One of the greatest dangers in life is not the enemy you know, but the one you do not know. An open enemy may confront you directly, but a secret enemy works quietly behind the scenes against you.

Such people may appear friendly in public, celebrate with you outwardly, and even speak kindly to you, while secretly opposing your progress. There are some people you will never know they are against you until God begin to reveal their hidden motives in your dream.

Some enemies may appear as snake, frog, rat to attack you in the dream. While God will use this dream to caution you. This is why the Bible encourages believers to be spiritually discerning and prayerful. God does not want His children to walk in ignorance, because ignorance gives the enemy an advantage.

Not everyone who smiles at you truly supports you, not everyone who gives you something truly does it freely without having something in return, not everyone who wants your best interest at heart. Some people hide their hidden motives, but the moment, they didn’t get what they wanted, they show it easily.

God often uses dream to expose many things to us. Many people have had dreams in which they saw familiar faces trying to harm them, pursuing them, stealing from them, poisoning their food, preventing them from reaching a destination, or plotting against them.

These are dreams exposing the works of the enemies. God will not expose your enemy just to entertain you, but He does that with a purpose. The purpose is to know who are for you and who are against you. To know who truly loves you and who truly wants to take advantage of you.

The purpose is to know who you should distance. And Those who have been delaying your progress are people close to you. The people who are closest to you often know your strengths and your weaknesses. They know what makes you happy and what hurts you the most.

They know how to get your attention, influence your decisions, and even discourage you from pursuing God’s purpose for your life. Because they know your habits, routines, and expectations, they may also know the best time to take advantage of your kindness or generosity.

This is why you must ask God for wisdom and discernment in your relationships. Secret enemies are not always strangers. Sometimes they are people who pretend to celebrate your success in public but secretly resent your progress in private.

They smile with you, applaud your achievements, and speak kindly to your face, yet behind your back they spread rumours, criticize your efforts, and hope for your downfall. The Bible warns us that not everyone who speaks well of us genuinely desires our success.

They are the people that loves to be around you just to know the secret of your life, and use the information to competite with you or use it to fight you. Some people deliberately stay close to you, not because they truly care about you, but because they want access to information about your life.

They observe your plans, study your weaknesses, monitor your progress, and gather personal details that they may later use to compete with you, frustrate your efforts, or undermine your reputation. This is why you should not reveal every plan, testimony, or secret to everyone.

Ask God for the wisdom to know what to share, when to share it, and with whom to share it. Not everyone in your circle has the same heart toward you. While God brings destiny helpers into your life, the enemy also seeks opportunities to use people to distract, discourage, or oppose God’s purpose.

Stay close to God, and He will reveal every relationship that deserves your trust and every one that requires caution. God’s purpose in revealing hidden things is not to fill us with fear but to prepare us for victory. Whenever God exposes the works of darkness, He also provides the grace, wisdom, and strength to overcome them.

He exposes the best way to flee away from them. Any person that hates you but does not want to leave you is your enemy. Look at this: Before Haman could destroy Mordecai, God had already begun to reverse the evil plan. Before Saul could capture David, God continually revealed the enemy’s movements and preserved His servant.

The God who protected His people in Bible days is still protecting His children today. Throughout the Bible, God repeatedly revealed hidden plots of the enemy to protect His people.

He exposed conspiracies against David, revealed the dreams of Pharaoh to Joseph, uncovered Nebuchadnezzar’s secret dream through Daniel, and warned Joseph in a dream to flee with the child Jesus into Egypt. These examples remind us that God is never ignorant of the plans of the wicked.

Before the enemy carries out his assignment, God is able to reveal what His children need to know so they can pray, prepare, and walk in victory. One way God may alert His people is through dreams.  At times, certain dreams may expose unhealthy relationships, secret enemy, deception, or situations that require wisdom and prayer.

Sometimes secret enemies disguise themselves as advisers. They offer suggestions that appear reasonable but are designed to divert you from God’s direction.Every believer must learn to distinguish between good advice and godly direction.

Always weigh every counsel against the Word of God and seek the guidance of the Holy Spirit before making important decisions. One of the enemy’s strategies is to plant discouraging voices around a person. There are people who constantly remind you of your failures, question your calling, criticize every step of progress, and predict that nothing good will come from your efforts.

Their words gradually weaken your confidence if you continually listen to them. Caleb and Joshua refused to agree with the negative report of the ten spies because they chose to believe God’s promise above the opinions of men. Be careful whose voice shapes your thinking.

Not everyone who has access to your life deserves access to your private information. Jesus Himself demonstrated this principle. Although He loved the multitudes, He did not entrust Himself to everyone because He knew what was in the heart of man (John 2:24–25).

This teaches us that love and wisdom must work together. You can love people sincerely without exposing every detail about your life, your finances, your family, or your future plans.

Many people have suffered painful disappointments because they trusted the wrong people. They shared confidential information with those who lacked integrity, only to discover later that their private conversations had become public discussion.

This is why the Bible says, “A talebearer revealeth secrets: but he that is of a faithful spirit concealeth the matter” (Proverbs 11:13). One of the qualities of a trustworthy person is the ability to keep confidence. Pray that God will surround you with people who will protect your interests rather than exploit your vulnerability.

There are people who celebrate your struggles but become uncomfortable when God begins to lift you. They were happy to walk with you when you had nothing, but the moment your life begins to change, jealousy quietly enters their hearts. Instead of rejoicing over your testimony, they begin to compete with you.

They compare their lives with yours and secretly hope that your progress will slow down. Never allow the jealousy of others to stop you from pursuing God’s purpose. Continue to walk humbly, giving all the glory to God. Sometimes God exposes secret enemies by allowing their true character to reveal itself.

A person who once pretended to support you may suddenly begin to oppose every good decision you make. Their words become negative, their attitude changes, and their actions no longer reflect genuine love. Do not be surprised when this happens. Time often reveals what words cannot.

The Lord has a way of bringing hidden motives into the light without you forcing the process. Be careful not to mistake correction for opposition. Not everyone who disagrees with you is your enemy. God sometimes uses faithful friends, wise counsellors, pastors, or family members to correct your mistakes and keep you from making costly decisions.

A true friend may tell you what you need to hear rather than what you want to hear. Learn to distinguish between constructive correction that builds you up and destructive criticism that seeks to pull you down.
