Dream About Earth Being Destroyed

Genesis 19: 24-25

²⁴ Then the Lord rained upon Sodom and upon Gomorrah brimstone and fire from the Lord out of heaven;

²⁵ And he overthrew those cities, and all the plain, and all the inhabitants of the cities, and that which grew upon the ground.

Genesis 18: 20-21

²⁰ And the Lord said, Because the cry of Sodom and Gomorrah is great, and because their sin is very grievous;

²¹ I will go down now, and see whether they have done altogether according to the cry of it, which is come unto me; and if not, I will know.

Did you dream of seeing the earth being destroyed? The earth represents our world, our life, our marriage, our job, our homes, our ministry, our safety. For example, Noah’s ark represents his own world. In Genesis 19, God destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah because of their sexual sin.

In the book of Genesis 6, the bible makes us understand that God used a flood to destroy the earth; his purpose was to wipe out wickedness in the land, and he protected Noah and his family during the destruction. In this, Noah offered a sacrifice to God and promised never to destroy the earth by flood.

Sacrifice is a powerful way to avert danger and use it to seek God’s face. To see the earth being destroyed may be a sign that your life will undergo a major change. That is, the end of something may usher in the beginning of a new thing.

On the other hand, seeing the earth destroyed is a warning or a sign of God’s anger regarding someone’s sinful act. If you are feeling scared, you may use this time to ask God to have mercy on you, forgive you of your sin as you make the effort to confess and repent from your sin because you may not know when the rapture will take place on earth. Seeing the earth being destroyed may signify attacks on your marriage.

This dream appears to indicate there is danger ahead and an indication that you are not safe from trouble the enemy is bringing to you. Your sin, your worries can also trigger this dream, as well as financial problems, wickedness, unforgiveness and depression.

The earth being destroyed can be a result of many things in waking life, such as death, stagnation, obstacles, or other significant losses in life. Another meaning to this dream could be that something good in your life is about to fall apart and be destroyed; it could be your marriage, house, career, etc. and sometimes a dream of the earth being destroyed may be a sign of your fear and anxieties about the future.

It can be a reminder to be courageous and positive about your future. This dream can be worrying when it appears that you have not yet fulfilled your purpose on earth. For example, if you are facing a challenging situation in your life, the dream may be urging you to take action and address the problems on time.

For others, the dream may be a sign of fundamental problems which may affect your life and destiny combined. You need to pray fervently so that God can arise and repair or fix any issues in your life. In conclusion, when you see the earth being destroyed, it might be a sign of spiritual warfare, a warning sign that you have offended God. Please ask for mercy and forgiveness of sin and try to be obedient.

4. O Lord, by your mercy repair any damage done to my life by the wicked
5. Every tribulation waiting to attack me, backfire in Jesus’ name.
