Encouraging Christian Bloggers Around The World

Christian Bloggers Vs Career

Proverbs 18:16, A man’s gift maketh room for him, and bringeth him before great men.”

Blogging is not only a medium for the fun of it, it’s also a viable career option. When blogging started, not many Nigerians are fully aware of the goldmine opportunity. But today, we have lots of people jumping into the profession of (Christians) blogging around the world.

We have had great bloggers in Nigeria,  who are making strong waves in the entertainment and tech industry. These people, includes, Linda Ikeji Blog,  (Ogbonge Blog), Lailas Blog, Shoutmeloud, others are, Gotquestions.org, Mountainoffire.org etc.

While the blogging scene has developed over the last decade, the benefits of blogging are still plentiful and profitable. There are many bloggers out there who are working harder and at the same time staying on their niche, but little has been heard from Christian bloggers.

This is a strong worry that has led me to write this article to my fellow Christians around the world particularly in Nigeria, who might be thinking of the best ways to render their selfless service to the Christian community. It is a true response that many people primarily subscribe to being a blogger for the money aspect. That’s okay. Thank God for the era of digitization.

Blogging is becoming a certified career in Nigeria, but there are still a few blogs that serve as a platform for doing the works of God. Whether your passion is to pray, sharing the word of God, blogging gives you the opportunity to display your gifts or passion in a more powerful way.

One of the easiest ways to revive Christian bloggers in Nigeria is to start having the need to spread the gospel of God. This is the greatest key of gaining the heart of the Holy Spirit. And once the Lord is behind you, it is progress and prosperity ever. For example, if you’re someone who loves to teach, starting a blog can provide the opportunity to educate others about God’s word.

The best part is that, as you build resources on your blog to teach others, you may not realize how many people from different nations are reading your teachings and picking important lessons from it. Because you are imparting destinies and the host of heaven will be there for you.

The more you write quality contents, the better you become at it. This is not about knowing how SEO works or how to do keyword research. The beginning may be challenging, but at the end , you ‘ll surely smile a lot. Personally, I have a spiritual gift and a website  which I have been running for years, and however, this web ministry has blessed billions of people. Why? Because God is in it.

From this awesome gift, I developed a blog for myself to bless others since 2013, but today, the website readership is wide and deep into the heart of billions of people. Yours might not be dreams, but you should have one of two things swimming in your mind that should motivate, inspire others powerfully. Trust me, if you work tirelessly and tactically without aiming at money at first, the Holy Spirit will lift you high.

Most people start out with one blog, but along the way, they gain experience and eventually generate useful ideas for improving on their blogs by monetizing it through Google Adsense as a way of generating funds for themselves. What you put together from your blog posts are tools to encourage others  and make you great person in your niche tomorrow.

Being a Nigeria Christian blogger is a great way of showcasing your service to the world to see, and bless through it. Blogging for Christ is an evangelism too. For example, Linda Ikeji, a Nigerian popular blogger is excelling in her niche because that is her area of strength. By showcasing your passion, it will gain more exposure to great people including pastors that will have no means than to support or invite you in their church for presentation. Surprise? This is a golden opportunity!

Do you want to start your own Christian blog?

Wpbeginner has resources to make you start blogging in a more simplest way.

As the internet ingrained in our day-to-day lives, the benefits of blogging or building a Christian website in Nigeria or elsewhere become impossible to ignore. However, unlike in the early days, Christian bloggers don’t need to have a degree in computer science or a being a WordPress developer before they can do something to the world.

If you’re unsure of whether Christian blogging is right for you or not, considering your Christian way of life, pray and let God direct you on the path of your career. Do not be like my friend that blog for 5 years in a news niche only to hear God’s call to be a Christian blogger. Huh?

Evangelist Joshua is a proud graduate from Auchi Polytechnic, Edo State, Nigeria. This evangelism blogging was whole of me during my school days. So I had a girlfriend in the institution then who knows how to bake cakes very well. She told me on a certain day that when she finished from school, where would she get money to promote her works?. I told her that she should not worry and there should be a way out. She said, what’s the way out? I told her that I will open a website for her where she can use as a career to do and advertise her cake business. Today, to the glory of God, the lady is blessed-financially stable.

Passionate Christian bloggers are ready to do the best they can to promote the works of the Lord (Matt 28). If you are hungry to bless others with your gifts, talents, skills, blogging would be the right profession for you. When you have good voice in singing for instance, putting them in a blog can be powerful and effective. When you have a good flair for writing, composing them on a blog will make a meaningful impact . Do not be lazy as a person.

When you take blogging as a platform to reach out loss souls, your total focus will be how to make sure you meet their spiritual demands. Lots of people see Christian blogging as an old fashioned, hence, they want to go into entertainments. Its good, but be prayerful.

How To Become A Professional Christian Blogger

Blogging is not for lazy people, or those that are fond of procrastination. For this purpose, I would like to carefully tell you the best methods to become a blogger. These includes:

  • Pray very well for God to show you the place of your career.
  • You must have the passion for writing quality posts.
  • You must work on the purpose or mission of your blog.
  • You should be able to have little knowledge on SEO
  • You must be able to work almost 24 hours every day.
  • You must be hardworking, flexible and focus.
  • You must be original, unique and trusted.
  • You should be able to make Bible research.

I want to challenge the Nigerian youths especially the Christians who are reading this mail to start a blog someday, if this is what is agitating your mind. However, being a good Christian writer is not a prerequisite for a successful blog. But what matter most is your passion. Thanks.
