The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) is an organization set up by the Nigerian government to involve the country’s graduates in the development of the country. It is an annual programme set up to encourage unity among the various ethnic groups in Nigeria. This is known in Nigeria as ”Service Year”.

Love is one of the most formidable background for relationship and courtship.  Most people has the opinion that the NYSC is an avenue of making fun and excitement.

For some people, NYSC is an opportunity to serve their fatherland. I have come to realize that NYSC is a medium of meeting people and exchanging ideas, feelings and thoughts together.

There are many people today, the time they should have used to pray for their life partner, they are using it for the things of the world. The Bible says, the spirit is willing but the flesh is weak. That is, God instructed you to pray your way out of loneliness before embarking to service.

Holiness within and without means a lot to God. Being holy is a great virtue. When you are pure in truth and in spirit, you will have no problem to get a partner.

When you are God Fearing, you cannot cheat your life partner or double date. When you are transparent to the core, you cannot live another lifestyle in camp and another one at home.

Once you are after the things of God, God will love you and even connect you to a person that you have never dreamed of for your entire life. God is interested in your repentance and confession before sojourning to another state for your NYSC service. When you walk in the path of righteousness, you will hear from God and have the ability to obey His voice.

When He says marry this man, you will obey. When He also say don’t marry this person, you have to try as much as possible to heed to that voice (John 10:27).

We have heard many instances of couples that have started their relationship from the NYSC service and today they are both married.  Locating a life partner might be so difficult for women to get, and same thing as knowing the right man for them in marriage.

The joy of a good mother is to see her daughter getting married to the right man for marriage. But when a lady graduated from service without engaging with a man or let alone in a serious relationship, it portends a bad signal for the parents especially the mother.

Praying for the right person to share your life with can also save you time and help you avoid mistakes by eliminating potential partners who are not right for you.

When God revealed to you that you will get your life partner in NYSC, be rest assured that you will get it. When there is a confirmation from a man of God that you will marry from a particular tribe, be bold and fearless: That is to explain to you that God is there with you.

BEFORE GOING FOR National Youth Service Corps  (NYSC) SERVICE AS A SINGLE.

It is very important you do the following with utmost seriousness it deserve

1. Go for deliverance
2. Meet your pastor for  prayers and revelation
3. Ask God to show you the state where you will be maritally favoured
4. Cry out to God in prayers and fasting
5. If possible, get rid of your indecent dressings or wears
6. Live a holy life
7. Disconnect yourself from immature and unserious friends
8. Pray to God the kind of man you wish to marry
9. Don’t go to service and started wearing trousers, painting your lips, and perming your hair
10. Pray against monitoring spirit and delaying spirit
11. Don’t live a double life when you are there
12. Join a Christian fellowship and be more responsive in whatever they do
