EJOM DAILY DEVOTIONAL: July 24, 2026 – Revealing Secret Things

Our God is a God of mysteries. There is nothing hidden from His sight. He knows the end from the beginning, sees what man cannot see, and understands what no human intelligence can discover. There are many things in life that remain hidden from human eyes

There are many things we do not know, and only God knows them. There are secrets that you need to know. These include your personal secrets for your own journey, family secrets, and the right direction to take in life. These secrets could reveal the source of your battles or what the enemy is planning against you.

The revelation of secret things can show you what God is planning to give you. Deuteronomy 29:29 says, ‘The secret things belong unto the LORD our God: but those things which are revealed belong unto us and to our children forever, that we may do all the words of this law.’

Spiritual blindness is bad. If not treated urgently, it can expose you to the traps of the enemy. Unfortunately, many people are struggling because they are fighting battles they do not understand. They are close to people they should stay away from, and they are revealing their secrets to those who don’t deserve them.

They are praying prayers that are not divinely arranged for their breakthrough. Others are making decisions without divine direction. This is why every believer needs the spirit of revelation. When God opens your inner eyes, you will see what you need to see; you will see what has been hidden from you.

No secret can remain hidden before the God who knows all things. Secrets are very hard to believe. They are often things that are kept hidden, or kept from our view. The dictionary says a “secret” is something that is ‘unknown to others, or something that is confidential in matters.’

God always desire to reveal himself to His children. Throughout the Scriptures, God revealed secret things to His servants. He warned Noah about the coming flood before anyone else knew about it. He revealed Pharaoh’s dreams to Joseph, exposing what was about to happen in Egypt.

He showed Daniel the king’s forgotten dream and its interpretation. He warned Joseph, the husband of Mary, to flee into Egypt because Herod planned to kill the child Jesus. These revelations preserved lives, protected destinies, and fulfilled God’s purposes. God does not reveal secret things merely to entertain our curiosity.

He reveals them to protect us, direct us, correct us, and prepare us for His purpose. Sometimes He reveals an enemy’s plan before it is carried out against us. Sometimes He exposes hidden sins that need repentance. He reveals a person’s true motives before they can strike. At other times, He unveils opportunities to you that others cannot easily see or discover.

Every revelation from God has a purpose that glorifies Him and benefits His children. The Holy Spirit plays a vital role in revealing hidden things. Jesus said that when the Spirit of truth comes, He will guide us into all truth and show us things to come. This means that believers must develop a close relationship with the Holy Spirit.

The more you walk with Him, the more sensitive you become to His leading. God may speak through His Word, dreams, visions, the inner witness of the Holy Spirit, or godly counsel. Whatever method He chooses, His desire is to lead His children in the right path. Many people ask God for miracles, breakthroughs, and financial blessings, but very few ask Him for revelation.

One revelation from God can save you from years of pain and regret. A single divine instruction can change the course of your life forever. When God reveal secret things, it saves and prepares you for something ahead. Another important truth is that God does not reveal everything at once.

He does not reveal to bring problems. He reveals something important according to His perfect timing and according to our spiritual maturity. Sometimes we become impatient because we want to know everything about our future immediately. God can reveal hidden opportunities as well as hidden dangers.

Sometimes the blessing you have been praying for is already near you, but you cannot recognize it until God opens your eyes. At other times, what appears attractive to you may actually be a trap. This is why every believer should pray daily for spiritual discernment. It is better to know God’s mind than to rely on human assumptions.

There are secret things that must be revealed for you to walk in total freedom: the secret altar raised against your life before you were born, the secret covenant your ancestors made that is still working against you, the secret enemy disguised as a friend, the secret spiritual husband or wife tormenting you in the dream, and the secret pattern of failure that keeps repeating itself in your family line.

God is saying tonight, “I will reveal it unto you.” You must understand that darkness cannot hide from light. The moment you begin to pray and command hidden things to be revealed, the kingdom of darkness begins to tremble, because exposure is the beginning of their defeat. What is hidden cannot be fought, but what is revealed can be destroyed.

This is why tonight we are not just praying, we are commanding every secret thing working against our lives to be exposed and dismantled by fire. Our God is the God who reveals deep and secret things. There is nothing hidden from Him, and nothing takes Him by surprise. He sees what man cannot see and knows what no human being can discover through natural wisdom.

One revelation from God can completely change the direction of your life. God reveals the information that can change your situation. He shows you the things others cannot see. He reveals the people you should associate with and those you should avoid. He exposes those who genuinely love you and those who secretly oppose your progress.

He uncovers hidden motives, secret plans, and the spiritual forces influencing a person’s life. He even reveals the true condition of our own hearts so that we can repent and draw closer to Him. One of the ways God speaks to His children is through dreams and visions. Throughout the Bible, God used dreams to warn, instruct, protect, and prepare His people.

