Dream About Surrogate Mother

Genesis 16: 1-3

Now Sarai Abram’s wife bare him no children: and she had an handmaid, an Egyptian, whose name was Hagar.

² And Sarai said unto Abram, Behold now, the Lord hath restrained me from bearing: I pray thee, go in unto my maid; it may be that I may obtain children by her. And Abram hearkened to the voice of Sarai.

³ And Sarai Abram’s wife took Hagar her maid the Egyptian, after Abram had dwelt ten years in the land of Canaan, and gave her to her husband Abram to be his wife.

A surrogate mother is a woman who has agreed to give birth to a baby on behalf of another person. Children are the fruits of every marriage. A marriage without a child becomes a tough challenge. Many people ask if it is right or wrong for a woman to carry and give birth to a baby for another person. The first surrogacy was found in Genesis 16. Abraham and Sarah are the first parents who used a surrogate mother (Hagar) to have a child.

Sarah was unable to have children, so she asked her servant Hagar to become the surrogate mother of her child. A dream about a surrogate mother can be very disturbing. If you are a woman, your dream can indicate fertility and your desire to become a mother of your own or represent your concern for couples having issues in childbearing.

To dream of being a surrogate mother may signify that you are ready to care for someone and embark on a life-challenging experience; it may also represent your concern to carry someone’s burden and goal and make it successful. In the body of Christ, surrogacy is not a topic that is preached because it can easily kill one’s faith in trusting God for a miracle.

Dreaming about being a surrogate mother may mean that you are ready to sacrifice yourself through pain to ensure that your loved ones get their expectations in marriage. However, if you are considering surrogacy, you need to make sure you and your partner think about this. Nowhere in the bible does God directly forbid surrogacy; however, see from Genesis 16 that it can cause problems.

When a husband and wife get married, they become one flesh. If they have any children, it will be the two of them who are the parents. According to the bible, marriage is to be between one man and one woman, not a man and two women.

Anything outside of this union goes against God’s design for marriage. A dream about a surrogate mother can mean that one has to sacrifice their own needs in favour of others to help and save them out of fear based on mutual agreement.

On the other hand, a dream of being a surrogate mother can be a test from God. However, if you are married with children, this can mean that you need to love your children and protect your home. Surrogacy is not often a topic of discussion in the media, but at one point, people come across this in their dreams.

It is important to note that this dream may not actually be connected to surrogacy but to something else. Just to prove the amount of love you have for your fellow.

7. Evil strangers living inside my body to hinder efforts to get pregnant, come out and die in Jesus’ name.
