Opening Prayer:

O Lord, as I open Your Word, let every veil of darkness covering my favour be torn away. Let the light of Your favour break through every human or spiritual blockage assigned to limit me. Speak to me, deliver me, and open my destiny gates by fire, in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen.

Favour is one of the greatest currencies of destiny. When God decides to lift a man, He does not give him money first, He gives him favour. Favour opens doors that strength cannot open.

Favour raises men from the back to the front.  Favour turns rejected stones into chief cornerstones. But the tragedy is this: whenever God wants to favour you, someone or something will often rise to resist that favour.

There are people whose assignment in the spirit is to block your rising, choke your help, and frustrate your opportunities. These are forces that stand at the gate of your favour and say, “You will not be helped.”

They manipulate your name, your image, your relationships, your progress, and even your spiritual atmosphere so that favour will not find you. They are like the princes that stood against Daniel’s angel for 21 days.

They are like the Samballats and Tobiahs that mock your efforts. They are like Pharaoh who said, “They will not go anywhere.” Behind many unexplained delays, sudden rejections, financial disappointments, and emotional frustrations is often a human or demonic agent positioned to block favour and connection.

Favour can be blocked through jealousy, witchcraft, household wickedness, evil declarations, monitoring spirits, satanic networks, and even through people you trust. Sometimes it is not that you are not gifted, it is that someone has vowed that your gift will not shine.

It is not that you are not working hard, it is that someone has spiritually covered your star. It is not that you don’t deserve good things, it is that someone is spiritually turning people’s hearts away from you.

This is why midnight prayers become a spiritual necessity. Midnight is the hour of spiritual legislation, the hour when destinies are decided, and the hour when demonic activities are at their peak.

If your favour is being blocked by a human agent, a spiritual enemy, a jealous personality, a household witch, or a demonic altar, you must rise at midnight to break their grip by force.

Midnight prayer is where you command favour to return, scatter the resistance, expose the blocker, tear down the evil altar, and summon divine helpers back into your life.

There are people who are uncomfortable with your rising. They feel threatened by your potential. They can see your star even before you see it yourself. There are environments where your favour irritates people. Instead of celebrating you, they try to cage you. Instead of blessing you, they try to block you.

This is why favour must be protected like a treasure. Favour attracts both destiny helpers and destiny blockers. Joseph’s brothers didn’t hate him because he was evil; they hated him because of his dream, because of the favour of the father upon him. When someone carries the grace of favour, they also carry unusual battles.

And because of that, they begin to fight you silently, secretly, strategically, spiritually. Some fight you through witchcraft. Some fight you through manipulation. Some fight you by carrying your name to altars. Some fight you by raising demonic prayers against your progress. Some fight you by closing the hearts of your helpers. Some fight you by speaking evil against you so that favour will not land on your head.

When someone is blocking your favour, your spirit will know. Things that used to work before suddenly begin to fail. People who loved you suddenly change. Doors that were about to open suddenly close against you.

Promises made to you are suddenly cancelled for no reason. Relationships that should bless you suddenly become cold. You feel invisible, ignored, rejected, sabotaged, delayed, or pushed aside. It is not ordinary. Something or someone is standing as a spiritual gatekeeper against your rising.

In the spiritual world, favour is a fragrance. When God decorates a man with favour, he begins to attract the right people, the right opportunities, and the right relationships. But when the enemy pours spiritual dirt on that fragrance, the person becomes repulsive to those who should help them. Some powers wipe favour away from people’s foreheads.

Some replace the garment of favour with the garment of rejection. Some exchange the star of a man with a star of struggle. And some use evil clouds to cover a person so that nobody will notice them.

This is why midnight prayer is not an option, it is a requirement. Midnight is the hour when you recover your stolen garments, retrieve your divine oil, uncover hidden enemies, and confront those that say you will not rise. Midnight prayer is where the destiny of a man is reprogrammed, restored, and re-established.

You must understand that favour can be transferred, diverted, interrupted, or caged if you allow the enemy access. This is why the Bible warns in Ecclesiastes 10:8 that “whoso breaketh an hedge, a serpent shall bite him.”

When your spiritual hedge is broken whether through ignorance, spiritual weakness, wrong association, or satanic attack, the serpent of disfavour can enter and attack you. It bites your opportunities, bites your relationships, bites your financial open doors, and bites your visibility.

Suddenly those who should bless you begin to hate you or feel offended at you without reason. Suddenly your applications are rejected again and again. Suddenly your ideas no longer attract support and good connections. This is more than physical. It is the activity of a spiritual personality trying to block your favour.

There are people who, through jealousy and envy, become vessels the enemy uses to shut down your favour. You must never underestimate the jealousy of human beings. The brothers of Joseph looked at him and concluded that he must not rise.

They plotted, conspired, and even sold him all because they were uncomfortable with his favour. Many times, the person blocking your favour is someone close, someone aware of your potential, someone intimidated by your rising, someone who cannot stand the idea of you going farther than them. And because the enemy knows this weakness, he uses it.

Some people block your favour by speaking against you in secret places. One conversation, one negative statement, one slanderous remark can shut down a door for a season. This is why you must not be careless with your associations.

If the devil cannot remove you physically, he will try to rearrange the hearts of people against you. He will send someone to whisper lies about you; he will sow seeds of suspicion, bitterness, or resentment just to ensure favour does not reach you.