Many times, He reveals hidden dangers before they happen, exposes the activities of the enemy, or gives direction concerning the future. However, every revelation should be tested against the Word of God and lead us closer to Christ. The devil hates light because light exposes the works of darkness.

The enemy thrives on secrecy, deception, and ignorance. That is why he fights against anyone who walks in the light of God’s truth. But whenever God’s light shines, every hidden work of darkness is uncovered, and the enemy loses the advantage over you. As the Scripture says, “The light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not” (John 1:5).

There are still secret things God wants to reveal to you. He may want to show you the real reason behind a delay, the source of a recurring battle, the next step to take, or the blessing He has prepared for you. Instead of relying only on your own understanding, make it a habit to ask the Lord for divine insight.

Pray for spiritual eyes that see beyond the physical and ears that hear His voice clearly. Never forget that nothing is hidden from God. No conspiracy, no hidden trap, no secret meeting, and no mystery surrounding your life is beyond His knowledge.

When God chooses to reveal what has been concealed, confusion gives way to understanding, fear is replaced with confidence, and ignorance gives way to wisdom. Divine revelation brings clarity, direction, protection, and freedom. May the Lord open your eyes to every truth you need to know and reveal every secret that will move your life and destiny forward, in Jesus’ name.

If you truly desire God to reveal deep and secret things to you, develop a close relationship with Him. Spend time in prayer, study His Word consistently, and live a life that pleases Him. The Holy Spirit delights in guiding believers who have humble and teachable hearts. The closer you walk with God, the more sensitive you become to His voice.

Ask the Lord today to remove every spiritual blindness from your life. Let Him open your understanding, sharpen your discernment, and fill you with His wisdom. May He expose every hidden trap, reveal every secret that concerns your destiny, and grant you the knowledge you need to walk in victory.

When God becomes your Revealer, you will no longer walk in confusion, because His light will continually direct your path. Today, make a fresh commitment to seek God’s face more than ever before. Ask Him to reveal every hidden blessing, every hidden danger, every hidden opportunity, and every hidden truth that concerns your life and family.

The God who revealed mysteries to Daniel is still revealing mysteries today. As you draw closer to Him, may your spiritual eyes be opened, your understanding be enlightened, and your life be filled with divine direction and supernatural wisdom, in Jesus’ name.

Prophetic Declaration

I decree over your life today that the God who reveals deep and secret things shall visit you with divine revelation, in the name of Jesus. Every veil covering your spiritual eyes, be torn apart by the fire of God.

May the Lord expose every hidden work of darkness assigned against your life and destiny. Every secret plot of the enemy against your progress shall be uncovered and destroyed.

I declare that you will no longer walk in confusion, ignorance, or uncertainty. The light of God shall direct your steps. May God reveal every person you need to connect with and expose every relationship that is not His will for your life.

Every hidden blessing, opportunity, favour, and destiny helper assigned to you shall locate you without delay. I decree that the Holy Spirit will sharpen your spiritual discernment, and you shall hear the voice of God clearly.

The Lord shall reveal the next step you need to take concerning your family, career, ministry, business, and destiny. Every mystery behind your delay, stagnation, repeated battles, and unanswered prayers shall be exposed, and the power behind them shall be broken.

From today, you shall not fall into hidden traps or make costly mistakes because the Lord will guide you continually. I declare that the light of Christ shall shine upon every dark area of your life, and every secret that needs to be revealed for your breakthrough shall come to light.

You shall walk in divine wisdom, divine direction, divine protection, and divine victory. In this season, the Lord will show you great and mighty things that you do not know, and your testimony shall glorify His holy name. In Jesus’ mighty name, Amen.

Daily Reflection

Ask yourself these questions today:

• Am I sincerely seeking God’s direction before making important decisions?
• Have I been depending more on my own understanding than on God’s wisdom?
• Is there any area of my life where I need God to reveal the truth?
• Am I sensitive to the voice of the Holy Spirit through God’s Word, prayer, and dreams?
• If God reveals something that requires me to change, will I obey without hesitation?
• Have I asked God for direction before making my recent decisions?
• What is God trying to teach me through my current circumstances?

Personal Challenge

Today, make it your priority to seek God’s direction before making any important decision. Set aside at least 20–30 minutes to pray and meditate on Jeremiah 33:3, asking the Lord to reveal anything you need to know concerning your life, family, relationship, ministry, career, or future.

Keep a notebook nearby and write down any Scripture, impression, dream, or instruction the Holy Spirit brings to your heart. Commit yourself to obey whatever God reveals to you, no matter how small it may seem. Remember, one divine revelation can change the course of your destiny.

Evangelism Challenge

Someone around you may be living in confusion, fear, or uncertainty because they do not know that God still speaks and reveals His will to those who seek Him. Today, intentionally share the message of Christ with at least one person. Encourage them to surrender their life to Jesus and to seek God through His Word and prayer.
