Subscribe nowHell is described in the Bible as a place of separation from God. It’s a place prepared for sinners, punishment. Hell is not a place God want for us.
2 Peter 3:9 says that God is not willing that any person should perish, but that all should come to repentance. That means God desires to save, not to condemn. That’s why Jesus came to deliver people from darkness and bring them into life. Through him, people are rescued from the power of sin and bondage.
When you dream about hell, it is a sign to draw closer to God and do His will. A dream of hell is not to scare you into fear, but to awaken you to the importance of your spiritual life.
God’s plan is not to punish us always, but to bring us closer to Him. So when you dream of being dragged or thrown to hell, this represents fear, regression, bondage, oppression or a warning to be careful of your spiritual life.
Spiritually, it may indicate that there are forces trying to drag you to the grave untimely, or into an eternal situation. Through dreams, God may be showing you the danger of certain paths, habits, or influences around you. It may also reveal spiritual battles going on concerning your life.
Sometimes, this dream can come from fear, especially if you have heard messages about hell or judgment; your mind can process those fears into dreams. But other times, it can be a spiritual attack where the enemy tries to intimidate you, weaken your faith, or make you feel condemned. You must not accept fear from such dreams.
The bible says in Colossians 1:13 that God has already delivered us from the power of darkness. If you are being dragged to hell, check yourself. It might mean your sin is influencing this dream against you. It’s time to give your life to Christ and repent of your sin.
If you cried out to God or you escaped hell, it means salvation. It means God has saved you from your sin, and he has given you a second chance. The death that was pronounced upon you has been cancelled by the mercy of God.
Being taken to hell may be a warning from God to correct something in your life that you’re doing wrong, cautioning you to avoid that dangerous path.
When God reveal this dream to you, it means God is trying to let you know your sin and trying to save you and bring you closer to Him. God may also be calling you to pray for souls heading towards destruction. As a believer, the enemy has no authority to drag you there.
There are times when a person can be alive, yet feel like they’re going through hell-like conditions, like feeling rejected and attacked, for example, in their marriage and family. In that sense, hell can symbolise distress or bondage where a person is overwhelmed with problems.
Spiritually, hell represents the absence of God’s light. Whenever the devil is in place, darkness will mostly overwhelm one’s dreams. That’s why when people move away from God, their lives can begin to reflect confusion and struggle.
Hell can also represent judgment and consequences of one’s actions when someone consistently chooses wrong paths, ignoring truth and disobeying God’s voice; it can lead to consequences that feel heavy and painful.
At the same time, you must understand something very important. God’s desire is always to rescue and not to condemn. John 3:17 says God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save it.
That means whenever you hear about hell, it should not push you into fear. It should draw you into awareness and closeness to God.
You don’t have to live in fear of hell. Instead, focus on walking in God’s presence, doing what is right, and growing spiritually. God’s love is greater than any fear, and His plan is always to protect, guide and bring you into peace.
When you are taken to hell, it is your fear and the people around you who want to sacrifice your destiny and hell it. Don’t worry, they have failed you. As long as you turn to God, seek Him, and stay connected to Him, you’re not under darkness. Light will always overcome darkness. It is well with you.
