Psalm 35:1

“Plead my cause, O Lord, with them that strive with me: fight against those that fight against me.”

 

The word of the Lord declares in Obadiah 1:17, “Upon Mount Zion there shall be deliverance, and holiness; and the house of Jacob shall possess their possessions.”

Midnight is the hour when destiny warriors rise. Midnight is the time when you no longer pray like a civilian but like a soldier. Midnight prayers break cycles. Midnight prayers uncover hidden enemies. Midnight prayers expose evil altars. Midnight prayers dry up ancestral rivers. Midnight prayers disconnect you from generational burdens.

It is at midnight that the gates of your father’s house tremble. It is at midnight that your chains lose their power by the order of Paul and Silas. It is at midnight that strongmen begin to lose their ground and authority. The strongman thrives in quietness; he cannot survive when fire is burning.

Some of you are the first in your family to attempt what nobody attempted. You are the first to chase a big dream. You are the first to become serious with God. You are the first to seek deliverance. You are the first to break the family limitation. So the strongman says, “Who gave you the right?” But Heaven says, “I have chosen you to break the pattern.”

INTRODUCTION

There are battles that do not start with you; they start before you. There are patterns that did not begin in your lifetime; they are inherited. Many destinies are fighting wars they did not provoke. Why? Because every bloodline has a gatekeeper either divine or demonic. When that gatekeeper is evil, the Bible calls such a power a strongman.

A strongman is not a fairy tale. It is not an imagination. A strongman is a spiritual personality that enforces evil patterns, delays breakthroughs, blocks marriages, frustrates progress, and oppresses entire generations. Jesus Himself did not ignore the reality of strongmen.

He said in Matthew 12:29, “How can one enter into a strongman’s house and spoil his goods, except he first bind the strongman?” This means: you cannot take what belongs to you unless the strongman resisting you is overpowered.

If you feel that despite your prayers, something keeps pulling you back. If you sense that in your father’s house the same problems repeat like poverty, sickness, failure, marital crisis, untimely death. If you notice that whenever you are close to breakthrough, something strange always cuts you down.

If dreams show snakes, masquerades, old houses, backward movements, or ancient altars. Then you are dealing with a household strongman, and your solution is not casual prayer, your solution is MIDNIGHT PRAYER, because certain powers do not respond to gentle prayers.

The strongman from your father’s house operates like a spiritual landlord demanding rent you did not owe. He stands at the door of destiny to resist progress. He says, “In this family nobody will rise.” But tonight, because you are rising, his reign must end. Midnight is the hour when spiritual transactions intensify; the strongman who attacks you does not sleep, so you too must rise in the night to challenge him in the spirit.

A strongman is a stubborn power. A strongman is a wicked personality in the spirit realm that has studied your family for generations. He knows your grandfather; he studied your father; now he is studying you. He knows your weaknesses, your patterns, your fears, your struggles. He enforces limitation to continue a pattern in your lineage. But the good news is that God never reveals a strongman except He is ready to dethrone him.

When Jesus spoke about binding the strongman, He was speaking to believers who must understand spiritual warfare. Many Christians love God but are too gentle in battle. They whisper prayers where they should roar. They negotiate where they should command. They explain where they should decree. A strongman is not broken by silent Christianity. A strongman fears fire, not grammar.

Some of you were doing well until you began to make progress. Suddenly strange sickness appeared. Suddenly helpers stopped calling. Suddenly opportunities dried up. Suddenly your dream-life changed. Why? Because the moment your star began to rise, the strongman woke up and said, “Who gave you permission to rise?” But I prophesy: Any strongman monitoring your rising shall fall tonight in the name of Jesus.

Beloved, household strongmen are responsible for battles that do not break easily in most families especially in father’s side. That is why some people pray for years and nothing changes because the strongman standing at the root has not been confronted and completely defeated. But hear this: No matter how long the strongman has stood in your family, the power of God is older enough to crush the foundational powers.

The strongman in your father’s house understands your destiny more than you. He knows that if you cross this current season, your story will change forever. That is why he fights your prayer life. That is why he fights your dream life. That is why he attacks you at the edge of breakthrough. That is why he sponsors discouragement, confusion, and spiritual weakness. He wants you quiet so he can continue ruling. But tonight, Heaven is empowering you to rise.