Sometimes, the blockage of favour is not done by a human being consciously, but through a spiritual legal ground. When there is a curse, a covenant, an confessed sin, or a demonic claim in the bloodline, your favour can be blocked. It becomes a cycle: the same struggles your father had, you now face.

The same rejection your mother suffered, you now wrestle with in your life. The same pattern of disappointment in their life repeats itself in your life. Not because you are not favoured, but because there is a resistance sitting at the gate of your blessing.

This is why Jesus said in Luke 11:22: “But when a stronger than he shall come upon him, and overcome him, he taketh from him all his armour wherein he trusted.” There is always a strongman resisting favour. You cannot negotiate with a strongman; but you can only confront him. You cannot beg a spiritual gatekeeper; but you can only overthrow him. Until a stronger power rises, the blockage remains.

Every believer must recognize that favour flows where warfare is consistent. Esther received favour, but she still fasted for three days. Nehemiah received favour before the king, but he still prayed day and night. Daniel was highly favoured, but he still warred in the spirit.

Elijah walked in favour, but he still prayed until heaven opened. Favour does not excuse you from warfare; favour requires warfare because the enemy hates anything that lifts you.

When someone is blocking your favour, your spirit becomes restless. You sense that something is wrong. You feel the weight of delay in your life. Doors you once walked through easily now become difficult. Good calls stop coming. Opportunities dry unexplinable. Even people who love you begin acting strange. That restlessness is the Holy Spirit telling you that your favour has been tampered with.

But hear this: your lost favour can be restored, revived, recovered, and reactivated. The God who gave Esther favour can give you favour. The God who turned the heart of Pharaoh to favour Joseph can turn the heart of your helpers. The God who made the king unable to sleep until he favoured Mordecai can make your helpers restless until they remember you. No human being can permanently block what heaven has approved.

When someone rises to block your favour, God rises to judge them. God does not negotiate with those who resist the advancement of His children. He removes kings and sets up kings. He brings down the proud and lifts the humble. Anyone who chooses to stand as a barrier to your favour becomes an enemy of divine purpose. God does not ask you to plead with them; He asks you to pray. He asks you to decree. He asks you to war in the spirit. Because favour is the season of divine remembrance, and Satan hates remembrance.

There is a level of prayer that provokes violent favour. There is a level of prayer that overturns satanic verdicts. There is a level of prayer that breaks the manipulation of human beings. There is a level of prayer that forces your favour into manifestation.

That is why midnight prayer is dangerous. Midnight is the time when altars speak, covens gather, and spiritual transactions take place. Midnight is the hour when you rise as a warrior to dismantle every personality seating on your favour.

When you begin to pray at midnight, you announce to the kingdom of darkness that your favour cannot be hidden. You declare that your star will shine. You enforce God’s decree that your destiny will not be delayed. You take back your spiritual keys. You retrieve your divine approval. You command your destiny gates to open. You force any person blocking your favour to either repent or be removed.

Tonight, as this word enters your spirit, may the fire of God locate every human or spiritual personality blocking your favour. May the Holy Ghost move into any room, shrine, altar, or coven where your name has been taken. May every satanic signature against your rising be wiped away.

May every demonic padlock be smashed. May every ancestral power resisting your favour collapse completely. The same favour that lifted Joseph from prison to palace will lift you. The same favour that selected Esther among many will select you. The same favour that made David remembered will remember you. The same favour that singled out Mary will single you out.

Your season of blocked favour is over. Now begins your season of divine visibility. Your life begin to shine. Your name begin to speak well in the mind of your helpers. Your destiny begin to open to receive opportunities. Your helpers begin to show up to help you.  Your favour begin to overflow. Heaven begin to connect great men to you.

When you pray at midnight against the blocker of your favour: The person fighting you will be spiritually exposed. The covering over your star will be torn away. The blockers of favour will be scattered by fire. Angels of favour will be released to you.  People who forgot you will remember you speedily. Destiny helpers will be stirred to take action towards you.

There are people who have vowed in their wickedness that you will not rise above them. They hate your progress because it threatens their control. They hate your favour because it breaks their pride. They hate your rising because it exposes their insecurity.

But tonight, through midnight prayers filled with Holy Ghost fire, the Lord will overturn every blocking power in your life. The wickedness targeted against your favour will backfire. The embargo on your rising will break. The chains placed on your destiny will melt away. And the same people who said you will not rise will watch the hand of God decorate your life with uncommon favour.

This is not the season to sleep carelessly. This is the season to pray aggressively. Midnight prayer is where divine verdicts are issued. Tonight, you must declare: “My favour will not be blocked again!”

Put a small drop of anointing oil on your forehead. Declare: “I receive the oil of acceptance, the oil of remembrance, the oil of favour!” This replaces the mark of rejection.

Hold a physical key in your right hand at midnight. Pray on the key. Use the key to open your physical door. Pray like this: As I open the door, I open the door of my favour, in the name of Jesus.

83. O Lord, in every place where my favour has been caged, tied, buried, or locked away, let Your thunder break open those spiritual prisons and release my blessings without delay.

90. Any spiritual padlock used to lock my financial favour, marital favour, career favour, or ministry favour, break open by thunder. I retrieve all that belongs to me.
