This marathon fasting is not only a programme that will provide you the ability to abstain from food completely but from the things of the world. In Romans 12:2, ”And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.”
The Bible says in Ephesians 5:16, ”Redeeming the time, because the days are evil.” The days are full of evil occurrences, sorrow and bad news.
The war against the ember months spirit cannot be overcome except by fasting and prayers. Marathon fasting is a way to demonstrate to God that we are serious. (MATTHEW 17:21:) “This kind goeth not out but by prayer and fasting”.
In a marathon race, there is no stop on the way no matter the distance of the race. A required efforts and determination must be in top geared to reach the final destination. As a Christian, fasting and prayers are the weapon of our warfare (Eph 6:12). Without it, we easily become a pray to the devil. If we must overcome our enemies in these ember months, prayers and fasting should be on the increase level
There is a big warning here:
Isaiah 57:1, ”The righteous perisheth, and no man layeth it to heart: and merciful men are taken away, none considering that the righteous is taken away from the evil to come.”

In Matthew 6:16-18, ”Moreover when ye fast, be not, as the hypocrites, of a sad countenance: for they disfigure their faces, that they may appear unto men to fast. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward. But thou, when thou fastest, anoint thine head, and wash thy face; That thou appear not unto men to fast, but unto thy Father which is in secret: and thy Father, which seeth in secret, shall reward thee openly.”
WHAT ARE THE INSTRUCTIONS IN THIS MARATHON FASTING
This marathon fasting comes with heavy loads of instructions. During the period of the marathon fasting, there should be no food in-take or drinking of water. Once you took them by mistake, you will be disqualified or disconnected from the fast except you want to do it just your own way
During this marathon fasting, there should be no committing of sins. Any kinds of sins should be killed instantly. The Bible says, He will separate Himself from you completely once God discover the intent of your heart. That is, the moment you sin during the fast, you won’t have the chance to continue with us.
During this fasting, you must seek God , pray and study your Bible very well. Daniel prayers did not answer until after 21 days holy fasting and prayers.