Isaiah 49:25 says, “Even the captives of the mighty shall be taken away, and the prey of the terrible shall be delivered: for I will contend with those who contend with you.” This is God Himself taking up your case.

As you are growing, it’s important to understand your family settings. Every family carries a spiritual handwriting. Some carry blessings  others carry battles. For some, it is marital delay. For others, poverty. For others, mysterious sickness, premature death, stagnation, promise-and-fail, non-achievement, constant rejection, and shame.

POWER OF THE FATHER’S HOUSE

When the powers of your father’s house rise against your glory, they are not rising because you are weak; they are rising because they can see the star God planted inside you. Satan does not waste his resources fighting empty vessels. He fights those who carry destiny. He fights those who carry prophecy.

He fights those who carry generational assignments. He fights those whose rising will bring deliverance to others. This is why, sometimes, your warfare seems heavier than the battles of people around you. You are not normal. You belong to a prophetic lineage of greatness. And the enemy has sensed it.

The household strongman is not after your comfort; he is after your crown. He is not attacking your sleep; he is attacking your star. He is not frustrating your finances; he is frustrating your future. He is not delaying your marriage; he is delaying your mantle.

He knows that the moment your glory manifests, the entire spiritual equation in your family changes. The moment your light appears, the darkness that ruled for generations must give way. The moment your voice rises, ancestral silence will break. You become a threat to the throne of wickedness that has sat over your bloodline for years.

This is why God does not just call you to be saved, He calls you to war. He does not just call you to pray, He calls you to fight. You are not the continuation of family battles; you are the interruption. You are not the extension of ancestral patterns; you are the one God has raised to terminate them. You are not the victim of your father’s house; you are the warrior chosen to rewrite the story.

The enemy knows this. And so he studies your dreams. He studies your seasons. He studies your movements. He studies your weaknesses. He studies your relationships. He studies your emotional triggers. He studies your spiritual gaps. He looks for any legal ground that can empower the foundational powers to keep your glory under control. But the Bible declares in Colossians 2:14 that the handwriting of ordinances written against you has been blotted out.

Every accusation standing on ancient altars loses its power once the blood of Jesus speaks. The blood does not only cleanse; the blood revokes. It does not only wash; it cancels. It does not only cover; it destroys.

When foundational powers attempt to bury your glory, heaven responds with a prophetic counterattack. The Spirit of God begins to stir your heart to pray more aggressively. He begins to reveal things through dreams.

He begins to expose family patterns you never noticed. He begins to allow discomfort so you do not settle. He begins to make you restless until you rise to confront what your parents never confronted or defeated. This is why spiritual sensitivity is important, and sometimes, what you call trouble is actually divine awakening. God is stirring you because He wants to release you.

The Power of Great Glory In A Family

Some people carry a glory of leadership, but the powers of their father’s house buried it. Some carry a glory of wealth, but poverty swallowed it. Some carry a glory of marriage and fruitfulness, but ancestral altars fought it. Some carry a glory of international relevance, but household powers locked it inside a local cage.

Some carry a glory of healing, preaching, teaching, writing, creativity, innovation, business breakthrough yet the foundational powers of their lineage resist it because they know that if that glory emerges and shines, the kingdom of darkness will lose influence over that family forever.

But the Spirit of the Lord says in Micah 7:8, “Rejoice not over me, O my enemy; when I fall, I shall arise; when I sit in darkness, the Lord shall be a light unto me.” Your rising is certain. Your restoration is divine. Your deliverance is unavoidable. The powers contending with your glory will not survive the fire of God.

When you see the same affliction repeating itself in the life of a father, son, mother, daughter, uncle, cousin… you are not dealing with a natural problem. You are facing a foundational strongman. The powers of your father’s house attack glory because glory is the identity of a man. Glory is what makes people favour you without explanation. Glory is what announces you. Glory is what opens doors. Glory is what makes your destiny shine.

When glory is buried, a star becomes dark. When glory is hidden, opportunities disappear mysteriously. When glory is exchanged, a man becomes a slave in the territory where he ought to rule and propser. This is why foundational powers target the glory of a person in a family before they target anything else. They know that if your glory does not shine, your destiny cannot speak.

