Dreams Of Not Being Able To Open Eyes

2 KINGS 6:16-17

¹⁶ And he answered, Fear not: for they that be with us are more than they that be with them.

¹⁷ And Elisha prayed, and said, Lord, I pray thee, open his eyes, that he may see. And the Lord opened the eyes of the young man; and he saw: and, behold, the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire round about Elisha.

ISAIAH 35:5 Then the eyes of the blind shall be opened, and the ears of the deaf shall be unstopped.

The eye is the light of the body, without the eyes, vision will be defeated. In Psalm 119:18, the Bible says, open my eyes that I may behold wondrous things out of thy law. There are physical eyes and spiritual eyes. The physical eyes is the one we use to see, while the spiritual eyes is the eyes used to see things in the spirit realm.

A blind man can’t see things physically but in the spirit realm, it’s possible to see clearly, we called this spiritual sensitivity.  Did you dream of not being able to open your eyes? If yes, their symbolism and interpretation to this dream, it could symbolize difficulties, it could mean that certain things are hidden from you. It could mean the enemy is preventing you from having knowledge or observation of something.

It could mean the eyes of your spirit is under attack especially if you are a man of God. It could also mean God wants you to reflect deeply about your life and to reveal things to you.

In Psalm 119:37, maybe the reason of having difficulties in opening your eyes could be a sign that God does not want your eyes to see evil. In some cases, when you are unable to open your eyes, it means you will have challenge in knowing the truth or inability to know the hidden intention of someone (enemy) towards you.

In John 12:40, the Bible says, he hath blinded their eyes and hardened their heart that they should not see with their eyes, nor understand with their heart and be converted and I should heal them. According to this verse, maybe the reason you are unable to open your eyes in the dream could be a sign that your spiritual discernment is dead.

This means that you are unable to discover or understand something that poses as a fear to you. The dream could alert you that you may have eye problems now or in the future. Cancel it now. If you or someone is unable to open your eyes, it could indicate that you are sinning, it means you will find it hard to gain insight and direction on your goals.

In Isaiah 35:5, the bible says, then the eyes of the blind shall be opened and the ears of the deaf shall be unstopped. This is a good news to the dreamer. The Lord is saying that he’s going to open your eyes, open your was and open the eyes of your understanding. If you finally open your eyes, that’s a big miracle to come. Get ready to celebrate your upcoming breakthrough.

When your eyes are opened, you will have the ability to flow or communicate to people eye to eye. If you feel sad after the dream of blindness, it indicates that you are failing to see what is in front of you. Maybe there is something you need to know before it endangers you. A closed eye is a person without a definite sense of direction in life, this sign could reveal our future is darkened, it’s to pray about it.

If you are not able to open your eyes, it means you are trapped in a situation you can’t move forward, you can’t have a feeling of God’s goodness in your life, you feel you have been deprived in fulfilling your purpose.

Do you feel you are lacking insight, guidance, and direction in life? If yes, that could be one of the reason of this dream, you are trying to have a wide view of something but unfortunately you are not getting the accurate result that resonate with your thoughts.

The dream could also be telling there is something you are not seeing in the waking life, you need to ask God to reveal or bring it to your knowledge. For example, eating and dining with your enemy, getting married to a stranger, revealing your secret to a friend that betrays you, and your inability to detect who are your enemies or the difficulties to understand your environment in which you operate.

The eye is a symbol of your spirit, when your spirit is not open, it means you can’t know what the truth is. Another interpretation is that when you are unable to open your eyes, it could be telling you to focus and concentrate on your goals and you should not be distracted by others (Proverbs 4:25). In Psalm 146:8, the Lord says, he will open your closed eyes and raise you higher in life.

In conclusion dream of not able to open your eyes reflect your efforts to come out from a trapped situation, but it wasn’t successful. In this case, you need to ask God to open your ways.
