An engagement ring is a symbol of love; a wedding ring represents a covenant or agreement. For others, dreaming of having an engagement or wedding ring can symbolise a cage, troubles, and difficulties. To dream of throwing away your engagement or wedding ring can mean several things. It connotes marital disappointment to come. It shows that you are breaking up affairs; it could be a sign of marital attack.

Your dream of throwing away your ring could indicate your plan to end the affair or break the marital vows. You are tired of that relationship with the man; you may have noticed that the man has betrayed or hurt you.

You may want to give up the relationship because you are incompatible with that person. A dream of throwing your engagement or wedding ring could mean that you want to break out from a problem that’s tying you down. You are tired of stagnation and limitation now; you are making efforts through prayers to free yourself and break out from that problem.

A ring sometimes can be a sign of burdens and chains, so if you throw one out of your finger, it may indicate your frustration and trouble in that affair. Maybe you feel the man is not a responsible person, noticed that he’s not trustworthy; the dream may represent insecurities or your dislike for a close person. You could break up with a person because you have found a better person for marriage.

However, whatever might be your reason for throwing off your wedding ring in the dream, it could be better addressed with prayers and repentance of sin. However, the lesson behind this dream is that it is important to know that before you enter a relationship or marry a person, make sure you are fully ready and also make sure you pray very well to know the mind of God towards your marriage with that man.

It may be that God wants you to marry him or does not want you to marry him. Sometimes we go into marriage due to selfish motives. So throwing your ring is pregnant with lots of meaning, reflecting on our present emotions or circumstances, with the dream to find out if this is a good or bad sign.