In Jeremiah 1:5, God said, Before I formed thee in the womb I knew thee. If God knew you before you were born, then the enemy also tries to study and monitor bloodlines before people manifest. They attack stars early. They manipulate foundations early. They wage war long before the victim becomes aware of the battle. And this is why many people grow up fighting wars they never started.

If you study the Scriptures, you will see that God never delivers a people until He first deals with the foundational strongman. Before Israel could step into Canaan, God dealt with Pharaoh. Before David could sit on the throne, Goliath had to fall. Before Paul could fulfil his ministry, the python spirit in the region had to be silenced. Before Abraham could walk in his covenant, the idols of his father’s house had to be forsaken.

Beloved, if a strongman in your father’s house is after you, it is because you carry something that threatens their kingdom. They do not attack empty vessels. They attack carriers of glory. They attack dreamers. They attack people who are chosen. They attack those who will rewrite the family story. Your rising is what provokes the resistance.

David said in Psalm 3:3, “But Thou, O Lord, art a shield for me; my glory, and the lifter up of mine head.” God is your Glory. He is the One who lifts heads that have been bowed by foundational battles. He is the One who breaks the altars of delay. He is the One who defeats the strongman of your father’s house. He is the One who restores stolen stars. He is the One who gives beauty for ashes. He is the One who rewrites the story of a man.

Today, the Lord is lifting your head. Today, He is lifting your voice. Today, He is lifting your star. Today, He is lifting your glory. The battles you have fought for years will bow to the fire of God. The chains that have held your destiny will melt. The altars that have resisted you will tremble. The strongman that said you will never rise will fall before your prayers.

For the Bible declares in Nahum 1:13, “For now will I break his yoke from off thee, and will burst thy bonds asunder.” God is not only breaking the yoke. He is bursting it. That means it can never be repaired or reattached. Once your glory is freed, it remains free. Once your destiny is released, it remains released. Once your star rises, it will never go down again.

This is why you must pray with fire during this programme. This is why you must take midnight prayers or your fasting seriously. This is why you must not allow foundational powers to have the last word over your life. God has invested too much inside you for your glory to be wasted. Heaven has written too many promises concerning you for your destiny to remain buried.

Every time you pray at midnight, you are turning up the light. Every time you fast, you are turning up the light. Every time you break evil covenants by scripture, you are turning up the light. Every time you renounce ancestral patterns, you are turning up the light.

And the Bible says in John 1:5, “The light shineth in darkness, and the darkness comprehended it not.” Darkness does not understand a rising star. Darkness cannot comprehend a delivered destiny. Darkness cannot resist the man whose glory is awakened.

Many people think foundational battles are permanent. No. The day you rise in truth and fire, the altar that fought your family must bow. The day you break the covenant with deep prayers, the strongman loses legal ground. The day you confront the root of the battle, the fruit of your destiny begins to flourish. The day you cry like Jabez cried, heaven responds with a new chapter.

The day you stand like Gideon stood, the altar collapses. The day you pray like Hannah prayed, your closed womb becomes a prophetic womb. The day you wrestle like Jacob wrestled, your identity changes forever.

Listen: You were not born to repeat the failures of your bloodline. You were born to introduce a new pattern of victory, favour, greatness, holiness, revival, prosperity, and divine relevance. This is why the enemy attacks you more than others. But what he does not know is that you are the one God has chosen to announce a new order in your family. You are the breaker. You are the restorer. You are the covenant carrier. You are the one God is using to silence the altars of your father’s house.

By the time God is through with you, your life will become a testimony that foundational powers are not final authorities. Your rising will announce that God has overturned ancient verdicts. Your testimony will become a prophetic signature for the next generation. You are not going to end where your father ended. You are not going to stop where others stopped. Your destiny will go further, rise higher, shine brighter, and speak louder.

And after all these battles, your glory will not just be restored, it will overflow. You will not die in this battle. You will not be swallowed. You will not be silenced. You will not be delayed. You will not be buried. The same God who raised Jesus from the grave is lifting your glory from every spiritual grave where it was hidden. You will shine, and your rising will be loud. You will shine, and your enemies will be confused. You will shine, and generations will know that God has visited your life.

Your glory will rise, your destiny will break forth, and your name will shine again. As you engage these midnight prayers and fasting exercise, the strongman will bow, the chains will break to pieces, and your glory will be restored by fire. You are moving from captivity to testimony, from struggle to breakthrough, and from delay to divine acceleration. Your glory must shine, and nothing can stop it.

