Prayers Against Evil Names

Genesis 17:5, “Neither shall thy name any more be called Abram, but thy name shall bee Abraham: for a father of many nations have I made thee.”

Genesis 32:28, “And he said, Thy name shall be called no more Iacob, but Israel: for as a prince hast thou power with God, and with men, and hast preuailed.”

Every name has it own peculiar glory. Names operates as a means of identification. It is the name that our mother gave us during child dedication that we mostly answer to. Names are very powerful. Parents has great influence over their children. So the spirit of your parents can affects you.

For example, when the mother calls the name of his son as John from a distance, John quickly answers to his name. Why? Because that’s his biological name. Name is a unique factor that can determine the destiny of people. For example, if the meanings of your name interpret as ”snake”, prostitute, gods deliver me, you will find it difficult to prosper.

Once a person has evil names or surnames, it will affect such person’s destiny and breakthroughs. God identifies His children with their names. If you bear evil names,  it will kick you out of the blessings of God. In some families, you will see them naming their community or village after their surname.

Our forefathers has made some serious mistakes in the past. So any evil that takes place in that community for example, it will affect children from generation to generation. That’s why we have so so so many people are just struggling in life.

If your name has been attracting some curses and bondage to your life, and you know it is from you names, why can’t you change it  or go for deliverance? Some names are prone to be changed when discover it does not make any progress.

If you are given a name in an evil association, its better you renounce it and its effects before it goes too deep. Our parents should  be encouraged to give their children Godly names that will attract blessings like Abraham.

Why can’t you tell us  some of the evil names?

The spirit of God asked me not to relay in public some of the evil names that people mostly  bear especially in my beloved country, Nigeria. 

THE NAMES OF PEOPLE GOD CHANGED

• God changed the name of Abraham to Abraham – Exalted father/Father of nations Genesis 17:5.
• God also changed the name of Sarai to Sarah – Mother of nations (Genesis 17:15)
• God changed the name of Jacob (Supplanter) to Isreal – Having power with God (Genesis 32:28)
• He changed the name of Simon (God heard me) to Peter (Rock or stone) John 1:42

WHAT NEGATIVE, MEANINGLESS OR EVIL NAMES CAN DO?

1. It influences your attitude/character
2. It takes your names out of the book of life
3. It exposes you to satanic bondage
4. It makes the ancestral powers to get hold of you or manipulate your destiny
5. It causes working without no progress
6. It makes you to pray and fast in vain
7. It hinders your deliverance and freedom
8. It prevents God from locating you
9. It does not make people to access you for help
10. It activates demonic curses or covenants
11. It makes you work on a particular projects for many years without ending
12. It blocks you from travelling abroad (They said no where)
13. They makes a woman to suffer late marriage when she has evil names or surname
14. They makes a man to suffer in hardship and poverty
15. It makes financial blessings to be far away
16. It can block a woman’s womb
17. It is easiest way to hinder job breakthroughs
18. Despite your beauty, evil names makes ones to forget you
19. You begin to experience sexual urge
20. Bad luck and untimely death is another factor
21. It hinders a person with brighter glory to rise on time
22. It turns a person to vagabond etc

HOW DO YOU OVERCOME EVIL NAMES

1. Get connected to God and always worship Him in truth and in spirit
2. Repent from your sins and the sins of your parents/ancestors
3. Renounce the evil names one after the other
4. Blot out the spiritual effects with the blood of Jesus
5. Rename yourself with Godly names through various newspaper advert etc
6. Let your parents be aware of the change of names
7. Live a holy life and be conscious of heaven
8. Cover yourself and new names with the blood of Jesus

INSTRUCTION: Embark on 7 days fasting and prayers between 6am – 6pm to wage war against name manipulating powers. Rise up at midnight in holy anger. If possible, write your name or surname in a piece of paper and use it to pray. Let no one distract you. Read Psalm 105:15, Psalm 51, Psalm 57, 1 Kings 8:44, 2 Samuel 5:17-25

PRAYER POINTS

1. O God, let my names matters in heaven, in the name of Jesus.
2. I renounce any evil names given to me on the day of my naming ceremony, in the name of Jesus.
3. Any evil names given to me by the devil, I set it ablaze by fire, in the name of Jesus.
4. Every evil names that is delaying my breakthrough, be deleted from the book of my destiny, in the name of Jesus.
5. I disconnect myself completely from every ungodly nickname that is affecting God’s programmes for my life, in the name of Jesus.
6. My Father, I reject by the blood of Jesus, the evil effects of every ungodly names that are not supporting my plans, in the name of Jesus.
7. Any evil names that I am bearing that is connected to gods, marine spirit, village, I break the ancestral evil link to my destiny, in the name of Jesus.
8. I release myself from every names of profitless hard work, in the name of Jesus.
9. Let the anointing of the Holy Ghost destroy every marine spirit attached itself to my names, in the name of Jesus.
10. Every ancestral names that I am bearing that is strengthening the operation of afflictions in my life, break by fire, in the name of Jesus
11. I destroy the plans of any family idols to replace my virtues with an empty shell, in the name of Jesus.
