DAY 25: A CRY FOR MERCY TO CANCEL BAD DREAMS

Psalm 51:1-2

Have mercy upon me, O God, according to thy lovingkindness: according unto the multitude of thy tender mercies blot out my transgressions.  Wash me throughly from mine iniquity, and cleanse me from my sin.

Isaiah 54:17

No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their righteousness is of me, saith the LORD.

I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help. My help cometh from the LORD, which made heaven and earth. INTRODUCTION

Dreams serve as a spiritual monitoring system in a person’s life. They are a realm where spiritual activities take place and a channel through which communication occurs. Through dreams, God can instruct, warn, guide, and help His people.

Sadly, the same realm can also be manipulated by the enemy to attack, confuse, and afflict lives. This is why bad dreams have become a common experience for many. Bad dreams have robbed people of their blessings, hindered destinies, and disrupted divine plans and expectations.

Many have struggled in life not because they are lazy or prayerless, but because their dream life has been polluted. When bad dreams become frequent and persistent, it is a clear signal that something is wrong and mercy is needed.

When attacks begin to occur in your dreams at the edge of your breakthrough or miracle, it is time to cry for mercy. When you discover that prayers you once prayed against bad dreams no longer produce results, you must cry for mercy. When your dreams are filled with confusion, deception, fear, restlessness, stagnation, or embarrassment, crying to God for deliverance becomes urgent.

Crying for mercy easily attracts God’s attention to your dream battles. A cry is not casual prayer; it is a prayer that comes from deep pain, burden, and desperation. When you cry, God listens. When you cry, heaven responds.

Therefore, ask the Lord to arise and cancel every bad dream attacking your life. As you cry for mercy in this season, may God arise and take over your dream life. May every altar sponsoring bad dreams against you be silenced. May every negative dream pattern be broken by fire.

From tonight, your sleep will be peaceful, your dreams will be victorious, and your mornings will be filled with joy and strength. By the mercy of God, your dream life is restored, your destiny is preserved, and your testimony is secured, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

CONFESSION

O Lord my God, I come before Your throne acknowledging that I am a sinner saved by grace, and I cry for Your mercy to arise and deliver me from every evil dream and nightmare that has been tormenting my sleep.

I confess that without Your divine intervention, I am vulnerable to the manipulations of darkness during the night season, but through the blood of Jesus Christ, I have been given authority over every demonic invasion of my dream life.

I reject with every fiber of my being every negative dream that has been assigned against me by the forces of wickedness. I renounce every evil projection, every satanic program, and every demonic manipulation that has been planted into my mind through bad dreams.

I declare that I am not a victim of nightmare terrorism, and I refuse to allow the enemy to use my sleep as a gateway to program defeat, fear, sickness, poverty, or any form of affliction into my destiny.

O Lord, I cry for Your mercy to arise with healing in Your wings and cancel every bad dream that has been assigned to come to pass in my life. Every dream of death, every dream of failure, every dream of tragedy, and every dream of backwardness that the enemy has projected to manifest in my waking reality, I command you to be nullified, revoked, and permanently cancelled by the superior power of the blood of Jesus Christ.

What I have seen in evil dreams shall not become my testimony. What has been projected in nightmares shall not materialize in my life. What has been programmed through demonic sleep manipulation shall not come to fulfillment.

By the blood of Jesus that speaks better things than the voice of evil dreams, I decree that no power of darkness will manipulate my day. No monitoring spirit will gather intelligence to coordinate attacks against me. No afflicting demon will execute the assignments against me through nightmares.

No witchcraft arrow will prosper against the blessings that God has prepared for me. I declare that my days are ordered by the Lord, my steps are directed by divine wisdom, and my blessings cannot be cancelled by the schemes of hell or the projections of bad dreams.

As from this moment, I receive by faith the gift of peaceful sleep and victorious dreams. I decree that my nights will no longer be seasons of torment but times of divine encounter. My sleep will no longer be a battlefield but a place of rest and restoration. My dreams will no longer be instruments of fear but channels of revelation, instruction, and prophetic insight.

