James 1:22-25,

But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves. For if any be a hearer of the word, and not a doer, he is like unto a man beholding his natural face in a glass: For he beholdeth himself, and goeth his way, and straightway forgetteth what manner of man he was. But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed.

Genesis 1:27 
So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.

WHAT IS MIRROR OF GOD?

This is the word of God. It is a reflection of God’s image in you. It stands as a divine revelation and warning. This is the thought of the Holy Spirit concerning you. The mirror of God reveals the activities of the past, present and future to you in clarity (Heb 13:8). God is the mirror in which we see for everyday blessings.

SPEAKING TO YOURSELF IN THE MIRROR THROUGH PRACTICAL PRAYERS

The Bible is the mirror of God. The mirror of God reveals our sin, mistakes and our true identity.  Speaking to yourself in the mirror is like speaking to the Holy Spirit in you. It has been proven that speaking to one self oftentimes in the mirror is one of the fastest ways to kill depression and hopeless thoughts.

Our God gives us the clear picture of what we should be so that we might not end up no way! Elisha looked at Elijah’s mirror and received a double portion. Gehazi looked at a wrong mirror of materialism and inherited leprosy.

Visions are mirrors that God puts in us to make adjustments in life. When you look at the mirror, you will see yourself – That’s God’s image. Speaking to yourself in the mirror can benefit a person. ”1 John 4:4, ”…because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.”

One of the many benefits are: An increased faith, hope, power and determination to succeed. However, speaking to the mirror by rendering prayer of confession can also be lead to answer prayers and self-motivation. While speaking in tongues, speaking out to the word of God to yourself through the ”mirror ” is also an essential part of the believer’s devotional prayer life.

The Bible says, 2 Corinthians 3:18, But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord. There was a time, perhaps in my polytechnic education (Auchi).  Whenever I am in troubles, pains, or in a situation totally beyond my control (depression)  I will carry my personal mirror, speaking good things to it both day and night.

Every time I will see myself speaking through the mirror declaring words like: ”You are a great man. You will arise and shine, You, Joshua, you will be known all over the world. You will stand tall and your progress will spread like a wind etc. To be honest with you, this simple practical prayers have actually contributed greatly to my life and destiny.

Taking your mirror and at the same time speaking positive declarations through it is the ability of taking away your inner  fear and self inferiority complex. A child learns by first talking through to his parents. Because that is the only ”mirror” in which they see at all times for love and motivation. By the time such child grows up maybe to maturity stage, he learns to look at his own mirror for personal development.

In a world where beauty is vital, and where all things beautiful are desired, mirrors gained its central place. Image has become everything nowadays. People would love to see their best, often look at the mirror.  The Bible understand the importance of images as this create good memory in our heart.

Genesis 1:26 – And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.

Mirror can also be used as a means of communication between you and God. God gives us the platform to speak to Him at all times (Ps 55:22). Seeing yourself in the Word (the mirror of God) and acting accordingly is the way to live in the reality of your inheritance in Christ. That’s how to enjoy all that God has made available to you in Christ Jesus. I urge you to use your mirror today: keep studying and listening to the Word of God.

WHY MUST YOU SPEAK TO YOURSELF IN THE MIRROR?

The importance are as follows:

• It builds your hope, faith faster.
• It deactivates all evil thoughts and negative confession.
• It makes you see yourself more better than yesterday.
• It eliminates loneliness and depression quickly.
• It stores your mind with positive seeds, words.
• It keeps you organised and focused to your goals.
• It creates a sense of relationship between you and the Holy Spirit.
• It restores your confidence power to achieve your next goals.
• When speaking to the mirror more often, it destroys self inferiority complex.
• It gives you priviledge to identify your errors, mistakes and weaknesses.

To look into the mirror of God’s word is to drive you into the world of possibilities. To look into the mirror of God is to be only the doers and not only the hearers.

The Bible says, look unto Jesus, He is the Author and the Finisher of our Faith. When you look yourself at the mirror in your home, you are going to see the reflection of yourself and likely see things around you. This gives us the chance to appreciate and be thankful to God.

Most Christians have been programmed with some religious teachings; programmed to believe in what seems not to be in-line with God’s doctrine, programmed to act outside the will of God, but they are woefully ignorant of the truth of God’s Word. Those who believe in God will not break other people’s mirror (Damaging reputation). Those who are truly called the children of God will not hinder or break a person’s focus.

Satanic mirror is taking the identity of the enemy. The mirror principle of the devil is that you see yourself as what they sees you to be and not what God see you as. Satan tries to influence the thinking of people by providing false information and deceptions.

The world is so saturated with conflicting religious teachings and difficult people.  One of the ways for a person to know he or she is operating on satanic influence are : Greed, pride, stubbornness, unforgiveness, anger, hopelessness, immorality, wrath, wickedness etc.

What makes some people not to believe in the fulfillment of their goals is because of the frustration and depression these above symptoms have caused them. When Satan targets you in this way, it becomes a formidable challenge to see the glory of God in your life. (John 8:44-47).

It will be very difficult to appreciate the little ones you have.  Our image is very powerful, but when such image is being tarnished by others, it becomes hard to be fully restored. The truth remain that the Almighty God will build you and cause people to help your situation, in Jesus name.

Have you ever wondered why the Bible admonished us to keep looking unto Jesus for our situations? The answer states: He is the Author and Finisher of our faith. In other words, our faith is based on Him and on what He is capable of doing for and through us. No wonder Apostle Paul declared in Philippians 4:13: “I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.”

Are you daily troubled in your spirit? Has things suddenly become almost impossible? Do you know the Messiah is around to lift up your burdens? Speaking out your challenges is very good. They often said, a closed mouth is a closed destiny.

If you are sick, say to the mirror, I am healed. If you are depressed, say to the mirror now, I am happy. If you are in bondage today say to that mirror, I am breaking forth. If your desire is to get a child, declare through your mirror, I am a fruitful and shall conceive. If you are out of cash, say this often.   (Mention your names)….you shall have full control over money.

If you are struggling to get a life partner, there is nothing wrong when you confront the mirror and declare this. I am the next in-line to be married in my family.  The truth is, God wants us to approach Him in prayer and speak with Him in boldness in the spirit. He wants the best for us (Jer 29:11, John 14:26).

Mark 11:23 
For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.

Pray for Supernatural favour

• My God arise and anoint me with oil of favour and gladness in Jesus name.
• I bind, rebuke, cast out all anti-favour demons from my life/marriage/business in Jesus name.
• Father Lord by your mercies, my time of favour has come, let men begin to favour me in Jesus name.

• Father Lord command the gate of favour to open unto me throughout this year in Jesus name.

Confession of faith:

Father I thank you for mercy upon my life. I am the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus (2 Cor. 5: 21). Therefore I shall be compassed with favour (Ps 5:12), because I delight in the Lord of Zion my set time to be favoured is now oh! My king has favour on me; and causes me to have favour with men this day/week/month. I shall arise and shine forth to every corner of the world. I activate the power and fire of the Holy Ghost upon my life. Whatever is the limitation that has held me bound, I am breaking forth, in the name of Jesus.
