 Guard Your Glory – EJOM DAILY DEVOTIONAL: October 1, 2026

Beloved, there is a glory God has placed upon your life. This glory represents His presence, favour, purpose, gifts and divine investment in you. However, whatever carries value must be guarded.

Jesus warned, “Hold that fast which thou hast, that no man take thy crown.” This means a person can lose through carelessness what took years of prayer, sacrifice and obedience to receive.

Samson was anointed and powerful, yet he failed to protect the secret connected to his strength. He kept returning to a relationship that weakened his consecration until his glory was exchanged for shame.

Not everyone who comes close to you should have access to the private matters of your life. Some people may celebrate your gift while secretly searching for the source of your strength. Ask God for discernment.

Guard your glory by protecting your relationship with God. Preserve your prayer life, remain in the Word and flee from sin. A few moments of compromise can damage years of honour and success.

Joseph understood this; when temptation came, he ran away because he valued his destiny more than temporary pleasure. Guard your words as well. Avoid announcing every plan before it matures.

Joseph’s brothers became troubled when they heard about his dreams. There are visions that should remain between you and God until the proper time for their manifestation. Wisdom teaches you when to speak, what to reveal and whom to trust.

Beloved, guard your glory against pride. Success can make a person feel self-sufficient, but the grace that lifted you must also sustain you. Give God the glory, remain humble and remember where He brought you from.

Treat people well, receive correction and never allow applause to replace God’s approval. As you enter this new month, examine your life carefully. What valuable thing has God entrusted to you that you have been neglecting?

Is it your marriage, ministry, business, career, education, health or relationship with Him? Begin by protecting it through prayer, wisdom and responsible action.

Remember, guarding your glory does not mean living in fear of enemies. It means faithfully protecting, developing and using everything God has entrusted to you.

PROPHETIC DECLARATION

In this new month, may God grant you wisdom to recognize and protect every valuable opportunity He has entrusted to you. Every evil plan designed to frustrate your progress shall fail. You will not destroy your future through carelessness, pride or costly mistakes.

May God strengthen your spiritual life, establish the work of your hands and guide you toward the fulfilment of His purpose, in Jesus’ name. Amen.

Your glory will not be exchanged for shame. God will give you wisdom to protect every blessing He has placed in your hands. You will finish your assignment well, and no person or power will take your crown, in Jesus’ name.

Short Prayer: Father, give me wisdom and spiritual alertness to guard the glory, gifts and purpose You have placed upon my life. Preserve me from sin, pride and destructive relationships, in Jesus’ name.

3. Father, restore every good thing I have lost through ignorance, disobedience or wrong decisions, in Jesus’ name.

4. Holy Spirit, give me wisdom to protect my calling, gifts and divine purpose, in Jesus’ name.

5. Every power assigned to exchange my glory for shame, your assignment is cancelled, in Jesus’ name.

20. Every Babylonian eye admiring my treasures with evil intention, lose access to my life, in Jesus’ name.

21. Every power of my father’s house and my mother’s house that has buried the glory of my lineage, release it now by fire, in Jesus’ name.

22. Every inherited pattern of shining at the beginning and fading at the end, be broken by the blood of Jesus, in Jesus’ name.

23. Every evil exchange that took my glory and handed me shame, be reversed by the power in the blood of Jesus, in Jesus’ name.

24. Every garment of shame, rejection, and reproach placed upon my life, catch fire and burn to ashes, in Jesus’ name.

20. Every arrow of temptation intended to destroy my testimony, return to the sender, in Jesus’ name.

21. I break every ungodly emotional and spiritual connection draining my strength, in Jesus’ name.

22. Every doorway I opened to the enemy through disobedience, be closed by the blood of Jesus, in Jesus’ name.

23. O Lord, build a wall of fire around me, my family and everything You have entrusted to me, in Jesus’ name.
