, ministry, or work shall not prosper, in the name of Jesus.

1. Heavenly Father, I thank You for preserving my life from morning until this hour, in the name of Jesus.

2. Father, forgive every sin I committed today knowingly or unknowingly, and help me walk more faithfully before You, in the name of Jesus.

3. As I prepare to sleep tonight, I surrender myself and my household completely into Your hands, in the name of Jesus.

4. According to Psalm 4:8, I shall lie down in peace and sleep, trusting in the Lord for safety, in the name of Jesus.

5. I refuse to go to bed expecting tragedy because somebody dreamed something negative concerning me, in the name of Jesus.

6. Every negative dream concerning my life that contradicts God’s purpose shall not become my destiny, in the name of Jesus.

55. O Lord, let my countenance shine so brightly today that darkness cannot come near me.

68. Every dream of my sickness that any enemy has dreamed, be cancelled and reversed, in the name of Jesus.

69. Every dream of my death that any wicked person has dreamed, be cancelled, I shall live and not die, in Jesus’ name.

70. Every dream of my poverty that has been dreamed against me, be cancelled and nullified, in the name of Jesus.

71. Every dream of marital separation or family breakdown concerning my household, shall not determine our future, in the name of Jesus.

72. Every dream of business failure concerning me, I reject its negative expectation, in the name of Jesus.

73. Every dream of ministry failure concerning my calling and assignment, shall not become my reality, in the name of Jesus.

74.  Every evil prayer made concerning a negative dream about me, I reject its influence over my life, in the name of Jesus.

75. Every evil expectation saying, “Let what I saw happen to him,” shall not determine my outcome, in the name of Jesus.

76. Father, I thank You, for I know that this prayer has already been answered, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
