DAY 34: A CRY FOR MERCY FOR FINANCIAL BREAKTHROUGH

 

Psalm 51:1-2

Have mercy upon me, O God, according to thy lovingkindness: according unto the multitude of thy tender mercies blot out my transgressions.  Wash me throughly from mine iniquity, and cleanse me from my sin.

Deuteronomy 8:18

But thou shalt remember the Lord thy God: for it is he that giveth thee power to get wealth, that he may establish his covenant which he sware unto thy fathers, as it is this day.

INTRODUCTION

Financial breakthrough is far deeper than just seeing money appear in your bank account or experiencing a brief moment of relief from your current struggles. It is not about getting a one-time blessing that solves your immediate problem only for you to fall back into the same cycle of lack a few months later.

True financial breakthrough represents a complete and permanent transformation in every area of your economic life. It is the shift from lack to abundance, from being a borrower to becoming a lender, from struggling to make ends meet to thriving in every season, from living with limitations to experiencing supernatural overflow, and from constantly asking others for help to being in a position where you can bless and help others generously.

This kind of breakthrough is not just about survival. It is about living in the fullness of God’s original design for your life. From the very beginning, God’s intention for us has always been prosperity, multiplication, and dominion over the resources of the earth.

When God created Adam and Eve, He placed them in a garden of abundance where everything they needed was available. He blessed them and commanded them to be fruitful, multiply, and take dominion. This was not just a physical blessing but also an economic mandate. God wanted His children to prosper, to have more than enough, and to manage the wealth of the earth as His stewards.

Despite this divine blueprint for abundance, many believers today find themselves trapped in frustrating cycles that seem impossible to break. They are locked in chronic financial struggle that never seems to end no matter how hard they try. They live under the weight of perpetual debt that keeps growing instead of shrinking.

They experience economic bondage where they work like slaves but remain poor like beggars. They labor tirelessly, putting in long hours and exhausting themselves, yet they have very little to show for all their efforts. The harder they work, the more it seems like their money disappears into thin air.

Many people earn regular income from their jobs or businesses, but they cannot explain where the money goes. They receive their salary at the beginning of the month, and before they know it, everything is finished with no clear accounting of how it was spent.

Others have big dreams and powerful visions that God has placed in their hearts, but they lack the financial resources to pursue those dreams. The vision is clear, the plan is ready, but the money is not there. Some desire deeply to be generous givers, to support the work of God, to help the poor, and to bless their families, but they can barely take care of their own basic needs.

They want to give, but they have nothing to give from. This kind of financial frustration and limitation is not God’s perfect will for His children. It is not what He planned or desired for you. God is not a wicked Father who wants to see His children suffer in poverty while the world enjoys abundance. The Bible is clear that God takes pleasure in the prosperity of His servants.

He desires that we prosper and be in health even as our souls prosper. He wants us to have enough for ourselves and overflow to bless others. So why then do so many believers experience financial struggle instead of financial freedom?

The answer is found in understanding that poverty is not just a natural condition but often a spiritual problem with spiritual roots. Financial struggle in the lives of many people is the result of several factors working together. There are spiritual forces assigned by the kingdom of darkness to keep people in poverty and prevent them from accessing their divine inheritance.

There are generational patterns and curses passed down through family bloodlines that perpetuate cycles of lack from one generation to the next. There are personal mistakes, wrong decisions, and disobedience to divine principles that open doors for financial failure.

And there is direct satanic oppression and witchcraft attacks targeted specifically at destroying people’s financial destiny. These invisible forces are real, and they are actively working against your prosperity. There are demons assigned to scatter your money as fast as it comes.

There are ancestral spirits enforcing poverty covenants over your family lineage. There are witchcraft powers conducting spiritual robbery against your finances in the realm of the spirit. There are curses spoken by enemies or even by your own ancestors that are still active and operating against your economic advancement.

These are not just thinking. They are spiritual realities that must be addressed if you want to experience lasting financial breakthrough. This is why financial breakthrough requires more than just natural solutions. Yes, positive thinking has its place. Having the right mindset about money is important.

