Dream About Drinking Alcohol

Ephesians 5:18 And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the Spirit;

The bible says, drunkenness is a sin. In Ephesians 5:18, but drinking alcohol may not be connected to sin, especially when it is done in moderation. The bible describes wine as a gift from God that can make life more enjoyable (Psalm 104:14-15). No wonder Jesus drank wine during his time on earth (Matthew 26:29, Luke 7:34). In John 2:1-10, Jesus turned water into wine as a gift at a marriage feast.

In dreams, drinking alcohol can have a variety of meanings; it can be a sign of pollution, sin, contamination, defilement and backsliding. When you dream of being drunk, it means that you have backslidden. It means a spiritual attack on your faith. It means that you are not filled with the Holy Spirit. In other words, this means that you have been disconnected from God, and you are living a life that is not pleasing to God.

You may be drinking because of depression or the troubles of life. A dream of drinking alcohol may mean that your faith and spiritual life have been compromised or under attack. This dream might be sending you a signal of danger looming ahead. You need to be careful or cautious with unbelievers. These people may be a bad influence on your life.

Repent and flee from that corrupt association. You have a great destiny and do not kill it by your sinful act. In Romans 14:21, the bible says, It is not good to drink wine. The truth is, drinking alcohol is a warning of spiritual weakness, Laziness, pride, arrogance and an uncontrollable attitude. You will surely experience a sharp decline in prayer life.

For example, if your spiritual life is pegged at 9090, the dream is a confirmation that your spiritual or prayer life rate has dropped to 2% and this is a red flag. It can cause God and the angels to separate from you until you turn away from your sin.

If you see a pastor drinking alcohol in a dream, it is a sign that such a pastor might be indulging in secret sin, or the dream may be a sign that such a pastor doesn’t see anything wrong when believers drink alcohol only when it is done in excess.

If you see your husband or boyfriend drinking alcohol with friends, it means that your husband is getting polluted and his mind is corrupted. He may be acting strangely towards you. His love, care and attention may be reducing over time. However, drinking alcohol may be a sign of happiness and celebration, excitement and good health.

It may also represent your desire to kill your burdensome and overcome your frustration about something that does not work out for you. Drinking alcohol in excess may amount to trouble for you. It may be a sign that you are under the strange influence of the devil. It can lead to poverty, loss of control, serious health problems, anger and sexual urge.

Drunkenness can lead to destruction, disaster or accident. A frequent dream about drinking alcohol may indicate that you are addicted to something that is slowly damaging your life and giving people the wrong perception of you. And if you see someone drinking alcohol to stupor, it means that person or someone you know is living a rough lifestyle.

The person needs to be oriented and guided. Similarly, if you dram of pregnant woman drinks wine or alcohol, it is a sign of temptation. It means that the enemy wants to abort something good in her life that may lead to sorrow. To dream of children drinking alcohol means that you need to be careful of peer pressure and their manipulations.

To dream of someone giving alcohol or wine may mean that someone wants to influence you. If you are worried or depressed about your issues, taking alcohol should be the last option. Cast your burdens to Jesus; he is ready to take them and give you peace.

Alcohol is not the best way to cure depression. To see yourself buying or selling alcohol in a dream is a warning to be careful with the move you are taking. To see your shop or house used for a beer parlour suggests quarrel, laziness and financial crises. In conclusion, a dream of drinking wine or someone drinking alcohol is a warning of confusion, frustration and anger that may damage your reputation.
