SIGNIFICANCE OF MIDNIGHT HOUR

Exodus 11:4-6
” And Moses said, Thus saith the LORD, About midnight will I go out into the midst of Egypt: And all the firstborn in the land of Egypt shall die, from the first born of Pharaoh that sitteth upon his throne, even unto the firstborn of the maidservant that is behind the mill; and all the firstborn of beasts. And there shall be a great cry throughout all the land of Egypt, such as there was none like it, nor shall be like it any more.”

The midnight hour is so significant, it is rather risky or dangerous to ignore the hours between 12midnight and 3am. Many times we are awakened from our sleep at midnight; why? Because a lot is going spiritually, and God wants us to do something about it.

Many times God wakes us up at 1, 2 or even 3am to pray, but most of us ignore God and go back to sleep. The deep significance of the midnight hour is that the spiritual realm is more active at that time than at any other time of the day.

Most of what happens in the day and in our lives, is first determined spiritually at midnight. This is why many people are affected by the midnight hour in divers ways without number.

A lot of people can’t understand why they have the bizzare, strange and fearful dreams they experience at midnight. They fail to understand that the spiritual realm is having a powerful influence on the outcome their lives and destinies.

God in His mercy, allows us have dreams at midnight, to know what is going on in our lives spiritually, so we can prayerfully alter it for good.

God made us primarily spiritual beings, because He want us to play major participation in the spirit realm especially at midnight, even though we live in physical bodies.

Facts About Midnight Prayer

1. The best time to pray to God is at midnight.
2. The best time to praise, thank and worship God is at midnight.
3. The best time to receive answers to prayers is at midnight.
4. The best time to receive spiritual blessings from God is at midnight.
5. The best time to wage warfare against the enemy and defeat the enemy soundly is at midnight.
6. The best time to prayerfully stop the plans of the wicked is at midnight.
7. The best time to receive deeper revelations of heaven, hell and the spiritual realm in general, is at midnight.

The spiritual realm at midnight is very active and controls most of what happens physically. We have different spiritual activities at midnight; God, the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit are active as spirits at midnight. Angels and demons are also active as spirits at midnight.

Lastly, human spirits are also active at midnight either on the side of God or the powers of darkness. When we pray at midnight, we are spiritually partaking in the spiritual realm and what will eventually happens to us and others physically. This makes midnight prayers so powerful and very fruitful indeed.

Instruction

Do not eat or drink anything from 9pm to the end of your prayers. Get a bottle of anointing oil or water for tonight prayers. After it, drink and sprinkle it in every corner of your house.

Take the following short prayers

• Thank you, Jesus, for taking away my sickness, shame, and poverty; all glory to you in Jesus’ name.
• Thank you, Jesus, for giving me peace even in the face of opposition; all glory to you in Jesus’ name.
• Father, I am grateful for the bright future You have in store for my family; all glory to you in Jesus’ name.
• Father, I thank you for completely humiliating all of my enemies; be glorified in Jesus’ name.
• Father, I thank you for not allowing the evil plans of my coworkers to come true in my life; all glory to you, in Jesus name.
• Lord, I thank you for restoring my marriage after all the evils perpetrated by my enemies; all glory belongs to you, in Jesus name.
• Father, I thank you for the ways you have provided for my children despite the nation’s difficulties; all glory belongs to you in Jesus’ name.

Confession 1:

Jeremiah 29:11, For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.

1. Tonight, O God, settle my matters permanently, in the name of Jesus.

2. Anything separating me from reaching my goal, catch fire, in the name of Jesus.

3. Fire of God, separate me from my enemies, in the name of Jesus.

4. Any error that will return me to zero point, depart from my life, in the name of Jesus.

5. Voice of the idols of my father’s house, saying to my destiny “come down, come home to die”, be silenced by fire, in the name of Jesus.

6. Every wrong vision and dream other people had about me, be cancelled, in the name of Jesus.

7. I close any evil book that was opened for me, in the name of Jesus.

8. O God, answer my enemies with blood, smoke and pillars of fire, in the name of Jesus.

9. Whatever the devil owes me, I receive back in sevenfold, in the name of Jesus.

10. Lord, remove the calendar of last year from my life, in the name of Jesus.

11. Anyone that has been toying with my destiny and escaping shall not escape this year, in the name of Jesus.

12. O Lord, give me strength that cannot be broken by challenges, in the name of Jesus.

13. The sun shall not smite me by day nor the moon by night, in the name of Jesus.

14.  You the powers of the night operating between midnight and 1:00am against me, I bury you alive, in the name of Jesus.

15. You the powers of the night operating between 1:00am and 2:00am on my body, die by fire, in the name of Jesus.

16. Every power that wants to continue their evil with me in this month, perish, in the name of Jesus.

17. Every evil load upon my body, backfire, in the name of Jesus.

18. Every obituary pasted on the wall to announce my death, catch fire, in the name of Jesus.

19. False prophet waiting for me come with my problems, be disappointed, in the name of Jesus.

14. Anything that is making me to be spiritually lazy, come out and die, in the name of Jesus.

15. O Lord, separate me from the friends that will destroy my destiny, in the name of Jesus.

16. Anything the enemy is supervising in my life for destruction, be scattered by fire, in the name of Jesus.

18. Every power padlocking my head, die, in the name of Jesus.

19. Every strange rain assigned to fall upon my head to intoduce storm, dry up, in the name of Jesus.

20. Agents of darkness that have volunteered to battle against me, you shall not see tomorrow, die, in the name of Jesus.

Midnight Prayers For Thanksgiving

1 Thessalonians 5:16-18

Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.

21. Father, I thank You for the gift of life to witness this month, in the name of Jesus.

22. Father, I thank You for what You have done in my life and what you are about to do in my life this month, in the name of Jesus.

23. Father, I worship Your name for your divine guidance upon me and my family, in the name of Jesus.

24. My Father, I praise You for Your protection upon me and my family, in the name of Jesus.

25. Oh Lord, I praise You for sending back every evil bullet of the wicked targeted at me, in the name of Jesus.

26. My Father, I thank you for pulling down every satanic structure standing against me, in the name of Jesus.

27. O Lord, I praise Your name for assigning Your angels to protect me and my family, in the name of Jesus.

28. My Father, I thank You for frustrating every wicked plan of the devil concerning me, my family, academic, career, job, business, marriage and ministry in the name of Jesus.

29. O Lord, I thank You for decorating my life and family with your blessings, in the name of Jesus.

30. My Father, I thank You for guarding me from the evil attacks of the enemy, in the name of Jesus.

31. My Father, I thank You for destroying the plans of my adversaries concerning my life today, in the name of Jesus.

32. My Father, I thank you for making everything around me work out for my good, in the name of Jesus.

33. My Father, I praise Your name for giving me authority and dominion over the wicked enemies of my life, in the name of Jesus.

34. O Lord, I thank You for hiding me under the protection of your wings, in the name of Jesus.

35. My Father, I thank You for not letting me receive any bad news concerning my business, career, marriage, job, academic and ministry, in the name of Jesus.

36.My Father, I thank You for neutralizing the forces and attacks of the wicked ones upon my life, in the name of Jesus.

37. My Father, I thank You for executing your judgement upon my stubborn oppressors, in the name of Jesus.

38. O Lord, I worship You for surrounding me and my household with your powerful presence, in the name of Jesus.

39. Oh Lord, I exalt your name for giving me your joy, hope, strength, peace and sound mind, in the name of Jesus.

40. Father, I pray and ask that you order my steps aright all through the new month in Jesus name.

41. Ask God in 5 minutes what you want him to do for you.