Hard work is necessary and commanded by scripture. Better budgeting and financial management are wise practices that every believer should implement. But these things alone are not enough to break the spiritual chains that are holding your finances captive.

You can think positively all day long, but if there is a curse on your bloodline, positive thinking will not break it. You can work hard from morning till night, but if there is a spiritual hole in your financial bag, hard work alone will not seal it.

You can budget carefully and manage your money wisely, but if witchcraft powers are diverting your blessings in the spirit realm, budgeting will not stop them. What you need is divine intervention. You need God Himself to step into your situation with His mighty power and mercy.

You need Him to break what you cannot break, to open what you cannot open, to destroy what you cannot destroy, and to release what you cannot access on your own. When God intervenes in your financial situation through His mercy, several things happen simultaneously that no human effort could accomplish.

First, there is a breaking of curses. Every word spoken against your prosperity, every evil pronouncement over your family’s finances, and every satanic verdict of perpetual poverty is shattered by the power of divine mercy. These curses lose their legal right to operate in your life, and their effects are cancelled permanently.

Second, there is a recovery of stolen blessings. Everything the enemy has stolen from you and your family over the years is commanded to be restored. Money that was diverted, opportunities that were blocked, and wealth that was transferred to your enemies are all brought back to you by angelic intervention. God not only stops future attacks but also compensates you for past losses.

Third, there is a divine opening of financial doors that have been shut. Doors of opportunity, doors of favour, doors of increase, and doors of supernatural provision swing open by the hand of God. What was previously impossible becomes suddenly possible. What was closed for years opens in a moment.

Fourth, there is an activation of blessing and multiplication. God releases His creative power into your hands, your work, your business, and your ideas. What you touch begins to prosper. What you sow begins to multiply. And what seemed small begins to grow beyond natural explanation.

The prayer points you are about to engage are not ordinary prayers. They are carefully crafted spiritual weapons designed to address every major area of financial blockage and to activate God’s mercy for your complete breakthrough. These prayers target the root causes of poverty, not just the symptoms.

They deal with ancestral issues, break evil covenants, cast out money-repelling spirits, destroy satanic blockages, recover stolen wealth, and release divine favour and provision. As you cry out to God for mercy through these prayers, His mercy will respond.

It will speak on your behalf in the courts of heaven. It will override every contrary verdict. It will silence every voice of accusation. It will open the windows of heaven over your life. And it will restore your finances to the level God originally intended for you. Your season of financial struggle is coming to an end.

Your time of breakthrough has arrived. God’s mercy is about to change your story completely. Prepare your heart, engage these prayers with violent faith, and get ready to receive the financial transformation that heaven has already released in your direction.

 

CONFESSION

Today, I cry out for Your mercy to intervene in my financial situation. Let Your abundant mercy arise like a mighty flood and sweep away every chain of financial struggle that has bound my life. Break every yoke of poverty that has weighed down my shoulders. Shatter every cycle of lack that has repeated itself in my family generation after generation.

Destroy every pattern of financial failure that has frustrated my efforts and stolen my joy. By the power of Your mercy, let these chains fall off my hands, my feet, and my destiny right now.
I humble myself before You and confess every financial error I have made, whether in ignorance or in deliberate disobedience.

I repent of every wrong decision that has cost me money and opportunities. I acknowledge the times I have wasted resources on foolish things, spent money to impress people who do not care about me, and neglected wisdom in managing what You gave me.

I confess the times I have been greedy, dishonest in business dealings, or ungrateful for Your provisions. I repent of every moment I trusted in my own strength instead of depending on You. I confess anxiety, fear, and lack of faith concerning my finances.

Lord, I receive Your correction with a willing heart. Teach me Your ways of financial wisdom. Show me where I have gone wrong and lead me on the path of prosperity. Correct my thinking, adjust my priorities, and align my spending with Your will.

I am ready to learn from my mistakes and walk in obedience to Your financial principles. By Your mercy, let every lesson I need to learn be downloaded into my spirit so that I do not repeat the errors of my past. I declare by faith that my ways are opening right now by the mercy of God.