In conclusion, every battle from your father’s house that has risen to hold your glory is already losing its power right now. What stopped others will not stop you. What buried the stars of your lineage will not bury yours in Jesus name. The God who delivers people from ancient altars and give them peace is the same God who is lifting you above every foundational limitation and set you free forever.

Fasting Instruction:

Embark on 3 days or 7 days fasting and prayers from 6am to 3pm daily, or 6am to 7pm daily. Write down any revelation you see during the prayers and pray over it again.  Let your first day be focused on the foundation. If you are just taking it as midnight prayers, please take it as a series for 7 days. These prayers are inspired and powered by the Holy Spirit to bring deliverance to any souls that take the prayers.

Morning Prayer (6am – 7am):

Tell the Lord to expose every power in your foundation resisting your destiny. Cry for mercy, cleansing, and spiritual separation from ancestral altars. Tell the Lord to seal every deliverance with fire. Pray for divine lifting and favour.

Afternoon Prayer (12pm – 12:30pm):

Pray against inherited battles, evil family patterns, and bloodline covenants fighting your progress. Ask God to disconnect you from the voice of your foundation. Pray for divine acceleration. Ask God to restore lost opportunities, lost years, and lost progress.

Midnight Fire Prayers (12am – 1am):

Use aggressive warfare prayers. Speak in tongues. Charge the atmosphere. Stand up and pray violently.

4. O Lord, whoever in my father’s house vowed that no one will rise above a certain level, let their wicked decree scatter and expire tonight in Jesus’ name!

5. Every household enemy using my surname, my bloodline, or my family identity to fight me, lose your power and be consumed by fire!

6. Any spirit of limitation inherited from my father’s house holding my destiny hostage, break now! I move into the land of divine enlargement.

16. O Lord, release Your consuming fire into my foundation and uproot every evil seed planted by ancestors, idols, or demonic powers. Let my foundation be rebuilt in Christ.

18. By the decree of heaven, I separate myself from the battles of my father’s house. From today, I walk in freedom, victory, favour, and unstoppable breakthrough. No ancestral battle will prevail over my destiny again in Jesus’ mighty name.

19. O Lord, every battle that started from my father’s house and is now manifesting in my life, scatter by fire and return to the sender now in the name of Jesus! I refuse to carry inherited battle and affliction.

20. Every evil altar in my father’s house speaking hardship, sickness, delay, poverty, or failure into my destiny, catch fire and be destroyed permanently!

21. O Lord, every evil pattern that defeated people in my father’s house but is now pursuing me, I command you to break by fire! My destiny will not repeat their battles.

22. Any power in my father’s house that says I will not rise beyond a certain level, you are a liar; fall down and die by thunder! My destiny will break that limits in my father’s house.

23. O God, arise and visit my foundation with fire. Let every hidden covenant, ritual, or family curse affecting my life be uprooted permanently.

24. Any evil voice crying against my rising from my father’s house, be silenced forever by the blood of Jesus!

25. Every spiritual prison where the destinies of people in my father’s house are locked, break open now! I bring out my glory by force.

29. Any family idol demanding sacrifices through poverty, failure, delay, or tears, your covenant is broken; your power is destroyed! I belong to Jesus and will surrender to Him alone.

30. O Lord, every secret battle in my father’s house that no one has been able to defeat by Your power, I conquer it tonight!

31. Every generational spirit that has vowed to repeat negative patterns in my life, your time is up; release me and die!

32. Any witchcraft monitoring system in my father’s house that tracks my progress, relationships, movement, or success, catch fire and be destroyed!

33. O God, arise and restore every blessing, opportunity, honour, and glory swallowed by foundational powers from my father’s side.

34, Every evil altar demanding my destiny because I come from that bloodline, scatter by thunder! My destiny is redeemed by the blood of the Lamb.

35. O Lord, release Your axe of fire into my foundation and cut down every ancestral tree bearing fruits of bitterness, failure, or trouble in my life.

36. Every evil mark or label placed upon people in my father’s house like the mark of failure, rejection, delay, or disgrace, I wipe it away from my life with the blood of Jesus!

37. Any foundational power that says I must struggle before I succeed, you are a liar; die by fire! My path is blessed and fruitful.

