Considering the book of 1 Kings:18:17-46, Elijah was a powerful man who pray more in aggressive ways and in an understandable manner, and oftentimes God answered his prayers by fire.

Elijah was displeased with King Ahab because he and his followers were worshiping idols instead of worshiping God. So Elijah told the king that there would be no dew or rain in the land for a long time.

He wanted the wicked people to be punished for their sin, and wanted to prove to them that God in Heaven was the true God and that same God will answer him.

Elijah told the king to bring all the people to a mountain named Carmel. When they were all there together, Elijah said to them, How long halt ye between two opinions?

If the LORD be God, follow him: but if Baal, then follow him. He wanted the people to make up their mind as to who was God. But the people did not answer Elijah.

Elijah said that he was the only prophet of the Lord; but that Baal, the idol, had four hundred and fifty men.

Then Elijah suggested that the followers of Baal take an animal and cut it in pieces and lay it on wood and put no fire under it. Elijah would also take an animal and do the same.

That was the way that people offered sacrifices in those days. Then they should call on their god and he would call on his God. The one who answered by fire would be the true God. All the people said, It is well spoken.

So the prophets of Baal did as Elijah had said. They prayed to Baal from morning until noon. But nothing happened – there was no voice to be heard, and no fire came down upon their altar.

So Elijah began mocking them. He said that they should cry louder; their god might be on a journey, or he might be sleeping and needed to be awakened. They cried louder and even cut themselves; but no fire came down from Heaven.

Right away the fire of the Lord fell and burned up the sacrifice, the wood, the stones, the dust, and even licked up the water that was in the trench. Then all the people fell on their faces and said, The LORD, he is the God; the LORD, he is the God.

So Elijah had proved to the wicked king and all his followers that their god was not the true god, but that the God that he served was the true and living God.

BIBLICAL DREAM ABOUT FIRE

On the positive side..

Hebrews 12:29, ”For our God [is] a consuming fire.”

Luke 12:49, ”I am come to send fire on the earth; and what will I, if it be already kindled?”

No wonder the Bible says, Behold, the LORD’S hand is not shortened, that it cannot save; neither his ear heavy, that it cannot hear: But your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hid his face from you, that he will not hear.

Sin has made God to hide himself from you so that he cannot hear you. Probably you think you are hearing from God because of your anointing, unfortunately the presence of God has departed from you for long.

SPIRITUAL DREAM MEANING OF FIRE IN THE DREAM

On the negative side…

If you see a fire in a house then this dream means a spiritual arrow has been fired into the ”heart” of your marriage (if you are married) to bring problems. The problem could manifest in the form of misunderstanding, financial problems, lack of trust, high degree of suspense, anger and the showings of other negative attitudes.

On the other hand, if you are not married and you see your house in a fire then it means a loss of precious things resulting to your regret, stagnation and failure.

This is why we have to be very prayerful as Christians.  The enemy is trying to keep you away from your place of blessing and comfort. But the truth is that you have operating under witchcraft attack.

Many people do not understand why their lives have remain stagnant for many years. If you attacked spiritually by fire, you may not be able to gather your prosperity and prosper in it.

One common attack from this dream is the attack against your gathering/properties/. Other obvious sign in a person’s life is curse of wandering aimlessly.

Prayer is usually only considered as a last resort for people with this kinds of dream. The right prayers will restore whatever the enemy has destroyed in your life, in Jesus name.

BURNING FIRE IN A DREAM

As said above that fire is destructive. However, a number of people have written me that they usually experience the dream where fire burnt them.  And in this case, there is an household power that want to destroy or kill you as a result of your glory.

Through fire burning dream, you may be tempted by your enemy to eat a food poisoning or take a gift that will kill you slowly. In most cases, the person may continue to experience health challenge and memory problems. It is a serious matter.