Every barrier that has stood between me and my financial breakthrough is collapsing under the weight of divine mercy. My path to prosperity is being cleared by angels of God. Obstacles are being removed. Hindrances are being destroyed. And opportunities are being released into my life from every direction.

I prophesy over my life that I shall have more than enough in my storehouse. My barns shall be filled with plenty. My cup shall overflow with abundance. My table shall be loaded with good things. There shall be no lack in my dwelling place. My children shall not beg for bread.

My household shall be a place of plenty, not poverty. I shall have enough for myself, enough for my family, and enough to bless others. Scarcity is leaving my life, and abundance is taking its rightful place. I refuse to borrow from this day forward. I reject the spirit of debt and the shame of being a perpetual beggar.

I will not be a servant to lenders anymore. I decree that the season of borrowing is over in my life. Instead, I shall become a lender to many. People will come to me for help, and I shall have enough to give them. The cycle of dependency on others is broken. The pattern of going cap in hand to ask for financial assistance is terminated. I am moving from the position of a borrower to the position of a blessing.

I receive divine ideas by the inspiration of the Holy Spirit. Creative thoughts for wealth creation are flooding my mind right now. Business concepts that will generate income are being downloaded into my spirit. Strategies for financial breakthrough are being revealed to my spirit. God is showing me opportunities that others cannot see.

He is giving me wisdom that will set me apart from the crowd. I receive supernatural intelligence to turn my gifts and talents into streams of income. I receive uncommon insight to solve problems that people will pay me to solve. Every idea I need to succeed financially is being released into my spirit right now.

I receive divine favour that opens doors no man can shut. Favour with people in positions of authority and influence is resting upon my life. Favour that makes me unforgettable in the minds of those who can help me is overshadowing my destiny. Favour that causes people to recommend me for opportunities without my asking is activated over my life.

Favour that brings promotion, contracts, and financial blessings is surrounding me like a shield. Wherever I go, I carry the fragrance of divine favor that attracts prosperity.
I receive divine helpers assigned by heaven to assist my financial breakthrough.

God is sending people into my life who will open doors for me, connect me to the right opportunities, invest in my vision, and mentor me in the ways of wealth. These helpers are being positioned by divine providence. Some are already close to me but have not yet been activated.

Others are on their way and will arrive at the appointed time. I shall not struggle alone. I shall not labor in isolation. Heaven-sent helpers are coming to my aid, and together we shall achieve what I could never accomplish by myself.

By the mercy of God Almighty, I am stepping out of financial struggle and stepping into financial rest. I am moving from poverty to prosperity, from lack to abundance, from begging to blessing others. My story is changing. My testimony is shifting. My financial status is being upgraded.

And everything that has held me down is now letting me go. I am free. I am blessed. I am prosperous. And I walk forward in confidence, knowing that the God of mercy has heard my cry and answered my prayer. In Jesus’ mighty  name, I have confessed, believed, and received. Amen and Amen!

 

PRAISE AND WORSHIP

Spend at least ten to fifteen minutes in this place of thanksgiving and worship before you begin your prayer points. Do not rush this process. The quality of your worship will determine the quality of your prayer warfare. When you have properly positioned yourself in God’s presence through genuine praise, the prayers that follow will carry greater power and produce faster results.

Even as you move into aggressive prayer warfare, do not lose the spirit of worship. Worship is not just the introduction to prayer; it should be the atmosphere that surrounds your entire prayer session. Between prayer points, pause to thank God again. After declaring warfare prayers, stop to worship Him as your victory. As you intercede for breakthrough, remember to honor Him as the Breaker who goes before you.

Many people jump straight into asking God for things without first honoring Him for who He is and what He has already done. This approach limits the effectiveness of your prayers. Thanksgiving and praise open the gates of heaven. They soften your heart and align your spirit with God’s will.

When you worship God genuinely, you are acknowledging His sovereignty, declaring His faithfulness, and expressing your trust in His ability to handle your financial situation. This attitude of gratitude and reverence releases divine favour and accelerates your breakthrough.

