Suicide is a sin because it is self-murder and a one-way ticket to hell. People have suicidal thoughts probably because of loneliness, poverty, debt, failure, sickness, depression, bad marriage, etc. As a child of God, if you ever have suicidal thoughts, know that the devil is at work and wants to rob you of your glorious destiny.
Dreaming about committing suicide can indicate that you are troubled and helpless in your situation, struggling to live a happy life. Any suicide attempt is a voice of the devil assigned to silence and destroy you. God has not given you the power to take your own life, no matter how depressed you are. Look unto God, He is the burden bearer.
A dream that you failed a suicidal attempt shows that your time of death is not yet now; you still have a great destiny to fulfill here on earth. This means all attempts of the devil to destroy you have failed. Your destiny will not die in Jesus’ name. A dream that you failed a suicide attempt is a divine help discouraging you from taking a risky move that will cost your life.
If you are currently having suicidal thoughts, please reject the voice of death and confusion. God will not ask you to kill yourself; this can only be the devil. If this dream is frequently coming, please go for deliverance or ask a man of God to pray, because it means that the enemy has programmed a particular problem that will end your life.
You will see the end of affliction in Jesus’ name. In Psalm 31:1, in thee, O Lord, do I put my trust; let me never be ashamed, deliver me in thy righteousness.
I pray for you now that you will not end in shame in Jesus’ name. The expectation of the enemy towards you shall fail in Jesus’ name. When you have a dream of committing suicide, it’s trying to let you know that our problem is trying to push you to the wrong places for a solution.
Jesus Christ is the yoke breaker, He is a destiny restorer, just believe that this problem will go and come back no more. You will triumph over your problem at last in Jesus’ name.

- By the blood of Jesus, I defeat the agent of death trying to take my life in Jesus’ name
- By the grace of God, the devil and its host shall not prevail over me in Jesus’ name
- I decree that the problem shall not swallow my joy in Jesus’ name
- Any voice that says kill yourself, there is nothing in this life, go back to the sender in Jesus’ name.