I declare that I will lie down in peace and wake up in victory, for the Lord alone makes me dwell in safety. My dream life is sanctified by the blood of Jesus, protected by angelic guards, and sealed by divine mercy. In Jesus’ mighty name, Amen.

PRAISE AND WORSHIP

For the next ten to fifteen minutes, lift your voice in worship to the One who neither slumbers nor sleeps, yet gives His beloved rest. Magnify the name of Jesus whose blood has power to cancel every evil dream and whose mercy triumphs over the judgements of darkness.

Exalt the Lord who watches over you by day and shields you by night, who commands His angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways. Sing hymns and spiritual songs that declare the faithfulness of God, the protection of His presence, and the victory you have through the blood of Jesus.

Whether you worship through songs like “What a Friend We Have in Jesus,” “Great is Thy Faithfulness,” “It is Well with My Soul,” or any song that flows from your spirit, let your worship be genuine, fervent, and filled with expectation.

Dance before the Lord in celebration of your deliverance from night terrors. Clap your hands in declaration of triumph over monitoring spirits and dream manipulators. Lift your hands in surrender and gratitude to the God who gives His beloved sweet sleep and fills their nights with songs of deliverance.

As you worship, allow the presence of God to saturate your spirit, to cleanse your mind from every traumatic memory of bad dreams, and to fill you with divine peace that surpasses all understanding. Let your praise be a weapon that scatters every demonic council gathered to orchestrate nightmares against you.

Worship until you sense a shift in the atmosphere, until you feel the weight of oppression lift, until you know in your spirit that victory is assured and that your nights will never be the same again. As you worship, allow the presence of God to saturate your spirit, to cleanse your mind from every traumatic memory of bad dreams, and to fill you with divine peace that surpasses all understanding.

1. Thou mercy of God arise and intervene in my dream life and save me from destruction, in the name of Jesus.

2. O Lord, by Your mercy, cancel every bad dream that has been programmed against my life and destiny this year, in the name of Jesus.

3. Father, let Your mercy wipe away every evil and scaring activities taking place in my dreams, be cancelled, in the name of Jesus.

4. O Lord, arise by Your mercy and silence every demonic altar speaking against me through evil dreams, in the name of Jesus.

60. I cancel every dream of being late, missing opportunities, or arriving after things have finished, die, in the name of Jesus.

61. Every dream where I am walking barefoot, wearing torn clothes, or appearing shabby that programs poverty mentality and financial disgrace, be cancelled by God’s mercy, in the name of Jesus.

62. O Lord, by Your mercy, let every unresolved night battle in my life come to a permanent end, in the name of Jesus.

63. Every bad dream announcing shame, reproach, or embarrassment, be cancelled by divine mercy, in the name of Jesus.

64. Father, let Your mercy destroy every evil mirror through which my life is projected in dreams, in the name of Jesus.

65. By Your mercy, O God, disconnect me from every stranger that appears in my dreams for evil purposes, in the name of Jesus.

123. Every bad dream speaking delay at the edge of breakthrough, be cancelled by mercy, in the name of Jesus.

124. By Your mercy, O Lord, I decree total freedom, sound sleep, and godly dreams, in the name of Jesus.

PRAYER ASSIGNMENT

Before you begin praying, if you have anointing oil available, take it and anoint your head, your forehead, your hands, and your feet. As you apply the oil, make this powerful declaration with faith and authority: “O Lord, let this anointing oil neutralize every power of Satan operating in my life. Let this oil secure and protect my glory from every attack of the enemy.

Let this oil create a seal of divine protection over my mind, over my dreams, over my destiny, and over everything that concerns me. Let this oil carry the power of the Holy Spirit to sanitize my sleep, to purify my dream life, and to establish heavenly government over my nights. In Jesus’ name.”

After anointing yourself, spend the first ten to fifteen minutes in worship and thanksgiving. Praise God for His faithfulness, for His protection, for His mercy that never fails. Then proceed to write all the bad dreams you had recently and pray to cancel them by the blood of Jesus.