Find a quiet place where you will not be disturbed. Turn off distractions like television, phone notifications, and anything else that might interrupt your communion with God. If you are praying with family members or a prayer partner, gather together in agreement. Create an atmosphere of reverence and expectation.

Begin by acknowledging the presence of God. Remember that you are not talking to the ceiling or speaking into empty space. You are entering the throne room of the Most High God, the Creator of heaven and earth. Approach Him with reverence, but also with confidence, knowing that He has invited you to come boldly before His throne of grace.

Start by thanking God for the gift of life itself. You woke up this morning when many people did not. Your heart is beating, your lungs are breathing, and your mind is functioning. These are not small things. They are miracles of divine grace.

Every breath you take is a testimony that God still has purpose for you on this earth. Thank Him specifically for His protection over your finances up to this point. Even though you may be experiencing struggle, things could have been worse.

The enemy plotted total destruction, but God’s mercy has kept you from complete bankruptcy and total ruin. You still have a roof over your head. You still have food to eat. You still have clothes to wear. These provisions, no matter how small they seem, are evidence of God’s faithfulness.

Thank Him for every financial blessing you have ever received, no matter how long ago it was. Remember the times when money came unexpectedly. Recall the moments when someone helped you when you had nowhere else to turn. Think about the contracts, jobs, and opportunities that opened for you in the past.

Give God praise for every salary you have earned, every gift you have received, and every door that has opened in your lifetime.

Thank Him for keeping you alive during seasons when poverty almost drove you to despair. Thank Him for protecting your mind from depression and your spirit from giving up. Thank Him for the strength to keep fighting, the courage to keep believing, and the faith to keep praying even when nothing seemed to change.

PRAYER ASSIGNMENT

Set aside quality time in a quiet place where you can hear clearly from God. Enter into His presence with a humble and open heart. Ask the Holy Spirit to reveal to you the specific sources and entry points of the financial attacks you have been experiencing.

Pray sincerely and ask God these questions:

• Lord, where is this financial struggle coming from? Is it ancestral patterns, evil covenants, or personal mistakes?
• Father, show me if there are doors I have opened through sin, wrong relationships, or disobedience that are allowing these attacks.
• Holy Spirit, reveal to me if household enemies, jealous neighbors, or witchcraft covens are behind my financial troubles.
• Lord, is there unforgiveness, bitterness, or pride in my heart that is blocking my financial blessings?
• God, show me if my spending habits, poor financial decisions, or lack of wisdom are contributing to this situation.
• Father, are there evil dedications, curses, or satanic agreements from my foundation attacking my prosperity?

 

As you pray, be sensitive to the voice of the Holy Spirit. He may speak to you through scripture, through a strong impression in your spirit, through dreams, or through a prophetic word. Write down whatever He reveals to you.

Sometimes the answer comes immediately, and sometimes it comes days later as you continue to seek His face. Be patient and persistent. Once God shows you the root of the problem, you will know exactly how to pray and what steps to take for total deliverance.

Before you ask God for more, take time to appreciate what He has already done for you. Gratitude opens the door for greater blessings. An ungrateful heart closes the windows of heaven, but a thankful heart attracts divine favour and supernatural provision.

Spend deliberate time thanking God for every provision He has already given you, no matter how small it may seem:Thank Him for the little income you currently have, knowing that faithful stewardship over little will lead to rulership over much.

Thank Him for keeping you alive during seasons when the enemy wanted to destroy you through poverty and lack. Thank Him for His faithfulness even when your own faith was weak. Thank Him for not allowing you to become totally bankrupt or completely destitute.

Thank Him for protecting you from worse financial disasters that were planned against you but never manifested.As you give thanks, your perspective will shift. Your faith will rise. Your spirit will be lifted. And God will see that you are ready to handle the greater blessings He is preparing to release into your life. Thanksgiving is not just good manners toward God; it is a spiritual key that unlocks heavenly storehouses and releases supernatural breakthrough.

Make this prayer assignment a daily practice, not just a one-time activity. The more you seek God’s wisdom about your financial battles and the more you cultivate gratitude for His provisions, the faster you will move from lack to abundance, from poverty to prosperity, and from financial struggle to financial rest.
