Looking For Something In The Dream

Matthew 7:7-8

⁷ Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you:

⁸ For everyone that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.

Did you dream of searching or looking for something? If yes, are you searching for money, a bag, food, a shoe, a key, a job, or a document? Did you notice you are searching for someone?

To search or look for something is to desire something you do not have at that particular moment. Dreams of searching for something can go in two different directions. You could be searching for something you previously had, you could also be searching or looking for something new that you have not previously had, though you think it might be good for you.

Dream of searching can denote that you are looking for something that you lost or misplaced. On the other hand, dreaming of looking for something, reflects your efforts to get back what you have lost or missing in your life. This dream reveals that you are worried, confused, frustrated, and disappointed about something that is no longer within your reach anymore.

This dream may also be a sign for you to reach out to people or opportunities and get hold of them. For example, if you are searching or looking for money, it indicates your effort to recover from financial loss. Also if you are looking for someone in the dream, it signifies that you are missing someone in your life, no you are doing everything possible to reconnect with him/her.

Also, searching for someone may be a sign that you are ready to find love. The dream may prompt you to go out and meet new people. To dream of looking for something, may also indicate that you are pursuing a goal in life. If you find what you are looking for, it is an indication of joy, happiness, success, and recovery.

This means that you have discovered that thing that has been bothering you and hitting your peace of mind but if you can’t find what you are looking for in the dream, it signifies anxiety, confusion, pain, frustration, and unfulfilled plans.

When you search for something in the dream, it’s possible that you have not gotten hold of something you are looking for. To find what you are looking for, it shows that you need to decide on something, once you make that decision, success will be yours. If you are looking for your value, such as a handbag or wallet, this dream shows that you will lose respect from people as a result of financial problems and failure in life.

If you are looking for a house, it indicates you need comfort and safety, you are seeking rest. Are you searching for a job? If yes, such a dream reflects your desire to get a job. To dream that someone is looking for you means that someone is eager to get you either to connect to you, to bring you home, or to arrest you.

Make an inquiry prayer concerning the dream. If you find something you are looking for and then lose it, it means that you will not appreciate what you have. There is a chance that you are taking important things or people for granted and as such, you will lose it.

Dream of looking for something may mean that you are restless in life, many things are stressing you a lot and it appears that you are not getting the solution to your problems. In another way, a dream of searching for something could also be a sign that you need to start doing something that will keep you busy. Are you seeking something, pray that you will find it.