38. O God of Heaven, arise in Your anger and dismantle every ancestral altar in my father’s house that is sponsoring delay, hardship, and sorrow in my life; let their evil assignments expire by fire, in the name of Jesus.

39. Every family strongman holding my glory, my testimony, my promotion, or my breakthrough in captivity, I command your grip to break forever; release my destiny and die by fire, in the name of Jesus.

40. Bloodline covenants that were made before I was born, and are now manifesting as battles in my life, I renounce you, I reject you, I break your hold, and I command you to catch fire, in the name of Jesus.

41. Every evil pattern of failure, sickness, rejection, rising and falling, disappointment, or shame running in my father’s house, I disconnect myself and my household from you permanently, in the mighty name of Jesus.

42. Wherever my name, picture, clothes, or personal items have been taken to ancestral altars in my father’s house, O consuming fire of God, locate them, scatter them, and restore my destiny, in the name of Jesus.

43. Any evil foundation laid by my forefathers that is fighting my progress today, be uprooted by the thunder of God; let a new foundation of favour, greatness, and victory be established for me now, in the name of Jesus.

44. Every family witchcraft power monitoring my star, reporting my progress, or attacking my breakthroughs, your time is up, fall down and perish by fire, in the name of Jesus.

45. Powers in my father’s house that say I will not rise, that say I will not marry, that say I will not prosper, that say I will not fulfill my destiny, I confront you with the sword of the Lord, collapse and scatter, in the name of Jesus.

46. Every ancestral embargo placed on the men or women of my father’s house — embargo on success, marriage, finance, wisdom, or health, I tear it off my life by the power of the Holy Ghost, in the name of Jesus.

47. O God of war, arise and backdate Your judgment to every generation before me; let all ancient battles attached to my surname bow and die now, in the name of Jesus.

48. Every family idol claiming ownership over my destiny, speaking against my breakthrough, or diverting my blessings, I silence you by fire and I dismantle your throne, in the name of Jesus.

49. Powers from my father’s house that attacked my parents and now want to attack me, I become too hot for you to handle, die by fire and thunder, in the name of Jesus.

50. Wherever my destiny certificate, glory, health, wealth, or joy has been locked up in my father’s house, I command divine angels to break the padlocks, open the gates, and restore everything back to me, in the name of Jesus.

51. Every curse of “almost there but never entering,” inherited from my father’s lineage, I reject you, I overthrow you, and I replace you with the blessing of evidence, in the name of Jesus.

52. Any ancestral sacrifice speaking against my rising, my ministry, my marriage, or my success, I silence your voice with the blood of Jesus, and I command your power base to scatter, in the name of Jesus.

53. Every wicked personality in my father’s house using dreams to attack me, using words to speak against me, or using witchcraft to monitor me, lose your power and die without remedy, in Jesus’ name.

55. Every spiritual rope, chain, cage, confinement, or imprisonment from my father’s house holding my destiny down, break, melt, and scatter by fire, in the name of Jesus.

56. O Lord, arise and separate me from every negative family history; let my life become a new testimony and a new story that contradicts the pattern of my father’s house, in the name of Jesus.

57. Any power from my father’s house waiting at the edge of my breakthrough to frustrate me, fall down, scatter, and die by fire, in the name of Jesus.

58. O Lord, arise with Your flaming sword and cut off every evil ancestral attachment, spiritual chain, or generational link that is dragging my destiny backward, in the name of Jesus.

59. Every wicked elder in my father’s house spiritually sitting on my star, my blessings, my promotion, or my celebration, I unseat you by the authority of God and command your throne to scatter by fire, in the name of Jesus.

60. Any ancestral shrine calling my name for evil, invoking my destiny, or summoning my progress, receive thunder, collapse instantly, and burn to ashes, in the mighty name of Jesus.

61. Powers enforcing family limitations upon my life; limitations on finances, marriage, success, or ministry, I cancel you completely and I decree divine elevation over my life, in the name of Jesus.

62. Every evil messenger from my father’s house assigned to block my helpers, frustrate my opportunities, or confuse my path, receive angelic arrows of destruction and perish now, in the name of Jesus.

63. I command every ancestral spirit of poverty, hardship, and lack running through the bloodline of my father’s house to die violently and release my glory, in the name of Jesus.
